  3. Nice quick fix at least and should benefit other 350z owners that have similar work carried out. Which clutch and DMF combo did you go for?
  4. Me and a few car lads going for a drink this Friday. Meeting at Notcutts for 9pm if that's not to far, then going for a drive to a nice pub in Hatton.
  5. I really like grey wheels however some greys when they catch certain lights/angles and look blue, which I really dislike. Had this personal issue previously, however it was on a red car which made it even worst. I think the facelift Nismo alloys look somehow bigger than the regular GT wheels, which I think is partly down to the two tone diamond cut design.
  6. Welkom along My advise would be if you plan to keep the car standard, buy at the top of your budget and enjoy a newer car. If planning upgrades ie engine, suspension, tyres, brakes etc retain a couple grand to comfortably allow for these. 350z engines are irrc: 276bhp DE 296bhp DE RevUp 308bhp HR Some folks say tax bracket doesn't matter, and yet almost every ad both on the forum and Autotrader etc emphasize 'cheaper tax' for DE models so take from that what you will.

  8. Ello n welkom Usually members wanting similar do 06' airbox mod, panel filter, plenum spacer, high flow cats, aftermarket 3' exhaust system including Y pipe and UpRev remap. Possibly then uprated clutch and lightweight flywheel, higher lift cams, headers always an option. Stick around.
  9. A rattle/vibration shouldn't be related to a conventional exhaust surely......
  10. Car looks great with the tints all round!! Headlamps made a huge difference.
  11. My 05' 350z has similar tendencies for 2nd gear when cold, fitting a weighted knob and extender really helped - plus looks nice.

  15. Looks good. Taking them apart is one thing, re assembling water tight is another.
  16. Swap the coil pack to another cylinder and see if the fault follows.

  18. Today the quiet drive to and from work was bliss. Will have to try and pop down in the new year for a run out with your lot.
  19. Yes but no. The throttle butterfly itself causes a restriction even at wide open throttle, so a larger throttle body can help offset the restriction. Allowing for more air to pass either side of the butterfly, aside from the slightly larger TB itself.

Prior to coming across the airbag ECU reset process online this week, borrowed the Carista plug in from our brother and installed the Torque Lite app. Had a little play on the way to work this morning. Had the car over 3yrs and never did a timed 0-60mph run, as using a stop watch or similar reaction times wouldn't make the findings fair. Helps massively not having to go into 3rd gear, steady launch and only one gear change to think about. Easy 0.2 or more still to be had with warmer temperatures.
  21. Those sensors can be mapped out during the UpRev tune. Those sensors with the HFC maybe out of scope to what the factory parameters are expecting to see post cats.
  22. Did the above reset today and it worked a treat. Brought the passenger seat all the way forward to fit a rear dash cam and the connector under seat didn't like it.
