  1. The 100k mentioned above was in reference to possible base R36 costs. £82k sounds like base price R35 PURE without premium extras. Your reply was a mish mash of different reponses lol. Ekona never mentioned price that was me referring to possible R36 costs! The 10 year period was mentioned by me as well in reference to previous models theyve released as well as the Z. No guarantees on anything obviously.
  2. R36 wont be £82000...I can gaurantee that. speculation or not...
  3. the nissan mechanic claimed it was put there for weight balance at the rear of the car lol
  4. I cant see it being less than £100,000+ and the Nismo version £170,000.....I think its in line with where Nissan are trying to get to in the market and so called inflation. They got a bit of hype coming off the back of the R35. The R36 will be around for 10 years after release. With all these amazing finance deals and packages im sure people who bought a fully specced My17 will be able to stretch to the new one lol. Those Porsches well, what can I say, they are a different class altogether and offer as close to the best driving experience you can get. Lightweight, powerful and even with the rear wheel drive versions perfect handling. But they keep iterating the weight factor as very important. Then you wonder what could have been if it was lighter
  5. It is to be fair for its size. Its couple of pounds lighter than the 350Z though which was 1570.. But ive never felt im going to lose control when I had mine. But i felt the weight hindering it a little bit. LOL this weight thing eh. The GT2RS is at 6:47. Ever since I saw that record Ive been thinking Nissan got their work cut out. The porsche is weighing 1400 KG roughly. Reducing weight is a quick fix, but there are other ways around it im sure. 4 wheel steering system, regenerative braking, more downforce, electric motor, carbon fibre and more carbon fibre
  6. Still trying to find that video, where the chief engineer mentions weight in regards to going Hybrid...if its going to end up 1850 KG etc with Hybrid tech then they might as well trial it and see how it does. Im no engineer but I have a feeling the weight is making it more stable. But affecting understeer. Which they probably wish to counter with 4 wheel steering system like the NSX?! Interesting! 1550 like the 370Z Nismo....Lol I cant see that ever happening We need to look imposing, maintain stability at high speeds and keep the box tradition.
  7. LOL i think most people are waiting for that ...people are saying its noot worth paying full wack for. If youre on Xbox Forza Horizon got a new game coming and its going to be just as good! Test Drive Unlimited 2 was great. i had that!
  8. Welcome to the forum! good scenery and good roads im sure. I only know about Malaga from football!
  9. Ive heard that mentioned. But with Hybrid set up it would be heavier than the NSX at more than1800 KG I reckon...i cant remember the guys name when I get home will put the link up. But things can change from beginning of the year till now. Maybe they are going that route
  10. Possibly according to Alfonso Albaisa. But the Lead Engineer spoke at a meet and greet months back in manchester and said they didnt know if they would go with Hybrid because of the added weight. They are also more likely to keep the boxy shape according to that alfonso guy. But hey ho whatever they decide im sure there'll be a queue of people ready to buy... Seems like they are undecided and speculation is flip flopping between hybrid and similar engine. Even 8 speed auto has been mentioned I think they should go for a supercar shape. But i doubt they will change the box shape at all.
  11. Very nice indeed. Sold mine in the end to webuyanycar lol....But your example is nice.
  12. I think thats what they are going for on the R36 but keeping the R35 DNA, i cant see them getting rid of the box shape completely. Look at the this R-50...I thought based on the vision 2020 they might opt for a more supercar look. Maybe they are testing the waters with the R50 and italdesign.
  13. if based loosely on the GT r 50....Assuming Similar 3.8 V6, updated interior and exterior not much else difference apart from Lighter kerb weight say 1650 KG, 700 BHP just like the R 50.
  14. woud you buy an R36 if you had a My17 GTR with 700 BHP from Litchfield etc already? hmmm
  15. The Q60 is suppose to be the platform for the next Z. Nothing has been announced regarding the Q60 S black they showed as a concept a year ago. Its going to be tough. UK is a very sheepish market where people tend to buy cars because their mates bought it or ssomeone else has it lol. Not an overly individual market like some places Ive lived in. It would be good if they released that concept they touted. As for their other cars I cant comment.......I would be interested in a Q60 S coupe with 500BHP AWD V6. But whether they would release it in the UK is another thing. How many people would buy it. Especially if its £46,000+ with the alternatives on the market. I lived in California and in Nigeria, UK is the first country ive seen where you could be in traffic and see 4 of the same car go by you in a row and theyd all be the exact same models or similar colors. The lack of individuality and ability to think outside the box or try something new is prominent here. That affects brands like infiniti a lot. People are also not buying into JAP market as they used to. In America JAPS are still selling very well...a lot of young people drive them there.
  16. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, there are 50 ppl that like it. Are there 50 ppl that would buy it? We know there are 50 ppl who can drop £900,000 on the table for a car with ease. Lol
  17. The back needs a rework, are they trying to accomodate back seats lol
  18. I got tails for sale with blue tips and 5 inch AAM. Literally came off mine today. They have 1000 miles if that on them so its settled now. RRP is around £800...I can do them for cheaper. DM me if interested. Cruising at 30-40 70-80 they are quiet under load they sound good. Tbh HFC are more important than exhaust tails. IF you do both you get a nice loud exhaust. Tails only not so bad. HFC for more gains
  19. Squeaking seat i found to be the top of the headrest rubbing against the ceiling so i moved a few inches forward or adjust the back rest to make sure its not rubbing against the ceiling and behind the seat against the shelf....also try adjusting the depth of the seat see if that makes a diff Bootlid is caused by a weight in the boot. You either remove it or live with it or try paycos trick. I make sure i click iit two times in succession and grab it quick before it catches again lol
