yeah I made a start at cleaning the bay up yesterday, but my god the dust is thick! going to need to step it up a gear. And turns out the BOV is Forge Wheels arrive at lunch today so photos later!

Absolutely, it gives this car so much charisma, I'm going to try and record the BOV, I haven't heard one like it yet, its no the typical 'tssshhhh' its more 'pawrrrrrrr' if that makes sense. full marks if you made those noises out loud

It has been on the dyno, It wasnt in my ownership, but I have the paperwork etc from it. well the tow hook is now red, but I don't think I'm going to leave it on, its a little 'civic' for my taste. Yeah more aggression would be nice, still need to get the front reg plate fitted to minimize issues with cops etc. The drive is quite different, I prefer the seating position in the zed, and obviously the heated seats in the cold! But the R33 is much more alive and a much funner drive! I dont do massive miles in it so its not uncomfortable.

Yeah cheers guys, I agree, I'm still unsure about the two tone paint job, I would prefer just grey, but it's growing on me, and I think the wheels will make a big difference. The diff pipe issue has been sorted, so all is well with the car now, just need to get used to it, then I will look at upping the power to around the 400bhp mark

Yes well that was why I have taken it for a good look over at the garage, but so far it seems to check out. I guess its no different to selling your car and buying their car separately, just a whole lot easier!

I wouldnt have been bothered with the 350z, but my R33 looks much better without it, so i'm all up for this And I agree, why can motorbikes get away with it? Maybe if this doesnt work out, they should try and get them fitted to the front of them..and push bikes..and horses

So I was unsure about getting rid of the 350z since March time, and spoke to a few guys about it on the Wales 2016 meet. I decided to keep it to use at our wedding in May, and since then I had been searching for something different.. Enter the 1994 Nissan Skyline R33 GTST. I met the chap on Saturday at Cheshire Oaks - midway for both and let the girlies go shopping when we spoke 'boring stuff'. We took both cars out one at a time, and had a good look around both. We went to Mcdonalds and decided we were both happy, and did a straight swap. I personally thing this is probably worth more, with bigger mods, including a recent paint job. I was very nervous driving this car, it feels completely different to my 350z, its 22 years old now, and have never driven anything with an aftermarket clutch (this has a stage 3) so is quite unforgiving. Looking back at my car drive away I was unsure if I had done the right thing, But that all went away when I started to drive it. What a fun car! Tons of personality and it quickly proves whey people love them. People ask me which car I prefer to drive, and its an odd one - The 350z is a 'comfy' drive, nice heated seats, easy to drive all day etc, but this is brutal, loud, rude, and alive. So on to the important list. 1994 Nissan Skyline R33 GTST. Imported from Tokyo in 2005. 109600 on the clock, a mix of both. Converted to MPH. Full folder of receipts, remap dynos, and import documents to back it all up. Currently on 0.9bar, and running just shy of 340bhp. Laserline cat 1 alarm and immobilizer fitted. Tourino steering wheel with quick release boss. Corbeau seats, finished in black leather and red stitching. Apexi FC commander. Full respray in Audi Narda Grey and gloss black. Carbon Fibre bonnet Carbon Fibre boot lid Carbon Fibre spoiler R32 GTR intercooler Dump valve Strut brace Japspeed type 1 full exhaust system with decat Window tints on the rear There are a couple of little issues to amend - its in the garage to replace a leaky pipe on the active diff, and details like the gear knob doesn't fit the car, so ordered one that does! Garage also had a look below deck and its in good shape there as well, which is nice piece of mind. The first thing I did was remove all the bumper stickers (2x on each window, some on the spoiler, rear bumper and fuel cap - all gone now ) and a full wash and clay on Sunday - It began to rain before I could glaze and wax. The tyres badly needed replacing, and since I am not a fan of the (badly sprayed) 350z touring wheels, I decided to order some new wheels to suit, with nice tyres. I found a bargain on eBay for some Rota Touques resprayed in candy red, with Yokahama tyres - practically new as well, hopefully arriving this week. I understand. kind of.. My insurance is £300 on the 350z this year, which I thought was amazing, that was with Hastings direct, I think they came out tops a few times for me now. Its funny how the rules change so dramatically between the companies. Just for future reference, what IS the minimum age for a R33 GTST?

