isn't it more 'ev' is a what looks to be final piece of technical evolution of road car type personal transport. moving on from a very old cave man fossil burning technology. so then if you want the best all round for personal transport it's an easy answer. all advances and improvements the last 40 years after hydraulics are of the electric type so the clear obvious and major gain is that final propulsion bit. even more so in the sporty ones -road and race. where the design and advantage is always an electronic tweak. the beauty of the Z is that it's a throwback - manual, rwd, mid size n/a making medium power. - there's not another one out there. just need to get an ecutek and remove that pesky tc.

awesome. pizza from costco! it's also the only place to buy cheddar in Japan larger than 100g and very expensive so have done a few holiday excuses conveniently passing 100km ish away to do some cheese and pizza missions there. they just aren't into cheese! i ended up bringing 10-20kg cheese from mostly lidl or whoever's on special a few times. back breaker dragging those lumps around. we always get a few large pizzas to take away. so big and so cheap. no nsx's? have been checking lately and looks like Japan still aren't letting too many tourists in would be there!

looks like japanese magazine cover i have. yes the magazine has a cover sheet! are they su's being replaced by webers? was there a radiator cap change, themostat change or something to go with with ditching the overflow? I did similar on my 70's car and now that it dumps it on the ground rather than sucking it back in so i'm thinking what are the options. doesn't really matter as i spend more time under the bonnet than road time so i'm ok with it if just have to live with it and refil. I also tidied my washer motor and carby using vinegar to clean it. it did a good job but corrosion comes back. what's the after cleaning secret there to keeping it shiny? footwell side boards fix details isn't boring. : ) I replaced mine with american oak ply veneer.

this would be good day all round. I had the bike on the gp circuit here day all day last Monday. Chickened out and game over late in the day when the rear got loose on Graham Hill bend. - was a bit rainy in morning and late but got a few dry ones in the middle. I practiced the lap in the days before by playing gt6 on ps3 in a black 370z - lots of bumping and grass and gravel time - only because i don't have bike game for this track. might not be in the country then though so can't commit. Would hope they got tokyo bananas on sale as as Japan not allowing entry at moment so I can't go also would need to have to have a go in the drift taxi.... now looking for ways to prolong the stay here..........

I had similar. Grinding 5-6th on a similar mileage 2011. I was 2nd owner and had the car less than a year and it had come from a Nissan shop with the Nissan cared4 (factory approved used car) warranty. Repaired under that by Kaizer - non factory shop but authorised to repair and a recognised GTR specialist. Was told it could be possibly because previous owner maybe used to lean or have some rest hand on the shifter type action while in gear. As a result happier it happened as it's one of those things you can't easily check and I now have the proof of inspection and rebuild. And always been of conscious not to lean on shifter! But I already knew that as I run another car with full mechanical linkages all the way from box to shifter and a mechanical clutch so all too well experienced with how over 50 year old technology and parts and the gearbox connections and linkages wearing out and being forced to do clutchless shifting that goes with it!

I have optimate 4 which is advertised and sold for bikes but is a 12v trickle/smart charger that I've used to bring car batteries back to life after a couple years non use. I also use a couple of the Aldi battery chargers that are sold to use for both bike and car. they been keeping an car aldi car battery charged for over a year that's used less than monthly and also motorbike gel batteries that gets similar use.

Modern updates I put in include are electronic ignition and Toyota Supra seats. I got it running last year and licensed. fun to sit in and rev engine. Full service history since, not from dealers but from what I'd consider better as done by a Nissan specialist shop who's also officially approved by Nissan to repair warranty work. Kaizer as found on this site. Slighty over 40k miles, roughly 47. Issues: It did lose 6th gear so was rebuilt under warranty by Kaizer. - which I feel is good to know has been fixed and so also inspected. Essential ( I would consider ) modifications: Custom exhaust. From a builder found on this site. With a mechanical butterfly valve built in so to have a straight thru system available. This gives the best of both worlds, I like to hear me driving and I also got nice neighbours. The mrs says it sounds better than benz gtr she played with at her work as she works for them but she also has confused for it when she saw an Audi TT or 350 on the road so maybe what she think doesn't really mean anything. Ecutek. Pops & bangs, valet, normal, fun? modes. Abbey Motorsport. Eibach sway bars fitted. low mileage MPSS tyres fitted. Reverse camera. self fitted. Uses standard built in functionality. No serious track work done- The only activity was I did a lap of Nurburgring with the Mrs, at more a Sunday driver speed. Which is how the car was used. No daily driver or commuting. Actually I think probably a plan would be to go to Grove Autos. I was referred to another approved repair shop in close by to them who used my mobile pics I showed here. Sounds like Grove know the way to get it done and have the experience in dealing with Nissan.

