  1. should have shot it. not a fan of rodents, spent a lot of time sorting out rabbits and rats on farms, to me thats just a big rat
  2. don't panic mr. Mannering i had this with an order from Z1 auto in the states, goes by USPS arrives here, message on Net says tired to deliver, no calling card, panic, etc etc, yep been there. end result is that parcel force send you a proper letter through the post to say your item has outstanding charges, then you can go and collect. you'll just have to wait for the letter.
  3. to stop very big things getting to your rad, like animals and bunnies. also stops stones etc. hence i'm going for the woven and nylon coated. if you want some as well, let me know the size and i'll contact Zun for you.
  4. looks like a scorpion exhaust, or a copy of it, don't know the seller so can't vouch for quality, if i were you i would do 1 of 2 things. 1. replace current system with new shiny one 2. get it repaired, a good place should be able to cut out the old pipe and weld in a new bit. if you go the shiny new route, then speak to CS as he does several cost effective replacements which are known to be good quality either the scorpion, K1 or K2, me personally if you just want a replacement and easy fit unit then the K2 is possibly best. if you want nuts out screamer of an exhaust the K1 scorpion is good, but have heard several fitment issues, not impossible to fit, but occasionally need some manhandling
  5. coming on nicely, i like the idea, i'm very similiar, always got to have something on the go. if it helps as a reccommendation, when you come to redo the control area maybe to use a sheet of acrylic, especially as if you ask me nicely i can cut out all the holes and fixing points with my laser cutter at work, i'd just need a good working drawing so i could put it into cad for you before i cut it. if that helps let me know.
  6. not far from me at the moment, down in suffolk. got back form france doing similar miles at the weekend, sadly had to do it in the golf, but a nice drive anyway. glad your back for a bit, have fun
  7. makes sense, i know the falkens are a softer side wall, the stones are a stiffer wall, i'll probably go for about 40-45 i suppose if i go 45 and its too hard i can always let some out down to 40.
  8. just out of interest, those going on sunday, what are you setting your tyre pressures at. most cars have 2 pressure settings, normal and heavily ladened, but the Zed only has 1 which is 35 psi all round. the organizers say to inflate your tyres to there higher setting, or is it to just over inflate them generally? are we talking 2, 3 4, 5 PSI I'm not sure and could do with the advice.
  9. that is a c0ck of a dealership you were dealing with, admittedly i bought mine with out driving it
  10. the best small businesses are built on word of mouth, if you build up a good reputation and have a solid customer base then you'll have a business, especially if its a nice sideline business. its not like your leaving your day job to do this, and if business picks up you could always higher another person to man the shop while your out. is it a huge expense to go ltd.?
  11. personally i would go for it, maybe use the price as method of showing your new in, that way you can explain that you don't change the same as a professional detailer as your more semi proffessional. but to be honest all detailers have to start somewhere. if you have a good and happy customer base already and you've done a good job, then why not. yes they are more expensive cars, but at the end of the day, all your working on is the paint, and there isn't a huge difference in paint between cars apart from the thickness, and the conent which alters the colour or adds flip paint etc or metal flecks. if that car company let the apprentices near ferrari's and they were useless its unlikely your going to do any damage.
  12. which one are you secretly hankering after most, the evo or the scooby?
  13. is this going to be your new track toy or something for joe?
  14. those wheels look amazing, very jealous
  15. Zun sports just got back to me "Hi Richard. Thank you for your enquiry,we can supply you with mesh 100cm X 25cm Black Nylon Coated at a Cost of £52.50 + VAT = £60.38. Due to holiday period delivery would be 14 working days. Payment would be required by Credit Card on placing of order,if you wish to proceed please"
  16. not for 18's there not
  17. Two years on and ours looks good still fair enough have just emailed Zunsport, to see if they have any anodised woven going spare.
  18. a full set of ultracs for £480 isn't bad, had a look on there myself. very competitive. might have to give them a ring.
  19. the bronze looked good, think it might suit the azure well, bit liket eh old clio Williams set up
  20. http://www.wovenwire.co.uk/cargrilles.htm this company do stainless woven, just tryng to see if i can find it anodised. reason i would anodise over paint is that paint will chip off especially off stainless. and within 12-18 months runs the risk of looking tatty and needing a respray.
  21. No way is that pricing anywhere near correct: T1Rs more than the PS2s?! No chance, they'd be cheaper than all of them. Maybe R1Rs or 888s, but not T1Rs. Someone from Camskill have made an almighty balls-up there. Taken off Black circles where poss... depends where you buy em, but the general gist still stands...tyres can be put into categories in terms of how much u willing to spend, how much grip or durability is important to you.. My last post didn't work, as the network dropped out, but the jist of what i was saying was that the falkens and toyos are just mid range tyres. and the rest were UHP (ultra high performance) tyres. as for the ultracs, was that price for the standard ultracs or the ssantas as there is a big difference in performance on the ssantas. will have to go and check them out.
  22. i'm going to try and find some woven stainless
  23. man, i wanna go
  24. i'm looking for a sheet of black anodised mesh as well for my nismo bumper. the zun sport ones are good, but they are made to measure the standard bumper and only the facelift version i think, and i think Ho, like me, just wants sheet of mesh