So I may be swapping to a R33 skyline at the weekend, and rang for a quote, but I cant get insured.. I am 26 years old, no convictions, crashes etc clean license, just about to get my 5th year no claims, had the 350z for a year. Any reason for this? quite dissapointed

Sorry, but old game that flopped. Was amazing, revolutionising game when the mod first came out for Arma. Only reason I bought Arma, along with I think it was around 60% increase of sale for Arma since the mod. Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut that was it, it never really evolved from the Mod, nothing really changed, bugs and glitches were still there. I had huge fun in the Mod, however I never bought the release and wouldn't plan to any time soon. But at least we can thank Dayz for starting a chain reaction of Survival games over the last few years No i disagree with that, we tried the mod and didnt enjoy it that much, the SA is still evolving and has progressed, even since I started it. It still has glitches but a big change at the moment is the change of the graphics system, which will hopefully increase the FPS for the players - mines on 90 out of town, and around 30 in cherno etc. Dayz is still getting more popular, but development has slowed down due to splitting the time with making it for sony as well - personally I think it wont do the game justice on PS4. I had to laugh though, my mates say I am way to into (even have a map of chernarus in my wallet..more for a laugh than actually using it!) but saw something on live leak about a girl playing it, and a neighbor calling the cops on her, who came and raided the house. Turned out she was being held hostage and was screaming at the pc 'please dont hurt me, oh god im bleeding, please someone help me im going to bleed out etc'!

If we had a seperate PC gamers thread, at least people would have at least heard of dayz lol

I once worked next to a unit which sold second hand furniture, and if they didnt see value in the tables etc they took them out back into the carpark and literally smash them to bits - screws etc everywhere. I bought a new car one day, and went home..next morning found two flat tyres - both needing replacing I decided it was best to park over in screw fix car park after that! Though they did claim other victims from the branch

mine has come on a few weeks ago, took it to check the code and its the o2 sensor, havent sorted it yet but the car is acting normal. Tried clearing it a few times and it comes back. My guess is it was after the plenum spacer was put in? could be something simple like that?

does anyone on here play Dayz? its been my favourate game since it was released as standalone, but it has been my geek computer friend who had a tower powerful enough to run it (16gb ram, water cooled, 3 monitors etc) UNTIL TODAY!!! I have swapped my ps4 (which included PT) for a high power PC, so I am very keen to get home and start my journey in chernarus!

The issue lies in most people expecting Top Gear to be different, which it isn't going to be, because it is still Top Gear, but it wont stop everyone feeling like Chris Evans and the rest are just trying to copy the old 3's style, which it very much looks like on the trailer. Sorry but I just the new presenters enough to not even bother watching the first one. I dont know why people actually watched Top Gear looking for serious car stuff, its an entertainment show, and for people like me, who like cars, it fit the bill perfectly. I loved the old 3, and look forward to seeing more of them, what ever they do ( even James May's toy shows )

awesome cars, my dads had smax since they were released. I drove it to Paris and back and was such a comfy drive. Infact this is the spitting image of his exept this looks like the standard white (his was pearl) Good luck with the sale

Rhian and I got married on May 9th, and obviously I used the 350z as my car! It was treated to a full machine polish the week before, a good wash and hoover inside before we set off for the coast, and a 3/4 hour clean the evening before: wash, towel dry, glaze, wax, wheel polish, tyres dressed. windows polished, engine cleaned etc. The wedding went amazingly, we had a great day, and everyone is still talking about it now! The car went down well and even booked to take a girl to her prom tomorrow evening at Maesmawr hall! Here are a couple from the day. Final wipe down before set off..attempting to calm nerves! evening shots - the photographer is editing these a bit yet. Terrible photo, but this is me and my mates from school. The chap on the left jumped in to do the photography after finding out the first photographer dropped out the day before the wedding! I only really put this in because I like the tyre in the front arch..its a terrible shot of us! Finally no car, but this is Rhian and I, thought it was rude not to put a bride and groom photo cheers

On honeymoon this week after the wedding on Monday, and spotted some 350's, 370, gtr and some Germans in aberdovey. Guy in the gtr may have seen me pointing at you when you drove towards Tywyn lol Here's mine, wasn't in aberdovey but it may be spotted around the area this week

but aren't green and red the colours of christmas?
