I'll give a +1 to Horsham, I always drive down from the Midlands. Worth every single penny, most knowledgeable and hospitable guys in the game. To be honest the money you spend on petrol is recouped on the fact that they will get the job done right the first time around and the fun driving back on the one motorway without average speed cameras (M40). Take it for a remap and service, maybe even an alignment too if your budget stretches. Make sure you pick people's brains about the maps to put on the car too and what order! (can't mess with the maps after they've been put on from what I've been told)

Floating discs look epic! Like you say, not here to get drawn into arguments. The aesthetics of nice discs will hold a person's attention for that little longer. My advice is, measure up the alloys and if they are OK with the bigger calipers then get the K Sport set. The stock Akebono calipers are amazing but the headache of finding pads deep enough or discs small enough will drive you crazy. Get the size wrong and the pads won't sit on the discs all the way leaving a ring of surface rust behind and throwing off your hunt for aesthetics. If you don't decide to get the whole set, then before you fit the floating discs on, get the disc bells and measure up where the surface rust ring will be from the hub and paint it. Obviously don't go crazy and paint the discs but don't be a fool and let the ring set in else it'll annoy you. Won't be easy sorting it out after the fact either. Good luck!

Z1 aluminium subframe collars Z1 urethane transmission mount Z1 urethane differential bushes Fitted all 3, on my initial drive back, I can say the following Noise. Has increased, worst of it is at idle when in neutral, you can hear more of that clunky transmission (would definitely worry someone who doesn't know about the charactistic of the Zs clutch). As the revs increase, the exhaust tends to swallow the increase in noise. 3k rpm is the cross over when the noises from the exhaust exceed. Higher gears don't seem to be any more noisy. Shifting from 1st to 2nd is much easier/smoother but does sound mechanical. Vibration. Has marginally increased, though its very very faint. Don't feel anything in the seat but the gear stick does wobble at higher revs. Personally don't notice it as my music is loud and full of bass. Harshness. Zero increase. I do feel the smoothness in the gear changes and when the engine opens up actually makes me think the harshness has decreased. Cornering feels smoother and acceleration is not so jumpy. Overall, the car feels more planted. Traction control doesn't make the car bounce anymore, it feels a lot smoother (this was in the rain hitting a sweeping corner at 40mph). The acceleration is much more smoother, feels like everything goes to the rear wheels and the tail/wheel hop has reduced drastically. I'll drop another update when the weather brightens up and I get some serious miles in. Assume things will soften/quieten in due course.

Managed to get diff bushes, transmission mount and the subframe collars all sorted in 6 hours! Always enjoy going down to Newbury and seeing the guys, very knowledgeable and get the job done without faf or overcharging. Plenty of tea on offer and let me set my laptop up so I could work remotely! Car sorted in one day and without wasting a holiday allowance Will be back soon for my P3!

Mehhh too many NIMBYs are going to stop the government from making more roads. Think we need some better ideas on how to drive from one town to the other, even if it means upsetting a few people and slapping new roads down. Typical UK problem, we tried to please too many people and just upgrade "old" infrastructure to become modern. SMART motorways definitely weren't worth the hassle and it's unfortunate that so many people have died, been hurt or had near misses.

Looks so damn lush bro! You gonna be at the usual car shows this year? Wanna see the beauty in person. Keep up the photos

This is what I'm led to believe. Otherwise it's all 2 way diffs ready for the track which is very overkill for me.

Not much in the forum on this for pretty obvious reasons but have to ask nonetheless. Has anyone ever fitted a NISMO diff to their base or GT 370z? Whilst I'm looking at getting the diff bushes replaced, want to read up on experiences where owners have either 1. Retro fitted a NISMO diff 2. Upgraded their diff 3. Gone the final drive route

Garage Size Questions - based in L36

My friend pushes his car into his garage, leaves some chocks in place to stop it rolling back out/hitting the garage door. Needs must and all that. -

If you end up buying and fitting at Tarmac, keep me posted. I'm looking to replace my Cobra HFC and exhaust and probably will be via Tarmac. I could offer you a good deal on my exhaust and HFC, if you decide on the 2nd hand route.

I'd be interested if you managed to find a better way around the audio out? If you've got any pics of the (back of the) unit @StormtrooperZ then please post them up.

Question is when and where does the modding start?

What will I remember the 2010s for? Skinny jeans. Hipsters. Beards and moustaches. House, dance and trance. Social media. Smart homes. Muhammad Ali passing away. Politics, lots of it.

These recent photos have piqued my interest. Looks like a step in the right direction for me.

Any recommendations on upholstery? I need to get my boot professionally tidied up after removing all the excess and rearranging the subwoofer.
