  1. Oh hey! I had no idea this was happening, but coincidentally I was meeting up with a couple of other petrolheads for the evening, starting at the McDonalds car park round the corner, and spotted you all there. Didn't have time to swing by and say hi, but looks like it was a great turnout anyway
  2. Also have to miss out on this one as I'm running a workshop with a client 😞 Have fun everyone!
  3. For some reason I thought I couldn't do the next one, but I double-checked, and I was wrong! Tuesday 30th August @ 8pm 1) Matt89 2) Apoc124 3) Andy_Muxlow 4) Nate 5) kbad 6) SUPRAWOOKIE 7) MarkSt 8) OliverB 9) Kayla 10) Jalada And a couple of quick photos of the turnout:
  4. What a great selection of cars & conversation! Lovely to meet everyone I'll try not to sit on the photos for too long...
  5. This is handy; I've got a mark on the roof of my car from a melted plastic bag that I can't shift that it'd be nice to get his opinion on.
  6. I haven't been to say hi since Japfest, so it'd be good to come along again 2nd August works well for me, too. Tuesday 2nd August @ 8pm 1) Matt89 2) Apoc124 3) Andy_Muxlow 4) kbad 5) SUPRAWOOKIE 6) Mattbowles 7) MarkSt 8) Jalada Tuesday 30th August @ 8pm 1) Matt89 2) Apoc124 3) Andy_Muxlow 4) Nate 5) kbad 6) SUPRAWOOKIE 7) MarkSt
  7. Is that on the 370z wheel? Have you tried it on the car & do you have 19" or 18" standard (does that even make a difference? They specify different tyre sizes so I guess so...) Thanks buddy, I'm considering it, but mindful of the cost of needing to buy the spacer too with the 350z spare (assuming that's what it is?)
  8. I'm having a rather frustrating time sourcing a spare wheel/tyre for my 370Z (with 19" alloys). Getting the spare wheel is easy. But getting a T145/70R18 tyre is impossible (as another thread has pointed out). I've tried speaking to Nissan, a couple of tyre places, but no joy. The best suggestion given was to find out if a slightly different tyre size (one that is manufactured) would work, but Nissan just said "There's no such thing as a spare tyre for a 370Z", when obviously there is and what I'd like to know is where are all the tyres coming from for the countries where it's a legal requirement!? Does anyone have any advice for me? I was hoping to get this resolved before my road trip through Europe in 2 weeks but I don't think that's gonna happen now!...
  9. File this under "actually investigate on the car next time..." I wanted to replace all 3 of my wiper blades, but Nissan don't sell a rear wiper blade refill, just the entire blade. So I bought the entire blade (287901EK0A) but when replacing the refills on the front I wondered if the passenger side refill (28895JF01A, 19") would fit the rear. Turns out it does! So for reference for anyone else looking this up (because I couldn't find any info, perhaps because everyone just measures them to realise they're the same), if you want to replace all 3 refills on your OEM 370Z windscreen wipers, you need: - 1x 288951EA0A (driver) - 2x 28895JF01A (passenger & rear) This probably comes to about £20-25 in total. A lot cheaper than buying entire blades, and the refills take just a few seconds to swap. You can't get them the wrong way round when inserting them either, because they have a notch at one end.
  10. We're aiming for about 6:30 at MK Dons. See you tomorrow!
  11. I'm happy to bring things forward 30 minutes, I live 10 minutes from the stadium!
  12. Just bits and pieces amongst all the talk about tickets in the main thread, and http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/107628-japfest-2016-arrival-time/. But no big deal, just thought I'd ask. I'm definitely not going to complain about some extra sleep Excited to meet everyone!
  13. Based on the chatter in some other threads, don't we need to be getting there a little earlier than 8am?
