  10. Why is magnatec getting such a bad press here? - I confess to having used it in the past!
  11. My money is on the door seal - mine became dislodged slightly at the front and the water was pouring in. It must be coming from somewhere almost directly above the pond as its a pretty small area for it to get into
  12. Good luck with the search
  13. Welcome - We get across to York reasonably often, so might see you. North Yorkshire moors have some great driving roads and the Lion Inn on Blakey Ridge is a good lunch stop.

  15. Hi, got my turbo stripped and cleaned (it was seized solid with carbon) and have noticed that one of the vane stems is bent at the top - see photos. Anyone got any experience of these turbos? - the bent one does not look right at all! Thanks for looking.
  16. That noise! brought a silly grin to my face. Exhaust was glowing nicely too. Can they go round corners too?
  17. Nice to see three pedals and a stick in action for a change. Thanks for posting
  18. my galaxy ace S2 does not work - model no GT-18160
  19. glad you sorted it - i'm going to have a go when the time comes
  20. On mine it was very easy to see that the banana arm bush had failed, as the arm was sitting right down on the mounting bolt - you can see it if you look under the car behind the front wheel - you may be able to move it at the chassis mounting if its failed like mine - but your mechanic would surely have spotted this
  21. I found when bleeding mine recently that it helped to have the car revving to get the pump producing some pressure and the coolant circulating faster. I had the bleed valve completely unscrewed and just waited for a decent airless flow to emerge from it - just need some rubber gloves to put the valve cap back (wish I'd thought of the coke bottle trick!)
  22. v nice, but rear plate is wonky!
  23. great shots!
