  2. what about touching cloth Weave warrior trill addicts Carbon User No Trouble
  3. I think I prefer the Varis lip on standard rather than the V2.... Gimme a shout if you upgrade and I will have the lip off you if you want to sell it i think austin 350z had a silver standard bumper, with carbon lip, and air duct all fitted and was looking at doing a swap if that helps.
  4. I think the carbon footprint is the best. Your logo could be one footprint like you see in the sand, but just with a carbon pattern to it. Could have it easily stamped into your products. Or I could even run you up a load of little vinyls with a logo on for you to add to your products.
  5. I was only really asking how it was done
  6. if its just a bog standard bolt and its a 6mm thread then its an M6 bolt, but i have a feeling thats not right, and with out seeing a pic i can't tell you. does it have a square or a dome head, is it hexagonal in head shape or round? is the outside of the bolt head knurled? is the internal of the bolt an allan key fixing?
  7. last time i heard his bonnet was being stored at the chilli's have you sold your carbon bonnet then?
  8. i've pm'd you with the details, just noticed your other threads, it seems i missed out on there, loads of bits going up gfor grabs, i go away for 12 days and all the good stuff goes
  9. even if it did, kinetix covered them with a lifetime warrenty so you just send it back and get a new one for free
  10. do you have any other covered things lying around? i got to pick your brains anyways as i have a little pet project I'm about to embark on.
  11. ok point taken, leave the tipex pens for writing mistakes
  12. i'd love to go up to scot land some time, i know its beautiful up there, but haven't had the opportunity yet. would have joined the hoon, but i have to work that week. am also impressed that you type with a scottish accent.
  13. the TPS is linked to the intake. the butterfly valve can occassionally get a bit sticky. hence the throttle opening and staying open etc, might just need a new itake section, the bit that attatches to the plenum before it goes into the intake.
  14. cheers martin, might have to make up some new brackets in the workshop. i'll try it with out to start with and see how i get on. if its not happy then i'll fabricate up some new ones. should be able to work out the sizes form the pic if i have to go down that route.
  15. what phone are you connecting too?
  16. ah interesting martin, i have the exact same top mounts into the bonnet, but i don't have the bottom mounts into the car. maybe mine is a different set. should be fine going direct into the body as the screw fixing fits perfectly.
  17. sounds like the throttle position sensor
  18. i always remember the big performance super cars having it etc. never remember it on cheap cars. anyone got a link to the one on PH with it
  19. it was more which way round the damper went i.e body to the bonnet as you said, just worked that out, just need to know which side of the bracket it attaches to i.e the side nearest the engine or the side nearest the outside of the engine bay, (if that makes sense) i think its the outside just i tried to fit them before i went away (admittedly had only one fitted and the damper was on upside down, but i couldn't get the bonnet to shut, it was like i had wedged it open with a stick. i may have been being too gentle with it. i'll try a re fit and put them on the right way and see if it makes a difference.
  20. High Guys, i have Ian's bonnet dampers, but have no fitting instructions, have a rough idea of how they fit, just want to see some pics of them fitted to make sure i have brackets the right way round, and which way up to put the damper etc.
  21. sounds more like the throttle posisiton sensor and your butterfly valve is sticking. try a throttle pedal reset, i think the instructions are on the forum somewhere. also try an ECU reset, might just need to wipe its memory that you haven't driven her in a while
