  1. Insurance can choose to charge extra after running their own checks. There are many accident damaged and repaired cars hpi clear. So worth inspecting very closely but if the retail is for a normal 18 plate is 23k then a CAT S with structural damage id say 15k or even less. Its structurally been damaged so may never drive the same as an original or have the same safety or rigidity.
  2. Yeah its a manual didnt see that part. I thought it had an Electronic brake with Auto gearbox. Its actually a Manual. Not sure if its hand brake is mechanical or electronic. If its electronic I stand by what I said. Ofcourse a mechanical handbrake can fail or it could come out of gear disengaged and roll. I rather trust a mechanical system than an electronic e brake if it has one!
  3. 9:45 and replay at 11:07 Driver left the car in gear and E Brake Engaged. Should have fully locked the wheel maybe. When I first saw this E brake tech in the Audi A5 I was miffed. What is wrong with traditional handbrake and steel cable? Is it too outdated or too cool for school? Cables could snap, still benefit from being mechanically in gear and observing old school hill safety with the wheels on lock. I get people saying my wheels are sticking out
  4. Not sure how I missed this one. I think 9 years will do that. I had mine for a year and as you saw on IG was just depression without it. This was kind of a suprise though. Usually the more comfortable ride would be a permanent path to take.
  5. https://www.topgear.com.ph/drives/car-reviews/2021-nissan-370z-review-a4354-20201104-lfrm Philippines only just got the car. Here a review from their local Top Gear
  6. Good mileage. My brother got one with similar miles from Glasgow. 5 hour Journey. Yep the best examples are usually far. Ive got a Nismo 370 myself. Welcome to forums!
  7. Isnt Super Unleaded % ethanol mix?. Apparently older cars are more resistant to fuel mixes and impurities such that they can take petrol and diesel mixtures as long as the wrong fuel isnt high concentration. Well I heard that from a mechanic. Do people have to rebuild their engines to take E10? Are new cars designed to use E10 though? My colleague was telling me about E100 in Brazil. Looks like pure water vapour and recycled misc materials. If they are pushing these alternatives what about the 2030 combustion deadline. Most people wont bother converting their engines to run these new bio fuels and will the new cars just be called hybrids to get away with making ice beyond 2030 Running on E85 E100 etc?
  8. There was a company in Germany converting GT Roadsters for a round figure to the concept Nismo Roadster. Not cheap at all. Could be a nice project and even more unique!
  9. Got this from NewNissanZ. These might be guesstimates, but whoever allowed them to put the car in-game delivered some estimated numbers! The Nissan 400Z's horsepower number might have been revealed thanks to its addition on Project Cars 3.According to the game it has 331 kW (443.8 HP) and weighs 1,475 kg (3251.8 pounds). For comparison the 2020 370Z produces 332 horsepower and has a curb weight of 1,512 kilograms (3,333 pounds) and the 2021 Supra (inline 6) has 382 horsepower and weighs 1542.22 kg (3400 lbs) The Nismo may get 455-475hp not necessarily lighter. The M2 Competition with 430hp has around 406 ft lbs. Apparently there will be noise restrictions in Japans cities. So a hybrid GTR may be a thing one day.
  10. https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/features/middle-management-revisiting-renault-clio-v6 Great timing
  11. I have the square indentation ones from 350z logo design. Need to put them on the 370
  12. I didn't get to drive it enthusiastically. As I was still a nervous new driver but I was a passenger and the first GTi mark 4 tried it. Ate him. The pulled up looking shocked and stormed off. Also was a passenger in an hour long drive to South London through central. What a car. If the new Renaults could offer a similar experience that would be cool but seems like an era thing. Renault novelty has kind of worn off. Emissions just wont allow anything short of a turbo or hybrid. Hence Renault - Lotus going the Electric route.
  13. very young im 35...while i like tech stuff nothing beats the older cars. I remember when the r34 gtr was £15,000 around 13 years ago. Before the time my older brother bought the 182 cup brand new discounted, me and my uncle saw the V6 Clio. I had to tell my brother maybe he should have got a V6 clio. That was over 14 years ago I think. At the time they were a bit more expensive. As a new driver insurance would have killed me as the skylines were not deemed classics yet. I drove the 182 clio, the suspension brand new is very good and the car goes. The seating position is much like the GR Yaris. Van like.
  14. Yep and I remember the supercharged Clio with sequential shifter from 14 years ago. Over 500k views. Just like the R34 i regret not using my Uni money to buy one when they were cheap
  15. Im not far from Beaconsfield/Uxbridge side. Its just me and 1 other 370 Nismo I think. Mostly Germans here. Its good to see other Zeds since I never get to see mine on the move
  16. do you think its possible to put a smaller plate on the central grey lip at the bottom of the bumper? Maybe glued on
  17. Im in greater London fortunately 15 minutes from 35+ miles of country lanes. Welcome to the forums!
  18. Just make a tinny plate.... The grill is still very square I give it 3 years this car will be 30k in Japan. I think Dark Grey, Black, Blue and White could work
  19. Fair enough. 400 Chirons is a lot for a niche market tbh considering the cost I can see the appeal of trophy/cup/limited edition/performance hatchbacks like the Clio V6, Mégane Sport, VXR, Focus ST/RS. The proposed Golf 400R from a few years back cancelled because of dieselgate. Renault have a wide audience in Europe but its about affordability
  20. I wouldn't swap. The depreciation is crazy. Only Renault think its worth that much. These dealers never buy their cars back if you need to get rid and I'm guessing its just as slow a seller. Go for a test drive but dont swap it. Aerial Parts should be similar but you never know with Renault
  21. Theres a guy in Wembley with a Bugatti Veyron who had aftermarket rims that got his tyres changed at Wembley tyres. He took issue with people asking about the rumours of nitrogen and only going to Bugatti to get any work done. A case of each to their own in regards to tyre changes. Im sure most people arent bothered by using special gas, special services or special tyres since they wont be exceeding 20 mph in London. Use protective rubber and be careful
