  1. is that not a contradiction in terms? a y pipe connects 2 pipes into 1. a true dual keeps both pipes separate.
  2. i just got told off by my wife for talking too loud. been on the phone to husky and she had told me 3 times she cold hear me upstairs. she finally gave in after an hour and came down to moan. have swapped to the computer for silent chatting
  3. i can get the 99 ron stuff at my tesco at martlesham, but i still get the BP 97 ron as i get the nectar points, am i sad. at the end of the day tesco, shell saisburies, texaco etc all get their fule from the same depot, its just what and how they mix it.
  4. i think if you ran the K1 with and no bungs its something like 110 dbs with the bungs in its about 90dbs if i remember correctly form Ekona doing a db check. as for adding a y pipe, it should change the note, but shouldn't add that much to noise level. if you add a decat pipe i gather it makes it extremely raspy and not in a good way, so you might want to go here a couple first. as for headers, a lot of work for not a lot of gain.

  9. lol i'm really liking that. as for house arties in suffolk i've hidden cameras and microphones in all the rooms. not taking the zed sadly as its not big enough to take everything ( more to do with fitting stuff in on the way back, like booze ). but maybe in october we'll go back to france but in the zed.

  11. seen them before, i don't think you'll get a perfect weave, especially at that price, but they'll be more than suitable for an engine bay.

In about 7 hours I'm off on my holidays, to sunny france, will be staying about 20 miles from the swiss border and lake geneva. am really going to miss everyone as i don't know when i'll next get my posting fix on here. have fun without me and don't do anything i wouldn't do. am going to stay up till 3 am when we leave as I'm driving the first leg to Dover. got a house sitter looking after the place so I'm going to spend the whole time worrying there going to use our place for parties.
  13. i'd fit the scorpion, but keep the oem one in the garage, so if you sell up at some point you can return the car to stock, and it'll havea good exhaust on it. average life span of an OEM exhaust is about 5 years.
  14. just looking at those GRP side wing panels that you sanded back, what did you use to do that with. only ask as i have a GRP body kit that needs sanding back and i kinda want to take it back to the gel coat. did you use an orbital, or was it all by hand and if so what grade wet and dry were you using?

  16. your cars definitely given me some ideas. i think i will be spraying my wheels at some point, although i would love some new alloys, its just too much at the moment with other things to pay for. so what I'm going to do is wait till i need new tyres then re-spray the wheel s and fit the tyres at the same time. should mean i can get them powder coated. but I'm going to alter them slightly, I'm going to get them to smooth out the square dots on each spoke to make them flush. picks of yours want me to sort my body kit out quicker as well. its sat in the garage waiting. and the money saved on not getting ne wwheels should mean i have cash left to do the spoiler, V2 stylee.

  18. i still stand by my 2nd post on here about half way down the first page. resell it but advertise it for the correct model its like most good performance parts, people always want them, that will sell on no problem, especially if its already been painted.

  20. you may find he's going to be awkward on this. other option is stick it back up on ebay, if it doesn't fit your sons civic, it must have come from a nother model. find out and sell it for the correct car, and as painted.

  22. Yes i've told him to do that, as there's nothing to lose in trying. He's already had it sprayed as well........ can't believe someone didn't test fit before spraying
  23. only way to find out is to contact him, tell hinm goods weren't sold as advertised, you want to send the item back and get a refund, if this doesn't work, try ebay.
  24. i'm following a similair path, got my true dual exhaust fitted, got my typhoon CAI, am waiting on a custom built CF plenum with built in spacer, just got to decide if i bother with HFC's as my exhaust is already dual the air flow is pretty good already, don't know if i need HFC's. then i think i'm off to abbey for a retune.
