  1. i think stew and a few others are the exception to the rule, when your dealing with feet of snow and not inches its a different ball game,
  2. rare rims is possibly your best option, they do a copy called boost i think that looks similiar to the rays.

i like the concaveness of them, as for the design i don't know, for me i think i'd class them as a grower, at the moment i don't mind them, but if i see them enough times i think i'll really like them. possibly best seen in real life to truly appreciate them.
  4. that i like, shame it probably cost about 10k for it money i don't have
  5. any nice new shiney pics of it fitted?
  6. without being rude, alot of people don;t know how to. i'm not just talking about the zed, but a lot of owners of RWD cars don't know how to drive it in the snow, saying that after last year watching most FWD people don't know how to drive in snow. the amount of people who don't know how to use their gears or the clutch astounded me. people still tail gated, and used their brakes as if it was wa sunny day.
  7. as a side note, i wouldn't worry about losing the OEM BT, sell the module on for about £80 to help fund the new head unit. you won;t need it, and the HU BT is genereally a lot better.
  8. your biggest issue is getting the original satnav to re intergrate with the new head unit. the image will still work, but you'll have no sound.
  9. i've driven my performance cars all year round always have always will, its a car its meant to be driven i'd get bored in a shed, thats why i bought the performance car in the first place, don't see the point of owning it and then leaving it sat in the garage, especially when road tax isn't cheap etc.
  10. until temps are regular below 0 i don't see the point of garaging a car.
  11. its a good solid starting point
  12. basic rule of bodykits you get what you pay for if it cost peanuts to buy, it will cost a fortune to make it fit and look any good in a bodyshop if it a fortune to buy, it will cost peanuts to fit. put those on a sliding scale and you get the idea. shine sits somewhere in the middle of both of those terms, so not to expensive and won;t cost much to get it on.
  13. i have though in preperation gone round and lubricated with silicone all my door seals, and re Screen protected the glass to amke the water bead off, and re waxed the car today.
  14. why put it to bed so early? we've had 1 frost and thats been about it. I am though in suffolk so possibly warmer than tup norf. if you like the car so much get a spare set of alloys and put some winter tyres on then drive the thing all year round.
  15. yes to the frustration of GT4 owners, they put them on loads of cars, personally i think the rays are better, and probably still the lightest factory standard wheel for the zed.

  18. the whole lot is integrated, if you bin the bose, you'll lose sound to the nav. speak to R35LEE, he used to repair the Bose units.
  19. he'll still be playing on his sexbox
