  1. Scary article and vid. Hence: - My in-depth research into the exhaust mod and potential fumes - Consideration of where the fumes can enter the cabin (mod is at the backbox) - How to minimise such an event (don't thrash it, don't idle for long periods of time while stationary, windows open) - Extent based upon the location of the leak in the system (after cats) - Intention to have a CO detector in the car On that note, is there any reason why cars don't come with a cabin CO detector from factory?
  2. Best thing to do is switch it up, that way your body constantly has to adapt. Always used to think so, but never had any issues not using clips. As long as you keep the bar reasonably horizontal, they aren't gonna come off. Just double check they are fully pushed on before starting a set. The loss of dignity from getting trapped at the gym with people watching may just be worse than being trapped at home Yeah, I'm using that sort of dumbbell weight for strength stuff. Never used the kick up technique, I just hold them on my thighs, lean back, and bring them up to my chest (so I start with them low rather than high).
  3. I find that lighter weights are actually more wavey. When there is some good resistance everything tends to settle down, just never feels quite as good as barbell. I think I must have weird wrists cos I can't do barbell curls for shite. it's just uncomfortable and hurts. Even with an ez curl bar it doesn't feel right unless the angle is perfect, but that's hard to maintain as it wants to rotate. Hammer curl bar or dumbbells are fine though. Have a similar issue with rows and pull-ups (or lat pull down) with certain hand positions.
  4. Depends if you had one of these bad boys for trading your Pokemons. Was required if you wanted a Gengar.
  5. Just meant that they wouldn't be eligible for the new 6 points + £200 fine. Would be assessed separately.
  6. Ignoring the law on "proper control" and "due care and attention" for a minute as they don't give the instant 6 points and a fine... Would that mean an mp3 player or gameboy would be fine? Also what counts as a mount. Does it need some accredited mark, or are the sticky pads acceptable?
  7. What about a sneeze... I live in fear of a potential sneezing fit causing an accident. That or cramp...
  8. Paper ones are actually supposed to be the best for filtration. Others sacrifice filtration for more airflow, but the trade-off is minimal. Re-usability and sound fx are the main benefits.
  9. £3000 might be right if you ask WeRobAnyCar.com In part 2 we find out that he didn't sell it, instead he is going FI
  10. What I'm not sure of is whether you can use your phone if it's mounted to the dash. I've seen it said that it's allowed, and tbh it's only as much of a distraction as trying to mess with the stereo / AC. And what if you have done a tablet dash install???
  11. Are they buying a 350Z? Would be a perfect car example of how to shop well for less
  12. Only seen xscotteex's in person. Looks great
  13. Can highly recommend these. Quality is spot on, but most importantly they look snazzy as owt.
  14. Was mentioned in another thread, but not got its own thread yet, so no roasting of the pee. Can confirm MB is a nob and I only put up with him for EC and proper content.
  15. I assume it's referring to aftermarket lights. Here initially Summarised here.
  16. And these are supposed to be less distracting than a mobile phone?
  17. There are a few other HFC cars leased in other parts of the world.

  19. Easy, just blowtorch it (off the car). How hot you get it will affect the resulting colour (from low to high): slight brass tint deep bronze purple-pink dark blue light blue silver
