How low will this have to go for you guys to be semi tempted...
GranTurismoEra replied to hmale4yu's topic in Other Cars
I didn't get to drive it enthusiastically. As I was still a nervous new driver but I was a passenger and the first GTi mark 4 tried it. Ate him. The pulled up looking shocked and stormed off. Also was a passenger in an hour long drive to South London through central. What a car. If the new Renaults could offer a similar experience that would be cool but seems like an era thing. Renault novelty has kind of worn off. Emissions just wont allow anything short of a turbo or hybrid. Hence Renault - Lotus going the Electric route. -

very young im 35...while i like tech stuff nothing beats the older cars. I remember when the r34 gtr was £15,000 around 13 years ago. Before the time my older brother bought the 182 cup brand new discounted, me and my uncle saw the V6 Clio. I had to tell my brother maybe he should have got a V6 clio. That was over 14 years ago I think. At the time they were a bit more expensive. As a new driver insurance would have killed me as the skylines were not deemed classics yet. I drove the 182 clio, the suspension brand new is very good and the car goes. The seating position is much like the GR Yaris. Van like. -

Yep and I remember the supercharged Clio with sequential shifter from 14 years ago. Over 500k views. Just like the R34 i regret not using my Uni money to buy one when they were cheap -

Theres one clio v6 local to me, not many around. -
do you think its possible to put a smaller plate on the central grey lip at the bottom of the bumper? Maybe glued on
-
Just make a tinny plate.... The grill is still very square I give it 3 years this car will be 30k in Japan. I think Dark Grey, Black, Blue and White could work

Fair enough. 400 Chirons is a lot for a niche market tbh considering the cost I can see the appeal of trophy/cup/limited edition/performance hatchbacks like the Clio V6, Mégane Sport, VXR, Focus ST/RS. The proposed Golf 400R from a few years back cancelled because of dieselgate. Renault have a wide audience in Europe but its about affordability -

I wouldn't swap. The depreciation is crazy. Only Renault think its worth that much. These dealers never buy their cars back if you need to get rid and I'm guessing its just as slow a seller. Go for a test drive but dont swap it. Aerial Parts should be similar but you never know with Renault -

Theres a guy in Wembley with a Bugatti Veyron who had aftermarket rims that got his tyres changed at Wembley tyres. He took issue with people asking about the rumours of nitrogen and only going to Bugatti to get any work done. A case of each to their own in regards to tyre changes. Im sure most people arent bothered by using special gas, special services or special tyres since they wont be exceeding 20 mph in London. Use protective rubber and be careful -
got rid of the plint? Did you fill the holes?

They kept traditional flip buttons on the interior too to retain a classic feel. They could have gone with just an ipad. The equivalent is going to be the Mercedes EQV, EQC, EQE and upcoming EQS.... Infiniti were meant to be doing the same with the QX range as well as the Q30, Q50 and Q60 while the Skyline version remained Petrol or Petrol Hybrid. They got distracted for some reason. A bit slow to the party. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.motor1.com/news/492124/2022-mercedes-eqs-side-profile-teaser/amp/

Airflow Mods (Intake/Exhaust): Realistic Tune / Dyno Figures??
GranTurismoEra replied to CalvinPomfret's topic in Performance
good starting mods. I seen some people change the headers in US to free up the exhaust flow. Does anyone know if there are extra gains to be had from that? Sorry to hijack your thread mate. -
He Who Dares Rodney...V Cheap 370z With Cut Out Issue??....
GranTurismoEra replied to Karlp's topic in 370z Technical
you can get a 370 for 9-11k legit....lol or a 350z for less. That looks like a risk. May have been an Essex drift car in the past lol co part one is overpriced when you add in parts a labour -

Mannn carbon wheels. Well Nissan now claim to produce their own carbon fibre. Lets see how they incorporate it into the new cars. I think this car says dealer only on anything. Its a car a youtuber would buy or lend for the extra views. Would be cool to review it though. £52k thats a Cotswold/Yorkshire toy right there. They should include rifle storage and a cigar case. They are the only people able to buy it and not blink. Even though im not huge on Renault. They are trying with the Megane and Alpine. Just not sure if the market are ready to pay a premium for Renault. It even says dealer contribution of £11,000 so its really £63,000. you think theyll sell 30? -
The interior review was a bit dark couldn't see much. Will be a few years before can even think of getting this. The rumoured pricing is going to be high. Fortunately Japanese cars depreciate fast so we shall see. Id like to go to Japan and see it in the flesh and maybe test drive it. I really think they should angle the grill a bit. The rear diffuser section with the black gives it a hatchback look. Anything there has to be done right or it will look off. Having it black is ok until the aftermarket can come up with something better. Thats also where license plates will go. Due to the angle I think an extended M4 style lip would be better suited to the boot as opposed to a GT wing spoiler

What are the features, specs...Thats crazy money. Renault-Nissan are getting arrogant with their pricing of sports cars. £52,000 really?! -
-
I think it might just be orientation the grill might not be angular looking head on. Ill assume it is but even the current ZP looks a bit like that side on. Just the sides of the grill give the game away with the straight angle. I think they might do that for the Nismo version and a vent for brake cooling. Could also be an indentation like the current car. Aftermarket will make a killing. Id have been drawing up aftermarket bumpers already and kits to go on the rear

Mazda MX5 ND x Fiat 124 Spider x Abarth 124
GranTurismoEra replied to GranTurismoEra's topic in Other Cars
I bet the Monza is still louder than a muffler delete on the Fiat 124. Youtube content is somewhat limited for the Fiat 124 but Abarth has slightly more videos. Theres a guy that did a Tork tune, I think that exhaust sounds way too loud ruined by a burble map.
