Any 370z with aam short tails nr london?

got it fitted. Nice and very loud on cold starts for 60 seconds. Real life pop on downshift and bang on limiter. Not that fake stuff from 4 pots running around.......Sounds proper a lot more like the 350 I had before.... -
want to view a few 370z's - thoughts on these?
GranTurismoEra replied to gijopa's topic in 370z General
LOL stick with ex demo like I did. I got mine at 3k miles service done already. for £26,000 Judging by these prices i can drive till 15,000 and still get my money back lool. Wait and see then get one with sub 5k miles for £25,000. Dont rush and buy a higher mileage one, I also got the standard 2 years servicing and 3 year warranty and breakdown. GT model depreciate faster, But you can probably get a nice one around the £21,000 mark with low miles..... I got white. Hides all the marks and hairline scratches better. The shape looks better and cleaner. Black all it takes is for someone to rub against it or hit it with a handbag and youll see scratches.... -
Thats Nissan for you. Dropped as far back as 2011. Never bothered with Automatic Nismo version either. Nissan's self pity is quite sad really. Their sales are extremely poor. And the remaining enthusiasts are left with shoddy customer service and poor buying experience. I dont even know why people bother. Shame Honda dont make anything that looks as good as the Z as they are just a better allround company than Nissan...... Better off getting a used one and making sure all the issues - Steering lock etc have been addressed. Good Luck! Then stick with indy dealers for any repairs that might be needed.

chose a good early time. Can avoid the chavs, and just as they turn up the show ends lol

Parking Protection From Dings Inside Car Parks
GranTurismoEra replied to hmale4yu's topic in 370z General
Amazon door protector on Amazon. Doesnt work if as previous poster said is aluminium or youre parked next to an SUV. The door has to line up with your door. My tips, Avoid going to retail parks at peak times like midday on a weekend. I pick up my packages etc at like 5:30 just before they close. I shop at tesco and go to the 24 hour one at like 12 midnight when only supercars turn up and park in the middle or far away. If i have to go to a rough area i Uber it there or take public transport get someone else driving for once. No Biggie. Lastly I always try and park at the end in the last space and leave the car a bit forward so i can access my door even if someone parks tightly...... Apart from that nothing you can do really. Accept what can happen or get a runaround, plastidip it and use, who cares what happens after lol. -

370 is the only model that got left behind with DAB radio. Every other new Nissan has it
-
you can tell them but they dont listen. fortunately mine has Fusso wax protecting it, I told them both times i visited and they ignored me. Next time ill have a sign on the window!

Me and my bro worked out the costings for one with Warranty. So one without add some money for litchfield warranty. £1680 pounds per annum. All im saying is just set aside £7000 to cover insurance, fuel, tax, all 4 tyres, brake discs and pads as well as major service based on 10,000 miles per year Obviously one year youll not need a major service the following year you will need to change tires, brakes etc. oil tranny service is like £1000

Storm White Paint Quality: Prone To Scratches?
GranTurismoEra replied to hmale4yu's topic in 370z General
lol better off using hard paste wax to cover some of these hairline scratches. Its bound to happen and stone chips will definitely happen. Get PPF or just learn to live with it like i have. ines still in good condition. I got 3 stone chips. What can you do......Hairline scratches are normal on this soft white pain. When you open the door you can feel how soft it is.... NEVER ever wipe down the car without lubricant. The quick detail is a myth,. Wash the car first before attempting to wipe it. I use Fusso Hard paste wax. When wiping it down after application make sure cloth is wet or lubricated or youll get scratches. Why i didnt get a black car! White does a better job hiding scratches -
Exacty, well depends how you look at it. A trip to Borra Borra 10 months worth of fuel? A difference of a £1000-£2000. Maybe assume the one costing 15k now will be worth 9-12k in 4 years time. By then yours probably be cheapest in the country going. Youll get a buyer at around 7-8k most likely. Up to you. Long as theres no pulling, no funny noises and airbag actually exists should be fine. Buying to keep is very different from someone like me whos only keeping it for a year or two. So its less significant if youre not fussed about resale.

Hopefully the AA guy will take his time and fully inspect the car. Since its not a cheap inspection. Be prepared to lose £500 - £1000 a year on a normal car. based on the 350, This car will probably still be worth £7000 + in 4 years. as the depreciation seems to have flatlined at £10,000 for the past 3 years even the oldest ones. Probably because the newest HR 350z still worth £5000 to £7000. If you buy for £10,000 now. by 2022 youll prolly still be able to sell for 7000+ Original price at £35,000 and 12 years later £10,000 seems very good for a niche sports car. If it was a porsche itll prolly be slightly higher depending on model.

Looks good, for damage to be done to the bonnet from the wing position, seems like a bad crash. Possible wheel/axle damage. They do hold value, Getting one below £10,000 is not easy. Each to their own though. as Ive had CAT C golf no one would touch when it came to selling. I rather get a clear one. Also insuring CAT D could be more costly and some insurance companies may not cover it. Also I only say hard to sell because took me ages to sell mine had a lot of dreamers and timewasters plus this car is very market specific. You have to really want one to get one. Ive got a 17 Nismo White at 3k miles for £26k. Warranty was the main reason i didnt go for older plus i liked the new Nismo shape. I was going to go for older convertible and get the Nismo Bodykit.

I think the reason it changes so much is a lot of mature drivers complain to manufacturers hence MY 17 updates. So your hardcore versions aren't so hardcore anymore. Catering to a different audience but trying to keep original customer happy. There's emissions and strict regulations for non EU. So most feasible route is 3.0 Litre twin turbo V6. Nismo version 475 BHP to rival current M cars. Which by then will be 500 BHP+ probably Try to be less cynical. If the Infiniti Q60 Black S gets released that will probably be the basis of the next generaion. It may not be purist. But what is in 2018. Everything is moving to more subtle environment friendly eventually to Electric and huge tax on modern petrols and diesels. At least Nissan are trying to maintain some sort of heritage in regards to Sports cars and hardcore fanbase and are paying the price heavily with crappy sales in EU and Asia. Only US seems to buy these.. Hardcore version = slow selling too niche GT version = broader audience but stifled by biased market towards german market purist = purist not a big enough market to recoup RND. manufacture, marketing costs A new Turbocharged version with smart design will increase sales. jap cars in general will always be slow selling compared to german anyway For Nissan a lose lose situation either way.....Too expensive and people will go elsewhere. too cheap and lose a lot of characteristics, engine, design etc
-
possibly changeable AWD/RWD like the premiums who knows, but that mode would add to costs
-
Yeah a London youtuber DMODeejay ran one. Who knows who the winner is, prolly his mate!
-
lol sounds like the new phil mitchell, family man and reformed. jk . I rather go HPI clear tbh. All well and good that body panels line up. What about internals and structure of the car., frames, suspension bits etc. Hav eair bags been deployed and repaired and reset. Save the hassle and get a fresh one. Hard enough to sell as it is
-
Add me in Please. Im local and never go there. But ill be there for this. Is there a convoy anywhere else or is it just a standard meet and leave?
-
the same GTR lot that dont even acknowledge 350s and 370s LOL. Suprise!! Only ever spoken to one in traffic. Young guy!

I second what ponsonby said. If youre light on pedal you could do it on 1 tank and a bit. Cars quite forgiving on long stretches. It will be cheaper than transport When I got mine i didnt want to wait, so i trekked up to Birmingham with my 350z nice drive, no fatigue. Got there under two hours from London. Then drove back the Nismo. Wow what an experience the first time. big difference over the 350. More torque and nicer all round
