  1. No worries, be sure to add your name to next month's meet is free
  2. Numbers look good on FB, but you never can tell for sure. Hopefully a few locals go, so I can drop into the mid pack to follow and not lead for once
  3. Details for the next MBM are below, kind of end of season gathering that for once will actually include breakfast. This is a new spot for the club and very nice digs, which could material as a regular start to club meets going forward. Plan is to all meet up at Oakes Farm Shop and Restaurant for 9:30am, as this is the time for our table booking. According to their web site, I think they're going to open a tad earlier for us, as normally they open at 10am. Been here before and the food is amazing *breakfast menu below, as fresh as you like for obvious reasons. After breakfast ive mapped out a nice route to head up to Melbicks to meet up and have a chat about our lovely Datsuns. Date: Sunday 13th October Time: 9:30am Location: Oakes Farm Shop Balsall Street Balsall Common Coventry CV7 7AQ 1) davey_83 @valy can order his posh breakfast, while the rest of us enjoy our full English Cheers all
  4. x2 buckets and grid guard is what I use. You don't need to touch the mitt against the grit guard. It's there to keep the dirt at the bottom of the rinse bucket and your hand can help release the dirt from the mitt. What I do is dunk, the fold the mitt like and sandwich and agitate then dunk again. Sort of like how you hand wash a piece of clothing if focusing on a stain. Also for a pre wash or to use out of a pump sprayer, use it autofoam at 10.1
  5. If you've now down that mileage with no cel light on, I wouldn't worry too much
  6. What you should have paid is the least amount the seller was willing to accept. Either way you've bought it now so time to enjoy Welkom
  7. Ello n welkom Clutch fluid change would be first action.

  11. Yep lesson learnt, progress and car looking good. Good mate the weekend complete a head gasket replacement on his Cooper S. Then got couple hoses mixed up for the supercharger and had the unit off again eek.
  12. 4th year of ownership this week and still makes me excited at the thought of driving her, even more so now as I've made it my own from humble beginnings. Still blown away and feel lucky to own such a motor. Often (if it get out the front door early enough) take the long route to work effectively doubling the commute distance, just to drive it more. Definitely one of those cars that begs a turn round when walking away and excitement on approach after a day at work. Ownership remains wonderful and a little treat every time you fire up the big VQ. Its a satisfying feeling the car exceeds my level of skills on the road/track, so speed wise I'm very comfortable with what's under the hood. Thoroughly enjoy maintaining and modifying. Really enjoy the club meets and show gatherings, plus the forum is truly a great place to spend time. 13. I never knew you did the wrap yourselves!!! Blown away as it looked fully sick! Matching brands front and back was a smart move, plus it looks more pleasing to the eye You've learnt so much about body work prep and finish and it's clear to see.
  14. Which spring did you order, did you go for the Mustang one?
  15. Wow that's mega Justin, nooooo way do I have any hope of keeping up with you on an sprinted drive now!!! Bet the drive home was fun
  16. Stiffer.... I'd like mine lighter
  17. Other than insurance and tax, which can be the biggest expense with running a second car/beater. Edit - do you have your Leon on a multicar policy with the Nismo or stand alone and how do you utilise your NCB?
