just to add a foot note to this... for the money and compared to its competition, you won't get better than a vredestein ultrac sessanta honest

meh! he already knew what he wanted, recommending something new wasn't what he was looking for. if he'd asked what tyres to put on, then i would have told him to get the sessantas

  8. cheers shire, thought as much, good to know saves me ringing around, who you with, mines due for renewal in a month or 2
  9. need to see it in the flesh but i think i like it as it reminds me of the supra concept. (an aquired taste, but one i like) the more of the kitted ones i see the more its pulling me round. what i don't like is the fact that ontop of buying one i'd need to spend a small fortune buying exhausts and body kits to get it to the standard you'd want it at.
  10. if its switched in the engine bay, i can't see a problem, i'll ring my insurers tomorrow if i get time and let you know what they say.
  11. why would it not be declared on your insurance. its the same as any mod, if you don't decalre it your insurance is invalid simples

  14. Following on from the last GB viewtopic.php?f=33&t=32587 several people showed an interest in the system, its a bit of a ball ache to organise but if enough people are interested i'll do it again. to get the prices we had before i'll really need 10 people, but if we only get say, 5 i can still do it, but i'm not sure i can get as much off. so will be down to some banter and haggling with these lads to see what i can wangle. So to start the list off i'll add the names of the interested parties from the other thread. £110 (may fluctuate slightly depending on exchange rates) should inc all P+P charges etc etc. 1. Tarmac 2. 15. well done ladies on winning, look forward to seeing pics and well done to the mods on a cracking competition
  16. thats a bodyshop job, looks like the top of the spoiler is cracking away from the base that holds it to the boot. had it on the spoiler i bought a long split leading all the way down the leading edge, the bolt fixing section was actually seperate from the spoiler base. this was before spraying so i had it all repaired and its all good.
  17. if there is enough interest i'll look at running a second GB
  18. been looking around and this looks to be the cheapest one available anywhere. excellent price Lee
  19. that one still need to be worked out. to be honest for now i'll just have it on the fob and look at changing/modifiying later
  20. re bennetts comment this isn't designed to fold flat at a set speed, that particular plate is designed specifically to do that to avoid speed cameras. and this plate, you'd need to be dismantling th eplate to spot the difference. from the front it looks like any other bolted on plate. as long as your not breaking the law by driving with it folded there isn't an issue. my local bobby said it was fine to have it sat in the window. all they care about is being able to use the ANPR and speed camera's so if your not using it while driving how the hell are they going to know. considering i was driving without a plate for 3 months as it kept falling off i never got stopped once, and i live right next to and have to go past the suffolk constabularly hq.
  21. from the people i have spoken to in the know, as long as your plate is on display when on a UK highway while on the move then you are staying within the law. if you drive with this down then you are breaking the law. the only way the police would know your numberplate did this is if you were using it illegally on the road.
