  1. I've found that Fluoxetine works well to balance things out, but doesn't help with anxiety. I'm going to try a move to Sertraline soon, as I have heard it works well with both. In terms of D (the guilt over past mistakes), I suffered badly from that one in the past. I didn't really find counselling that useful, BUT, one quote from my counselor really stood out and actually pretty much solved that aspect completely. It sounds so simple and obvious. It was 'Any decision you've ever made, was the right one to make at the time based on the information you had at the time'. Basically you shouldn't ever beat yourself up if you've made a choice which seemed right at the time but later turned out to be a screw up. I would also highly recommend parkrun. If you don't know about it, here's the website: http://www.parkrun.org.uk/ . They are weekly timed runs all over the UK, I'm sure there would be one near you. They're free, and all you need to do is reg online and print a barcode. All shapes and sizes attend - you don't have to have ever run before. The community at all of those runs is so welcoming and supportive. It's a great way to get to know new people, and feel a part of a community which is separate to any other aspect of your life. It also gives you something else to focus on - some brand new goals to achieve. The runs are 5k (roughly 3 miles), and you get a text with your time each week, and how you compared to everyone else. There's usually tea and coffee and buns after each run. I can't recommend it enough. Best of luck mate.
  2. Got turned ok thanks! Its a very quiet road so no stress thankfully

    Burnouts

Make sure the clutch is being dumped as fast as you can. If you come off too slow it will heat up too much and slip.
  4. Hahahah rather than chancing it (destroyed my original y pipe on speed bumps!) I took a quick detour. All good!
  5. Cracking looking exhaust and sounds great as well. Only thing is the cans look very low. Is there any issue with grinding out over speedbumps etc? Had a Blitz Ńur Spec on my GTR and speedbumps were a nightmare. Thanks! I'm lowered on Tein S-Tech. No scrapes at all so far! The cans are located at the back axle, so as long as you don't try to straddle anything particularly high then I can't see it being a problem. I can measure height off ground if that's of any use to ya.
  6. Thanks very much for the suggestion. Unfortunately the fault is being logged as either from the airbag in front of the passenger (in the dash) or the driver's steering wheel airbag, rather than the seat airbags. I guess maybe the system can become confused though? There is absolutely nothing under the seats but I'll try disconnecting, cleaning, reconnecting them. Thanks.
  7. Hi all, I've been doing loads of googling on this, but found nothing that has been able to fix this problem. For the past few months I am getting a flashing airbag light after a few minutes of driving. Each time it is reset using the ignition pattern, but it will soon return. I've had the car hooked up to two diagnostics machines. The first machine said the driver's steering wheel airbag was faulty. The second machine (a much more expensive machine) first read the passenger front airbag was faulty, then read the driver steering wheel airbag was faulty. I replaced the clock spring, but the light is still flashing. Neither of the clock springs I ordered fitted, despite both being for the trim and year my car has.... so the garage's electrician re-wired the newest clock spring to use my old connector, which they say has worked successfully. The last diagnostics indicated that the passenger front airbag is faulty. The garage who has been dealing with this reckons that no matter what they do, a fault will flag up somewhere on the system, and that it is the airbag control unit that is possibly at fault. Those are crazy money to replace. Has anyone had anything like this before, or can anyone offer any suggestions as to how this can be fixed? The garage offered to put a timer on the airbag light so that it would come on at ignition and then stay blank - but that's a route I really don't want to go down - I wouldn't forgive myself if skimping on an airbag fix resulted in someone getting hurt. Any help would be much appreciated. The car failed its MOT because of this. I'm tempted just to throw it in to Nissan to get them to sort it, but from what I've read online this could cost the guts of £2k. Think I bought a bit of a lemon as I've had nothing but issues with this car =(...
  8. Hahah certainly not a worry, just more curiosity than anything! Zeezeebaba makes a good point about maybe running lean. Something for me to consider looking into in the future!
  9. Hahah, I'd say the grip had about 1.5k miles on it at the time of testing.
  10. Hi all, Not that I'm complaining about low emissions at all, but just carious as to why this would happen! I was getting my 05 Z MOT'd last week, and during the emissions test I had 2 or 3 testers standing around their machine scratching their head wondering why my emissions were so low. They made me rev the engine a few times just to get something detected. To be honest I initially thought I was way over the emissions as one tester said "oh dear oh dear oh dear" out loud lol. The car has nearly 90k miles on it, standard cats, but a very new Ark Grip fitted. Can anyone explain why my emissions would be so low as to cause the testers confusion? I'm guessing the new exhaust might be something to do with it?
  11. Glad you got her sorted already! It sounds awesome!! Are you happy with it?
  12. +1 to this. Wouldn't mind replacing mine as I had a windscreen replaced there and the guy just basically threw the rubber on without trying to line it up right.
  13. Another vote for the Ark Grip! When you're already spending quite a bit of cash it really would be worth your while to stretch that little bit further. The sound is just unbelievable, and it looks stunning. Here is a walkaround and some revs of it:
  14. Hahahah I know . I have my MOT very soon so it does need sorted! Ordered a new clock spring as the code was coming up as my driver airbag, hopefully that'll fix it :S. Have you tried resetting it first? Thanks for the suggestion - I have indeed, both with a diagnostics machine and with the ignition key dance. It comes back quickly though =(. Clock spring was only £50 from Alex, so worth a shot!

  16. Only realised how stinkin my car was when posting that last pic. Decided to spend a good few hours yesterday doing a full detail, much better!
  17. Hi all, Here is a much better video of my Ark Grip with some in car revs. This gives a much better idea as to what this really sounds like when sitting in the driver seat.
  18. That's a good point. I'd worry it would bring even more attention to the car than if it was just by itself. Though its impossible to understand the psychology of the kind of people who would consider doing things like that.
  19. Alex does a great deal on used spiral cables (if that's what a squib is) - £50!
  20. Is it like an air sucking sound when you're at like 75% throttle? If so that's just your air intake.
  21. Is there a prize for the dirtiest car? Will need to upload another shot once a whole winter's worth of dirt has been washed off lol. I also need to take Payco's advice about flipping the bolts over on the exhaust tips, and muster up the courage to get a bumper tuck done :S :S.
  22. Great choice of exhaust! Go hit the magical 3-5k when driving beside tall buildings / in a tunnel. Unbelievable sound! I initially had drone but that completely disappeared after about 600 miles. It sounds better every day.
