Valy's Zed build #Rocket Bunny >The Blackout<
davey_83 replied to valy's topic in Member Build Projects
Any updates chap and she looks rather different of late -
I don't like posts like these....... Not so long ago and it continues whereby for almost each new addition you'd start a new thread, rather than what's commonly done to update a single a build thread. I personally see this as wanting to generate post traffic seeking extra acceptance for your efforts. Don't get me wrong we all want this, but generally add to a single tread rather than multiple ones. The hunt for extra acceptance has led you to then also post on a forum in another country, thousands of miles away. I could be wrong in my understanding of why you felt the need to do so? Extra exposure will lead to extra praise and abuse, as sadly this is the world we live in. My advise (not that it should ever be utilised) is to carry out mods for 'you' and do what makes 'you' happy, clearly you already do this however the hunt for additional 'love' leaves one open for abuse. You appear to shrug off trolling alot better than I ever would. I'm not particularly fond of the additions to your Nismo and that's not a bad thing otherwise we all have the same mods. However I can appreciate the effort, love and passion for self expression. The attitudes seen above in red are unfortunate and more so for those individuals who allow negativity to become them, which becomes automated in day to day live.

That's not even close to passing either pal, not good. Where would you even look to position another cat?

The fronts didn't look too bad before and look even better now. Possibly the left rear is causing the steering wheel to be off center.

Bilt Hamber Auto Foam Gtechniq W60 Iron & Fallout remover Left to dwell and agitated faces/barrels. Turtle Wax Hybrid sealant applied wet, rinsed and dried. https://streamable.com/gl3lx

Very nice use of your surroundings chap!!! Looks real tidy and works well, I can see side steps next?...........

I'd have definitely had a Dyno run before and then after to see what's what in terms of performance. As you know a cleaner burn can increase both performance and fuel economy, when driving normally.

Any chance of booking the area at the side of the main hall by the grass? Run the risk of the weather, but we do for every other show on the calendar. -
I had Tomei Poncams fitted to my Almera GTi SR20DE and these were a plug and play application, with gains throughout the rev range so it is possible to do. For a more track focused application, sacrificing low end for middle and top seems a given. Re the timing, I don't think you'd be making the power you are being a tooth out. However if you've read similar issue over the pond, it might be work a check. I doubt you'd gain any more knowledge from here than what Jez would have told you at the time sadly. However I'd personally look towards fueling as no doubt the fuel pump and injectors will be working very hard to keep up.

Welkom back - sticky around -
I'd say the cams are bleeding off the compression, so I'm surprised to see the C8's noted as suitable for stock bottom end. Seems higher comp pistons are need to pull back what's been lost.

davey_83 replied to davey_83's topic in Local Meets Across The UK
It use to get busy real early as parking was at a premium, since then they've improved the set up ie x3 times as much so it fills up slower. Plus I think folks know they can arrive later in the morning, which works for everyone. -
Are you still using the stock fuel pump? If so fueling at top end may be at its limit.

No worries Cal ask away, no not mapped hence the O2 spacers. Been over 2 weeks with a fair amount of driving and no eml as yet, fingers crossed it'll remain so. Yeah soaked the wrapped and damp installed which allows for better fitment and less shards. Heat cycled the ceramic and so far still looks great. Also if anyone was interested, I used 15m of wrap to do the below

On the market for a 350z and the Milleage is confusing me *HELP*
davey_83 replied to UsmaanAyub's topic in 350Z General
Hi, alot of 350z aren't daily drivers so mileage for some can tot up real slow. MOT history online will validate mileage along with service history. 7k is a very nice budget and should land you a tidy 350z be it a low mileage DE or higher mileage HR.
