  1. Just put together my glovebox detailing kit for the Zed. Never done this before however what a smart and easy idea. Right to left, my go to glass cleaner, leather cleaner, quick detailer, interior dressing and 5:1 APC.
  2. A picture of how these look when fitted will help the sale no end.
  3. Even brand new cars aren't perfect sadly, found your way onto a GREAT forum so stick around!!
  4. I'd have thought these issues would have been on going for a good will to be fair. Any vehicle purchase from a 'meet point' isn't a good idea. One related reason is as a warm vehicle/engine, wont show the issues a cold one will. Hopefully all sorted soon enough.
  5. First action would be, re grease shafts and re torque to correct spec. If whereby that doesn't work, then progress to replacing parts. I carried out first action myself about 2 years ago and it's been perfect since. However as we're talking warranty, with a limited window for repair......... half of me is saying do the minimum repair that's needed, the other says go for the replacement parts *thinking out loud.
  6. Looking nice pal, show them Honda folks what real torque looks like!! Previously never went cool aftermarket lung nuts, as id be worried about returning to find the car on bricks. Using the OE locking nuts with flash aftermarket nuts looks wrong to me, so ive had to be boring and stay OE all round.
  7. Cheers pal, aided with the help of moto filter
  8. Bought a pair of MPS4's, 2018's annual service parts and oil in the sale, saved a fair sum too!
  9. It's the stock differ under tray thing, not sure about HR......
  10. No, just the car led...... Sugar I should have cycled through to 'car' and 'recond'. Have the Note hooked up now with 'recond' to added stage 6 of the process. It reads 'recond' is to be used once a year, which is good to know.
  11. With the battery going flat the other day and then reading up whereby even after going for a long drive this doesn't restore the battery fully. I thought I'd look into conditioning of the battery cells to help prolong it's life as it's a second car. Borrowed a CTEK MXS 5 from my brother's work and it's fair to say it was needed. Started of with 2 and finished on 7, yay back to full health again.
  12. 720s..... Yes that's what you remind me of, a 2018 Saleen S7
  13. Ive ordered a previously a XTD lightweight flywheel and stage 2 clutch for an Almera GTi. The flywheel was fine and no issues for years and years, however the clutch was harsh. The clutches for the SR20 at least can be hit or miss, however the flywheels report no issues. The UPS chap at my moms front door wanted £40 upfront for customs. since then anything from overseas, I always request the seller writes 'warranty replacement parts' to try and avoid any further charges.
  14. Ordered a pair of fronts for my 18' RAYS in yesterday's eBay sale
  15. Unless these were very cheap, ideally a smart move would have been to opt for a set of MPS4S. Like MPSS, however just that bit better every way.
  16. Tar for the heads up, will look for it. 2017 has seen so many UK motoring journalist change channels, that chap gone over to MotorTrend from DriveTribe??? And another from Evo car to DriveTribe, to Carfection in 12 months...... I cani keep up.
  17. So nice just being able to carry out an annual service yourself, I cant think of a time when il ever want to pay a garage for the task. Do you run an undertray and is that your normal brand of oil?
  18. Nothing in the way of modifications, more so keeping her clean and tidy through the winter as best as can be with being parked outside. Needless to say after two weeks being parked up and half this time being under snow, come thursday gone she wouldn't start. Thought ok, break out the portable battery booster *Suaoki U2 and epic fail!!! Arghhhh later that evening the trusty 92' Sunny to the rescue. Jump leads connected, wait a minute and the VQ35 burst into life. The next day meant long way to work allowed for some much needed charge, however I can't help but think the adverse effect dropping below 9v would of had. Hopefully nothing much as the battery didn't go completely flat at least. On a brighter note, petty happy with the December cover car for the Facebook group - thumbs up to the OEM+ cars. Not the 50/50 shot I normally aim for.
