  1. you need to wait till about 3 in the morning and then spam to your hearts content. don't even worry about writting just use the emoticons like this
  2. Ian very kindly gave me a set of bonnet dampers which were in a bit of need of some TLC so i have refurbed them for going on to my car. they maynot be to everyones taste but at the end of the day they will do the job. as you can see from the pics they haven't weathered to well This is one of them after i had given it a really good clean. i used a blunt metal object to scrape the paint off The finished articles were sprayed with smooth red hammerite. i originally wanted to use standard car paint but the damamge from the rust was still there and i didn't trust it to stay away. and thought if i had used ordinary paint it would have looked fairly similar with in 12 months. The vinyls were added because the hammerite was a bitch to apply, not as easy to spray with as normal car paint. and the finish was not as good as i wanted, so the vinyl is hiding one or too of the imperfections. but once on the car i think most people will be hard puxhed to notice., and at least it will match the engine cover the brackets have also been resprayed black, but they are currently still drying in the garage. will get a pic up once they are fitted
  3. if you can find the wheels and tell us what the offset and PCD are then we'll be able to tell you if they fit.
  4. looks good, can't wait to get my head unit. i won't be doing the camera, but i do like the idea.
  5. congrats mate, i got married last year and it was great. i'm sure you'll have a smashing day. i proposed to my wife by the side of the thames where you could see tower bridge, millennium bridge, the houses of parliament.
  6. personally i'd wait on patrick, he seems to be the ones with the skills and the one who started this and said he can do it, he';s the one i'd have my money on doing a proper job. he's also the only company i know of making CF plenums and with what seems to be a positive record. my money would be on patrick.
  7. should be able to get a nitrogen fill at most performance garages. i know silverstone performance does, so do demon tweeks. advantage is that nitrogen isn't affected by heat so the pressure doen't increase or decrease during use.
  8. cheers bud, so do you forgot to mention mine is rtbiscuit hard to guess i suppose

    New Tyres

must admit, toyos have been some of the worst tyres i've driven on; when it comes to the initial scrubbing period. after they're scrubbed they're fine. but the last car i had them on when i drove from the fitters i actually stopped 5 miles down the road t check they were inflated properly i thought i was rolling on jelly. 400 miles later they were good. must use a lot of releasing agent on them
  12. you'd be better off with either a 2nd hand set of leather seats, or getting yours re trimmed. there are several cars on ebay being broken up so might be a good starting point. but the best option is a re trim, as you can have it done to any style and color you want
  13. i think you'd have to get down on your knees to thank santa for a gift like those. they aint going to be cheap.
  14. might be worth browsing the wheel centres as there might be a replica or something similar already out there.
  15. i think it might need spacers as well, but the stance is good,
  16. you got 2 options opie oils or envy performance. Opie do a whole range but the popular choice is Silkolene pro S 5w30 Envy do a service kit and you have a choice between millers or royal purple, royal purple is particularly good and comes recommended from a tour car team i know, and i'll be using it in my next service. at the end of the day as long as it has oil in there it will be fine. but i might suggest changing it out at 4500 miles as i don't think that stuff will still be as good at 9000. oil degrades over time with being heated and cooled. the more expensive good oils will maintain there abilities to a higher milage cheaper oils will do a good job but for less time.
  17. get an HPI check on it, regardless of what caused it if it shows a Cat C then it can't be sold at the same price of an equal car not on a Cat C.
  18. I know what you mean mate. Its like i find fitting bits a big turn off,but i can spend hours detailing. i'm the opposite, love the fitting, not so keen on the cleaning
  19. kaspersky and spybot is all i run and to be honest spybot hasn't picked anything up in a long time because kaspersky is doing such a good job.
  20. i stayed with admiral in the end, got the renewal down by £100 got it for about the same as you in the end. did find cheaper, but i know and trust this insurer and they done alright by me in the past. next year i might change, but will have to see when the renewal is due
  21. what have you done to it so far apart from the splash of luminescent paint?
  22. looks excellent, but its the reason i'm keeping the chrome finish stuff to a minimum. i don't have the inclination to keep polishing something once its fitted. does look absolutely spot on though
  23. i run the iphone 3G and have had no problems connecting it up to the F500BT should be running the same software. i know its the same as the F600 F900's maybe the 4100dvd is a different software?
  24. if they are the 5 spoke alloys they look like Volks something like the GTS i think, but they are big bucks. if you want good but more cost effective then try Rota's they are an affillated member on here and they do some nice wheels. as for mods to the rest ogf the car, check out the other affiliates, they are all registered on here and are used by lots of members, the ones that spring to mind are: EP racing Envy performance (gaz walker and the chilli's) CS Dreamcustomz (P15ULT) there are others but for the life of me my mind is blank. my advice ahve a browse throught eh pictures like your already doing and get an idea of what you like. the Zed is a very modable car, and all the info is on here. my suggested serach areas would be: pop chargers or filters/ CAI (all the same thing) Exhausts Body kits hope this helps
