  1. Definitely! I think I was just unlucky, as it seems to fix most peoples issue.
  2. Is there a speciifc order to how the terminals should be disconnected / reconnected? i.e. negative first, then pos, and when reconnecting - pos, then negative?
  3. I still have this problem even though I replaced my struts with SGS struts. I went for the non-spoiler ones as I have no spoiler. It does stay open by itself now though which is a bonus. I would recommend going all out and getting the highest rated spoiler ones even if you don't have a spoiler. Bonus: You'll have a powerful catapult, lolol.
  4. I have this same problem, so interested to know how you get on. I have plugged in to diagnostics and the error moves between the one in front of the passenger and the steering wheel. I have replaced the clock spring but no joy. I'd recommend getting a diagnostics done to see which area is giving the problem. Be careful if you're tempted to solder the wires under the seats as I have heard one story of airbags deploying when, or shortly after, doing this. Could be fatal!
  5. Do you need to disconn battery before unplugging and replugging?
  6. Please keep us updated on how you get on. I've had a rubbish time trying to diagnose this, and am still no further on. As others have said, it's the airbag warning light. If you do the light reset procedure with your key, you can put the car into diagnostic mode. The light will then flash at a different rate, indicating the fault code. Unfortunately the way mine flashes just indicates "some fault", and not a specific one. I've connected to a diagnostic machine, and the fault keeps moving between the driver's steering wheel, and the passenger front airbag (not the seats). A new spiral cable is a common fix, but despite putting a new one in, I had no joy! Still flashing shortly after doing the reset.
  7. Hi Kyle, Thanks very much for the kind offer! Confirmed the proper code last night (WV2) and have already hit the buy button! Ignore the instructions, it tells you to apply the base coat and leave for 10 minutes before wiping the excess off with the cap. Instead leave it for about 15-20 or it'll just wipe all off Hahah thanks for the top tip!

  9. Hi all, I was just wondering if someone smarter than me could let me know if the following link is the correct touch up paint for a gun metal grey 350z? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-Genuine-Scratch-Remover-Touch-Up-Paint-Gun-Metallic-Kad-KE998KAD25CC-/301995090551?hash=item46504f6277:g:vpsAAOSwPe1T2LwX My neighbours guests have finally decided to smack a bunch of 6+ chips out of my paint, down to the primer, on my door. *sigh*. Has anyone used these touch up pens before? Are the results any use? Thanks very much for your help.
  10. Where does the oil level read on the dip stick? Is it way over?
  11. If your TV has an HDMI input, you could buy a Chromecast for £20-30 - these support Netflix.
  12. Stranger Things was such a good show. Best series I've watched in such a long time.
  13. What I have found in the past is that during a breakup it's really easy to suffer from the 'halo effect', in which you ignore all of her negatives and only focus on the good times you had. It can be helpful to remember the times she was a b.. to you for no reason, the pointless arguments she might have started at some point etc. Then you'll remember she wasn't some sort of perfection you can't do without, and that you can do better in the future.
  14. Love the slanted brake lights above the reg plate. If it shows up in a photo its bound to be horrendous in person.
  15. My local is only a tiny one so they unfortunately only had a small selection. Certainly making use of the deal online if it's available though!
  16. I feel your pain. I had a horrific experience with another national windscreen (ahem) company. As I was waiting to get mine done, another customer was complaining that they had scraped his bonnet and dashboard. The staff then managed to lock his keys in his car, and has to smash his driver window to get them out!! They then hilariously said "we will replace your driver window free of charge" as if they were doing him a favour hahahah. When I got mine back, the rubber strips on the outside were all the wrong length - some way too long, some way too short. The one along the top is now loose and I need to go get some glue to put it back in place.
  17. Walked in, then moonwalked out when I saw they were charging £12 for a wash mit! £3 for the same job in tesco.
  18. Had to drive a 1L Ka for a week when my Z was in getting work done. During that week I absolutely hated driving - it became a complete chore, and the shorter the drive the better. Getting back into the Z made me appreciate it so much more. Even if I was just sitting in traffic and not pushing the car on, the Z is just such a nice thing to sit in. Also, other peoples reactions to it remind me its something special!
  19. Ark Grip if you can spare the extra cash! Looks stunning and sounds unbelievable. Best thing ive done to the car.
  20. Lost some man points that day!
  21. Don't be so harsh on yourself my man. You are only human, and you're doing exactly what many other men have done, and will do in the future. Use this time to focus on you, rather than someone else.
  22. You 100% did the right thing.
