  1. Welcome Ian 8k should get you an average later HR model or a near immaculate earlier model. There isnt a massive difference in real world terms but i have the HR which i am glad i went with as its “slightly” better in several areas although many will argue its not worth the extra £. The decision is yours
  2. Welcome along doing your first mod is kinda like the pringles slogan.
  3. Welcome along That car looks a good deal on the face of it. As you have read the guides, they will give you a good idea of the common faults but the more expensive fixes are rust, have a good look underneath and around arches, clutch/fly/csc, ask when/if it was last replaced and banana arms/ bushes, check for knocking sounds or vauge steering. Good Luck
  4. Get a look underneath the car to check the condition of the w brace. Basically as a rule of thumb: if its been on the car over 5 years it will need replacing. If the cars been used in the rain it will need replacing. If the cars been driven over the winter months it will definitely need replacing. If the car has spent any time on the coast you may struggld to find any of it still attached to the car. Ok the above is tounge in cheek but heres mine last year from 2008 car. it was in decent shape by comparison to some, a sand down, hammerite primer, hammerite satin black, 2 coats por-15 and 2 coats of bilt hamber underseal later and it should be good for another few years fingers crossed. Just for reference i undersealed the whole car recently and there was hardly any rust/corrosion on rest of vehicle so it shows what a bad design the oem brace is.
  5. Welcome along that aerial wont last long....
  6. I would be up for it, date permitting. Give the zed a good blast before winter hibernation.
  7. No mate, think the last one was spring time.
  8. Just supplying the products at the minute steve. But if you want to treat the car take a look at the website. PM me for a discount code if you need anything. It is very rewarding detailing your own car and saves you £££. Its just getting the time and in this country the weather. Your welcome to pop over though and have a look at the zed if you want.
  9. Heyup Steve. Welcome along, I’m in Pontefract so not too far away. My 350HR wont be the best to test for what you will be buying as its had a lot done to it so drives completely different to a stock HR but if you plan on upgrading any aspect give me a shout. Mitz is the man post above) for servicing and work, although in Leicester its worth the trip as there are no “specialists” round our way

Thanks for the mention Stu. I do the Carchem leather cleaner if you want to give that a try. Just realised i dont currently offer the LC140 glass sealant, just the gtechnic G1and G5 sealants so let me know if its a good product for future. Car is looking great as usual, how are the mamba gloves?
  11. Great pic. Love the man logic. Do i buy another 350? Do i spend a bit more and try a 370? what the hell, brand new 370 Nismo enjoy
  12. Welcome, beautiful car, if only all 43 year olds looked as good.
  13. Definately puts his stamp on them. Welcome back fella. How long before the 370 is slammed?
  14. People are missing the fact that this was at 5k revs. My 350 made an extra 50bhp at 6.5k revs compared to 5k so without seeing a graph its hard to comment.
