  1. Just had a look and its not a ‘Buy it Now’ at £50, that’s what the seller has started the auction at, so it most probably will go for more by the time the auction ends, it’s not a fixed price listing… was going to say, its a starting price, i think set especially low to entice more bidders. re: chilli's : don't worry i know where your coming from and yes there are like anything in life good and bad copies, the player hating comment was aimed at the usual JDM monkies they know who they are
  2. No way is that pricing anywhere near correct: T1Rs more than the PS2s?! No chance, they'd be cheaper than all of them. Maybe R1Rs or 888s, but not T1Rs. Someone from Camskill have made an almighty balls-up there.
  3. i can't see whats wrong with it. not at that price. i have a nismo style kit in my garage, quality on its fine, was already fitted to another car before i bought it. yes there is a difference in quality with some GF kits, just make sure its a good copy, ask him what brand it is, as it should have a makers stamp and get it checked on here. for all you know he bought it direct from CS on here. as he sells on ebay as well and i know his kits are good. even the original nismo is GF. i don't get all this player hating stuff on things that are copies, i bet if you lined up a load of cars mixed with real and copied nismo kits, that once fitted and painted 95% wouldn't be able to spot the difference. if its a good copy the only difference between original and copy is the price tag. both come out ofa mould and both are made from GF. just avoid the cheap cheap ones as they tend to be a thin GF copy, suffer from weak points and air bubbles. and require a hell of a lot of prep work to get them to fit. a good copy is exactly that ... a good ... copy.
  4. reminds me i need to get on and do mine
  5. vredestein ultrac ssantas are whats going onto mine when the change si due, which should hopefully not be that far off.
  6. wasn't scotsoulboy looking at doing a set in CF, i konw its not what you asked for but it might be a possible alternative?
  7. would still love to see a pic of the BMW one
  8. Got the same problem mate! Next car on my cards will be a Z4M convertible or keep the zed and get a Caterham 1.6 superlight for track use apparently the Z4 is a step backwards. not as good as the Zed. but i understand your conundrum, where next. although i did like that vxr8 bathurst edition, the noise was addictive.
  9. has this not been done before, can't we add this to the last thread?
  10. fairly evenly matched, i say neither... they both stall on the line
  11. thats just normal life to be honest. but if your sensible on the roads it shouldn't be an issue.
  12. mine is hard to engage 2nd, but i have learnt that you can't jam it in to 2nd when changing down fast, i sit with it almost engaged and as the revs and speed drop it just slots in, had it wit several cars but its not an issue. the fact that 6th is a pain says syncro to me as well. is the synco mesh replaceable?
  13. i never new so many kids had such disposable incomes. i suppose at that age most of mine went on alchol and fags.
  14. shush and go get your nappy changed old man it seems it is indeed the young guns that take the prize, although that could be cos most of the old owners are still trying to figure out what a "double click" means and what a "mouse" is watch it sunshine i had my nappy changed earlier you lot may be younger, but i have the joy of paying a fraction of what you lot do in insurance
  15. i'm hoping to get to it, but i'm not sure as yet
  16. seems i'm heading for the older end of the scale
  17. depends on who the warrenty is with, but i would reckon they won't pay out
  18. i might have to get back to you on this, i want to refurb my own wheels, when i put new tyres on a bit later in the year, but i can't drive a car with no wheels so this might help. could then sell mine on. i suppose for the same price.
  19. must admit i've been struggling in the south of france withthe continual 35 degrees, to hot to su n bath anymore sorry to hear about the wheels.
  20. yes if you go back a couple of pages i think there are contact details for rob at likwid art, just contact direct, ringing him is best. tell him which one you want and he'll post it out to you.
  21. thought you guys might like to see a taster of the side badges. will have to wait a week till i'm back to see them on the car. am sure i'll get mixed opinions, but i like them. don't forget this is a close up. they won't be this big on your car start a list of who wants what and i'll sort it all out when i get back. have fun argueing over if you like them or not while i'm away, look forward to reading the banter when i get back.
  22. i'm confussed are you looking for 2 into 1 but bigger bore or 2 in to 2 for a true "true dual" sorry if it s silly questions, its late and my brain don't work.
