  1. Japspeed stuff isnt Japspeed, its all Chinese made just relabeled replicas of brand name companies. Same as Toyosport, Xpower and JPerformance............... all the same stuff.
  2. Doesn't want to spend the money on the Zed, but willing to spend way more for a new Focus ST.............
  3. What i will say is, i would hate to daily my Zed in city centre traffic every day. Just not a nice car for that sort of daily commute. My daily or whenever i fancy is my J reg 1.4l Sunny, super light steering, gear change and clutch, great visibility, small easy to park, everyone gives you way (pity vote) dirt cheap to insure, tax and run (no wear & tear part costs more than £50 to buy new). Park it up and walk away, with no fear of car park dings - bliss. Also getting back into the 350z after a few days in the Sunny, makes it feel like a Bugatti Veyron
  4. Awful news, hope you get it sorted promptly
  5. Suits the BM way better pal!!!
  6. Subscribed to the build pal, but looking smart so far from when I last saw it at SVM
  7. End of August meant MOT time *its first with me Apart from the quick checks of the levels, lights, tyres and wipers i remebered i wanted to tart up the under body chassis W brace as these are prone for corrosion and mine was sadly no different. Pretty poor condition but solid enough at the moment. Wire brush and brush painted as much was i could while lying on the cold floor. Getting to pilot your own MOT..................... bliss What do you meant to have to test drive my car because it had a LSD? Straight pass with NO advisories, Get In!!!!!!!!
  8. Foam filters sound awesome too, especially big'uns August came time for a lads road trip out to Lake Vyrnwy Wales, only my second time going there but its so so lovely and looks just like a postcard as some of you very well know. Apart from picking up a stone on the rear N/S tyre, the 350z was faultless. Punches well for 230bhp, damn trick diff Breakfast at a truck stop over in Cannon on the A5 Till the next time Then at the end of every road trip or car show, quick spray of citrus pre wash and jetwash
  9. It sure is, works surprisingly well. Nice cheap addition, as the front does need that bit extra in my view. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/111701-alternative-front-splitter-cupra-r/page__fromsearch__1
  10. Im in the same boat or be it 14 months and yes its a great place to be No nasty suprises at the MOT either, so let the good times roll
  11. DE guys would have bought these ages ago. HR guys mods funds goes on road tax LOL
  12. Last Sunday in June meant Japfest Rock, sadly the owners club wasn't in attendance but the show must go on. Again not only had show tickets been purchased, but track time too. Being a warm sunny day, this time I could push alot harder and actually see what was what. Quick check of the oil level *500ml needed, lowered the tyre pressure all round to 26 psi, setup the GoPro - prep done. First time seeing the chequered flag as last time out at Silverstone, poor conditions caused issues resulting in red flags each time huff. This time out was way better, left the paddock behind my mate Kay in her Almera SR20DE+T which was a good sight and for years I wanted to go out with her. Footage Front splitter fitting.... ^ ok for a DIY job, pleased with that. Next came DIY attempt for side spitters made from uPVC. Wanted to buy black ones but couldn't get then in time so white it was then later black vinyl wrap. For less that £40 all in, I think the effect is 80% of what the shop bought version would be so again pleased with that. David
  13. Ello A buckled wheel would vibrate at speeds before you touched the brakes also. Possibly dirt or corrosion on the hub faces where the discs meet the axle. Check maybe the prev owner had 45psi in the tyres, which won't help matters. Tbf not sure about that one pal.
  14. Yes matey 14/17mm drop, perfect for a daily I feel - cheers again Sprayed a couple caps from my Sunny Then added the dipstick and a vacuum hose mount to the mix. Also sourced a couple of JDM window switches as not having auto passenger window bugged me. Plug and almost play as just needed to carry out a window reset which worked straight away for the drivers side but took three attempts on the passenger. All in all, much better and how Nissan should have made all 350z
  15. The Y pipes are interchangeable
