  4. I was kinda wondering too... nope i've had people ask before how to fit them, so while doing fakeindians i put the guide together. if you don't need it then its not an issue, but some people don't always know.
  5. I did it a while ago with a different CF vinyl, never took any pics, well non that i can find on here, but i did the rear strut brace at the same time viewtopic.php?f=26&t=21548&hilit=carbon+vinyl It has a more gloss carbon finish than the di-noc, but its not as easy to work with when you fancy a new challenge try skinning them in CF viewtopic.php?f=9&t=27928&hilit=+b+pillars good effort though. i do like the di-noc. definite good choice i'm playing around with it at the moment as well viewtopic.php?f=26&t=33450&hilit=carbon+vinyl+di+noc+experiment its got lots of potential, will be doing my proper jobs with it soon. Just out of interest, would it not be a good idea to post up each section you do in single threads, its all well and nice to have one jumbo mod thread but as it grows more and more stuff will get lost in it, or be hard to find. you could cut and paste out the bits that other people haven't done yet and add them to the guide section.

  13. the worst or the best is difficult to decide as it happened at the same time. was driving my mums old metro and it was about a year after i had passed my test. had seen the hump back bridge coming up and thought; i'll do what my dad used to do give it some beans and give my passenger that feeling of your stomach moving up towards your throat. have to say i gave it to much beans and actually got air off the bridge the crunch on landing didn't sound brillant as the suspension rebounded and the front bumper met the tarmac. sadly that wasn't the worst bit; as i didn't know the area i didn't know that directly after the bridge was an almost hairpin bend. how the car stayed on the road i still don't know but my mate went very pale and i was so tense you could haqve folded a 50p piece in half if it had been placed between my butt cheeks. to this day i never told my mum about that. that poor car took a real beating
  14. Just made it home. Am knackered, but it was a cracking weekend. Thanks again to husky for the hospitality, the spare bed, the pizza and the copious amounts of booze. Tarmac and fakeindian it was great meeting both of you, and it was a good laugh last night. I would also like to add it was a completely hetrosexual night. No gayness here.
  15. Front wheel frenzy, lol blew his pistons through the bonnet. That's gunna be expensive.
  16. shed loads of torque, probably enough to spin the earth faster when you accelerate
  17. that was buring shed loads of oil not a bad noise, but it does sound like a big rig yank lorry

  19. i was never in the bushes, but i did feel a tit with everyone looking at us and the fact we all had silver zeds. i think people must have thought we were a right bunch of nobba's. i wish i had brought my brown paper bag with eye holes cut out Right back to the beer
  20. i think my next car will have to be orange or yellow
  21. glad to see you go them on, you'll have to come back and add another review after you've done a few thousand miles
