  4. im sure we did this already, where did that list go? yep been done and i do believe gt4 zed has even guestimated on it as well
  5. your doing the right thing by researching. what i will add is scab a couple of rides out with people to hear the exhausts under load. mine sounds very different at 4500 rpm in a car park to 4500 in 3rd doing lots of speed
  6. have you noticed that they've kept the diesel price down. i think its deliberate to avoid this exact thing. so only the petrol drinkers get hit the hardest.
  7. especially if you meshed out the grille first before fitting. could even get it debadged at the same time
  8. thats a bargain concidering thats about £450 worth of gear inc the front bumper.
  9. lots of posts already, jist of the conversation so far is that the circuitry in the UK keyfob doesn't fit any nissan folding keyfob. search for carbon coops, he is currently developing a standard keyfob in carbon, with the long term plan to build a folding version
  10. or fit a new style for you
  11. all fuel in the UK comes from i think 9 different refineries, might have the number slightly wrong but their aren't many.
  12. yeah when opec get involved its a double whammy of rate rises i use dto work at sainsburys filling station when i was at college it paid my my drink habit
  13. scorpion FTW i don't have one but at the moment thats where i'd put my cash
  14. +1 on what stew said, this is government issue, profit made on fuel especially at supermarkets is nominal they do it to get you in and spend money at the store. you top up, and while your at it you go get some extras at the same time. i can't remember where i read it, but i'm sure i read somewhere that one of the fuel companies made more money on sandwiches and snacks than they did on fuel. i hate to say this but the french have the right idea having tolls on the motorways. but to do that we'd need to scrap road tax. then maybe i wouldn't mind paying so much for my fuel.
  15. i'm not disagreeing with your opinion just general consensus is that mixing front and back will lead to different grip characteristics across the car. i haven't tracked the Vreds yet, but find the tyres better in the wet than the re040's i agree that the grip on them isn't as good as say the MPS2's which apparently are similiar to the REO50's in grip level, but i do find the biggest benefit of the Vred's is that they are very communicative. i find that with the "tail out" you know exactly what the car is doing. have a search my mate did a tyre comparison of them against several others he had driven on the Zed. i can only comment on other brands from having them on other cars. for instants i found the toyos very soft walled and got horrible tyre roll on them with hard cornering. I found the Eagle f1's very good, but an extremely soft compound. rough terrain gravel extra used to shred them up. falkens weren't great for track work as they turn to blue tack after several laps and require regular cool down. (that one was the opinion of someone else who had tracked the zed with them on) i think it comes down to bang for your buck and in its price range its one of the better options. but thats personal opinion. others have come from falkens to the vreds and notice a big improvement over them. i must admit i run mine at about 37 psi to stiffen them up abit more. also my car needs an alignment adjustment as it doesn;t feel like its riding right and think it will track better once its been tweaked.
  16. first problem requires the window reset procedure
  17. to be honest video clips are great but they are inaccurate. what sounds good on a video can end up sounding earth shatteringly loud and drone like a bitch. defo some good setup choices you picked there, all good options. best way to decide is to get to some meets. your best bet is wales as you'll have the biggest selection in the country to choose from. i run the older Invidia true dual setup. am yet to find out exactly how good it is compared to others. but its all relative. depending on your combination of mods. the abbey dyno sheets are a good starting point, they show the gains with an uprev remap and the mods used. yes there are difference between exhausts, different bores, different setups, gases mix/don't mix, x pipes/no x pipes, the variations are quite wide. as said in before its all personal choice. yes their are difference, but what you make in performance, you might sacrifice in noise comfort on long journeys. custom built does off the opportunity to fine tune it to your own liking. personally if you like the bassani, then look at what carbon coops is running, its a custom build and does sound good.
  18. Midnight tonight is correct. I got screwed over by that 5 years ago when I bought my first house. The stamp duty was raised not long after I bought. £3500 down the pan. Thanks Labour. yeah i lost £2500 to the same theiving gits
  19. thats me jiggered then, oh 2 out of 3 isn't so bad. shame i don't have a salary of £150K
  20. so your running a mixed setup, that might be part of your issue.
  21. i would say its better than a kick in the balls, but to be honest with the amount they already coin out of us and how expensive it is in comparison to the actual oil price. i'd rather have the kick in the balls thank you very much. they could have at least postponed it until after the election.
  22. indicators were an optional extra on BMW's nice to see someone helped ut though