Also at the moment I'm not able to follow up on my recent efforts with this problem but I will resume this one when I can. I've been concerned with this happening since I've had the car so was not surprised. Reason being is always after washing it while taking the windows up/down the dry window while up when brought down and back up again will be wet. I figured this means there's water collecting inside the closed door with the windows fully up. I did ask somewhere that knows this type of car due to that concern having water inside the door would lead to this and was told it's normal. In the meantime. have given it a good wash and covered the areas with acf50!

Never when there's any buildings, cars etc on the roadside.- built up zone etc. Never when there's any other moving vehicles in the vicinity. stick to the limit on the those roads and cruise control is set to 70 on the highways. Inc those 50 zones of so called 'roadwork' everywhere. I cruise straight thru them and have never got a ticket in all the years-M20, M25, A1/M1 recently. M20 at Dover end was set with that 50 average check for about a year for some 'traffic flow testing purpose' so would have gone through a fair few times. It's all too hard in those areas. I have no idea, are there prizes or something for doing 10mph under? or stopping for some hazard light on emergency picking up smokes or something from the shop or stopping on continuous road to let someone enter the road or someone cross the road. Plus all the roads are so narrow. Maybe head out for a lap from about 4am in summer on country roads only where's there's no development on the roadside or in view. Problem then esp beginning of spring is there's lots of mainly birds on the road. It's annoying but I guess the good thing there is that it's not Kangaroos or Camels. Chuck in a yearly trip to Scottish Highlands, Wales, Germany. But for me cars are a bit more for cruising slowly. I have a bike that got to the track 15 days this summer just gone for my fun motoring stuff.

yeah, my pics look v similar to yours. pics are of outside and inside. I made sure to let them know that if the pics don't make it easy to assess and perhaps to make an assessment based on them.(mobile phone pics on a black car under dull or flash) I made sure the offer of bringing it in to view first hand was available. Repair shop says over the months they needed to repeatedly ask Nissan about the situation. Body shop have now told me I need to go direct to Nissan to continue with it.

I've got a similar door issue. lower down at the bottom of the door though. Repair shop is a Nissan approved one and came recommended by one the best garages in the area on this forum and I was told by both it should be a warranty repair. Similarly it all falls apart when it comes to Nissan with: 1) Dealer rejected for same reason. After being really slow and taking a few months for a simple inspection piece of work! Body shop is following up as they advise me they don't agree with that.... 2) Build quality. - rust appearing after 6 years! About 2), I had this concern when first getting the car. I thought that the chassis and engine bay area looked older than it should for it's time. My efforts at keeping it clean seems to have kept that under control. I couldn't understand it from a car of that age and not being living ocean facing and finally I thought it must be caused by the salt on the road..... but now I believe it's more of a material and build problem. Guess while mine's in progress I'll try keep an eye on this one as it's gotta be dealt with.

I'm working in Cambridge at the moment. Went into the mall last evening and on the left is Krispy Kreme and the right was Tesla. I didn't know which to look at first! 2 that have no comparison A few years ago when I first came across the S, was pre UK release days immediately knew I wanted in just by seeing it drive past it was easily noticeable as different. Soon realised this thing is in a different league. all I knew is that I wanted it so I went and bought shares in the company as it was the only way to get in at the time. Outside of roadster. Sure gotta agree that either way I look at it that 0-60 is super impressive. Model S with less than 5 years development+45min warm up+2.3 seconds in a family car V +100 years dev + all the big $ in the world and still can't do the most important and only bit that counts. 5 years further development time lookout! I didn't know that about the warm up wait time but with that sort of behaviour that waiting time is normal. What crazy person gets out the front of their house in a cold car and dumps it? As a car, there's no reason I'd go ICE over tesla. As an motoring enthusiast, I'm of a view that my 76 LX Torana was modernised as much as I wanted it when I changed from points to electronic distributor(anyone tell me why use points?) I think they suck. And that's as far as I want to go. Interior gets Supra seats over the standard issue. The 370z is nice with all the new stuff. I figured the button on the door unlock it this year after 2 years of owning. Is the Electrocet real?

Brave brave man hahaha. thanks. but not brave at all. was first time - I drove the z to the ring. and hired a KA from a local operator. In the end it was the right decision and very well worth it- the KA operator also took me for a lap in his ring purpose setup m3, we didn't get passed! This guy is good, plus he also used to hire out a 350Z - until a customer broke it in 2015. And in the ring setup KA you can go full power most of the way around. I also wasn't prepared to go out without insurance. I'm not rich enough to be able to afford not to have cover. I still wouldn't take the bike on one of those free for all car days. That's far too dangerous. It's bad enough for cars - on a nice weekend day you'll spend more time waiting in the carpark while they deal with casualties than you get track time. Even better that going solo on the bike, last year I saw a pillion do it! As the track will be bikes only I reckon I can give that one a shot. good spot TT. nice and central.
