  1. Thats what struck me the size difference between the nismo mk2 and the 350Z. But the 350z had a better seating position for me. More 90s BMW
  2. mk 2 nismo, where the LEDs are a lot of companies are now doing that extra angled front bumper, for a more imposing look. Ford and a few others are doing them. Nismo mk2 looks in general are definitely standoutish. And still up to date. The only people who believe its "long in the tooth", are the youtubers who forgot that Nissan only change their models completely every 10 years on average. Just hope the 400Z will be even better. Racing red stripes arent new, They add 5HP though
  3. still see them as exotic and petrolhead car. Why not only live once!
  4. 2 presses of start button to on position then clutch in and hold start button
  5. do import rev ups have a lower tax than UK rev up?
  6. yeah my bro bought a 911 non turbo £79,000. Had the same 350 BHP as the Nismo. I think it is what it is. You pay for the history, prestige, badge and know you will get a certain quality. Doesn't guarantee 100% reliability. Thing is people get the top spec Porsche and its hard to tell them apart from your caymans and boxsters if your not a car person. But variety is good Ive always said with all these finance deals available GTR is within reach for someone who previously couldnt afford it, Finance makes dreams come true. In regards to the GTR better off waiting and getting a 2012 onwards. Maybe even squeeze a 16 plate 17 shape in a year or so at around £60k. Only live once
  7. yep just do the whole panel hopefully it blends in with rest of the car after a few washes
  8. the kids love it..."woah" not everyones cup of tea but the most beautiful car you can get sub £30,000 pounds....judging by the amount of looks its definitely a head turner. Definitely getting one in future when prices are much lower to keep tbh nissan prolly thought, we dont want to get into gtr territory power wise. it needed to offer a different experience. but the next one will be more powerful im sure. probably m4 territory
  9. lol sold mine 6 weeks ago, 10k miles for £25800. looking at 24k to 40k depending on if you go new, ex demo or used. common issues are tramlining, window click, boot hook. test drive on variety of roads where suspension has to work. look out for pulling. aside from that stunning car. Slightly hard ride and heavy controls. Standard exhaust is quiet, but you get good response from back pressure. I had aam short tails resonated on mine. Still for sale!
  10. guess we can say inflation or just to keep it exclusive. Jaguars 4 pot coupe is also 50k. I rather get a 2011/2012 gtr.. just about maintenance costs and if its manageable. I reckon this is where Porsche are in a different league with their rear wheel cars. The alpine was kicking out a lot although traction and stability were off. I think this car is more around the 35 to 45k range. I think its heavier than 4c by 200 kg
  11. Clutch deffo. Try get an uprated one that can handle your driving lol
  12. my CRZ pops with some revs lol. Not that anyone can hear it though. But most modern cars do it now even 4 pots. I think a few on downshift or slowing down while hot yes. Continous popping no thanks lol
  13. saw you on the way back from work on thursday 23rd. I think I have seen you a couple of times and youve seen me in a white Nismo few months back.
  14. ive got the p20 pro twilight. Had the mate s for 2 and a half years previously. Good phone, powerful, everyone that has seen it says what is it. Some reckon they copied iphone. A bit pricey, but its a good phone. Camera is best on market, 4 cameras, 40 megapixel. The a.i does some magic the quality is bordering on slr cameras. 6 inch + screen. video not native 4k recognised by other devices, and dont think theyll patch it. im using 60 gigs of space and still have 68 gb free space. the only time it slows down is during heavy use with video editing program. Battery lasts all day with reasonable use. charges quick too.
  15. Interesting 4 pot, rival to cayman and possibly 4c. Faster than the Z. 250 bhp in a 1.8 weighing 1000kg roughly. Auto only. From £50,000 pounds. Recieved good reviews. 1 has caught fire, but dont let that put you off . 2 on private sale in uk at 9k over list..with only 100 miles...What do you think?
  16. The one that got away. 370Z Nismo in white looks better anyway kids love it! Miss mine! I lost £200 pound in depreciation over a year and piled 8000 miles on the clock....so not all bad. Good car to rip it through the highlands and old military road

    GTR

Sorry to bring this from the dead. Is Bell Housing Tranny upgrade a must on all GTR or only older ones?
  18. Jags new 4 pot price is just as much. lol
  19. every 10 years is a long time to change models. but i like what they did with the nismo Z and gtr. even though £50,000 extra made no sense. 180 bhp lol maybe the gear ratios are biased to acceleration putting the cars top speed at 110 mph
  20. finally found it...hard to hear...starts at 4 minutes and ends at 30 mins +...he discusses history of skyline and future r36 and possibility of new gearbox and opinion on going hybrid....this where my assumptions have come from........also saw the guy who owns the channel driving a 17 in another video.....making me really determined to get one.....
  21. LOL i used to do it on the 350. Good to have some sort of ability to drive manual properly. Then the synchro rev match makes you lazier. But it feels so much smoother on upshift and downshift. I always drove with it on in the 370
