  1. You should try some lightweight 18's if you think your 20's have transformed your ride Would be useful if you added some info for members, what you went from and to (without searching your old threads
  2. Couldnt get my head around paying 10k for what is in essence a car that was released 15 years ago, i dont see it being worth twice ish what a reasonable 350 would cost. I would be more inclined to find a fi'd one, i am guessing you could buy for one less than this, but thats just my opinion, variety is the spice of life and if you have an itch, which it seems you do, scratch it
  3. Agree with the above, one of the best looking cars on the road and they sound spectacular too
  4. Are you going for an off the shelf conversion kit? Good choice on the 366
  5. Personally i think they will steadily come down just like every other mass produced fast Audi, like DT says, not so long ago they could be had for £35k so cant explain the hike, maybe because its summer? After a couple of drives (not for any length of time and in the V8) i found them rather dull and uninspiring, sure they were quick enough, but there was no sense of occasion, maybe the v10 would offer something that got the senses going a little more.
  6. why were you looking ? are you tempted ? Not yet as I was hoping they'd be in the more achievable £30k territory by now, as per my original post. Really struggling to find anything interesting under £30k that wasn't disappointing or involve monster running costs so I'll either be keeping the 350 for a lot longer or doing the very predictable "upgrade" to a 370 soon. Test driven the C63, 996 C2, 4200GS, Vantage 4.3 and XK 4.2. Evora, Cayman and E92 still on the to-do list. C63 was the best of a bad bunch thus far (monstrous torque and messerschmitt noise) but just looks like a C class with 4 tailpipes i.e. not the gusset-moistener it needs to be... *cough cough* e63 M6 If he thinks a C63 is better drive than Cayman theres not a lot of hope TBH. I think the "gusset-moistener it needs to be" speaks volumes, which to be fair, is absolutely fine if thats the preferential box that needs to be ticked We all have those boxes that we want ticking when buying a car, best drive isnt always at the top, would be a bit boring if we all wanted the same thing from a car
  7. A friend did this last year and said it was an amazing event/ride/get together
  8. Don't forget to use the chemical weapons to finish off any stragglers Nice bit of napalm
  9. Might be a different dude, just they were talking about the leader of isis and some of the atrocities he has carried out and other such things as the above and wondered if this was one and the same mentioned guy!
  10. Head inland from Poole/Bournemouth then, some lovely villages. I think you need to do a bit of a road trip and have a look around, to be honest, i barely notice tourists as there are plenty of places they dont know about, you would only notice them if you stick around the main towns.
  11. I didnt It was on the radio, why do you know different??
  12. I am just down the road from the Shed in Bournemouth/Poole I personally couldnt say enough good things about the place, its truly a stunning place to be, beach on your doorstep and countryside a stones throw further. I avoid "town" these days as its a bit of stag and hen do and studenty place to be, probably because i am old though The only thing i will say is property is expensive, it can get busy in summer, but you soon would know where to avoid the crowds. As you go further west or inland, Bridport as its familiar, it starts to get quieter and more rural. The only other place i would consider a move to is Devon/Cornwall.
  13. Abu Mohammed al-Adnani is that the same dude that married a 6 year old....... What a fantastic religion....................NOT !!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. On a 2nd look at your photos, seems the face has been polished, so guessing there was some superficial damage, perhaps corrosion from time so the engraving has been polished out.
  15. I have never seen a fake Veilside before. More likely to me is its been refurbed and either been media blasted and sanded down loosing some of the depth or been polished which again lost some of the definition, possibly some damage occured to the spoke resulting in the need to tidy. Put some better pics up, preferably the whole wheel. The only way you will get around this is find a single replacement and be lucky or have all the inscriptions smoothed over and refurbed.
  16. Personally think the restrictions in radio transmissions were fantastic, Lewis just had to focus on his race, not everyone elses.
  17. Probably because we dont feel we have a nationality left after having the life sucked out of us by the eu. Imho i think there would be a fair turnout as this seems to be an issue that concerns the average man and woman. Britain might be great again rather than a bunch of unelected bureaucrats in Brussels telling us what we can and cant do.
  18. Highlight of the season: Christian Horner saying to Brundle on his grid walk, shame you were too old to have been able to drive here, Brundles instant retort, shame you werent fast enough to get into F1!!!!!! Owned
  19. 5 seconds over 40km at absolute top pace (apparently 21mph is a very very good average), think i would prefer to have hairy legs Smooth haired, lol, isnt that a contradiction in terms, either your smooth or haired
  20. Am i understanding the proposals correctly, we will have a central government voted in by the UK but each region, scotland, england, wlaes etc will be run by whomever gets the most votes in that region?
  21. Seeing as this has moved far from just cyclists and traffic lights, something else struck me yesterday. I was sat waiting at the ferry after a ride on my mountain bike to the purbecks and there were a number of road cyclists awaiting too, there are good roads as well as off road that way. The amount of shaved legs (and arms) on men i saw was ridiculous, 90% +, they may be keen amateur cyclists, but really, shaving your legs, what does that add to your average speed, .0000001 mph, sorry but think thats just too far
  22. Just enjoy that they are not so much structured, a massive open map and so many different ways of going about the game, logged some 40+hrs on 3.
