The worse thing to me is, she even said, i reckon it will take about a week..... The situation is complicated so sadly cant tell her what i think, it will come round to bite her in the end though, that is the only consolation. A figure was settled on because of the surrounding complications (friend of a friend)

Views welcome: I am self employed and have been fortunate enough not to have had many issues when it comes to payment for jobs, a few incidents over time, but have got myself quite wound up today. A friend of a friend who i have previously done work for contacted me about a job they wanted doing, i went round to see what they wanted, they went through it, even said, i reckon it will take you a about week, i agreed, said i charge "x" a day so plus materials it will be "x", fine, when can you start. So went in this week, got the job done, a couple of days finished at 4 as waiting for things to dry, filler, coat of paint etc, today comes and money is discussed, so what do i owe you, "x" was the reply, ah, but not very happy with that as you didnt do a full days work on Monday & Wednesday........I explained i got to a point where i physically had nothing more i could do in the day as was waiting for things to dry etc and its still primarily a days work and perhaps i just worked quicker than someone else etc etc I understand, but you havent done a full days work.........a day is 9 - 5. I tried explaining again, i mentioned that they were happy at the overall price and felt like i was being punished for working hard, but you havent done a full days work, so i am not paying you for 5 full days! OK, lessons learnt, if ever i am not sure about a customer i usually get a signed quote returned that they agree to the price, on this occasion and i have had no problems before hand i didnt feel it necessary. My thoughts: What would that customer have said if it taken a day longer and i wanted an extra "£x"? Was i working an hourly rate? Do you go to Tescos, buy your food, go back the next day and say, i loved your steak, but i was getting what i thought i was, i want a refund?

The range they do is stunning, but not its not cheap as paint goes Would love to see the outcome if you go down that route!

If your looking for something really eye catching, plumb for a house of kolor kandy base or shimrin pearl. They do an awesome purple which I had my Volks in or if you want something more red, check out their colour, brandywine

Such a shame Cal crashed out but, made up for Brad, was welling up myself, its great to see it means so much to these boys Would be great to see them both on a full factory ride!!

Well that was eventful, not sure i have ever seen so many world class riders loosing the front without any warning. Was it the tyre or track? Also not sure if anyone caught the brief interview with Stoner and they mentioned testing and coming back, not in this lifetime was the reply.........I wonder if it will be a different story if he is on the pace when he tests??

Seems the days of rally reps are well and truly over, i am sure i read the other day Mitsubishi have no intention of any more Evos Gt86 was a good effort to grab a little bit of a fun focussed car back, but for me, it just seemed too expensive and they perhaps over estimated the amount of people that did actually want a fine handling, na, rwd car. Lets hope they release the FT1/Supra and put something sensible in it and most importantly of all, its well priced as if it looks anything like the below and has some performance it will sell by the bucket load. I would take that any day over a GTR if it was the same money and even if it was not as quick

A mate of mine has had one of these diffusers for years and swears by it. It gives an audible warning if you are targeted and allows you to drop your speed.

Interesting news from Phillip Island, apparently Stoner will be testing the current Honda, if he is on the pace, there just "may" be a return on the cards.

About $5000 plus shipping, duty etc

In a nutshell and desperately not trying to be sexist, tv Is geared towards the female audience. The conversations between my sister (god rest her soul) and mum about, strictly, dancing on ice, xfactor, britains got talent, celebrity, towie etc, let alone the chat about story lines of the myriad of soaps was enough to numb my brain, but they loved it, the scandal, the gossip, they revelled in it on a daily basis.

I get the bag thing, on VIP rides, but not on a sports car

Very interested to see what the change of tyre manufacturer makes next year, i think they were testing on Monday if the typhoon stayed away, i guess with most single tyre make series it all depends who gets the tyre to work best, as Honda have this year! Its taken over half the season for Lorenzo to get his head or bike around them! Looking forward to seeing Suzuki back thats for sure and hoping the Ducatis manage to get the harder tyre to work

Another season for broken records, youngest rider to win two consecutive world championships, since the legendary Hailwood., the boys got talent and we have witnessed history in a fashion!! Really hoping Danni gets 2nd actually, but Jorge has seemed to find some late season form like last year. Going to plumb for, Dani, Jorge & Valentino

I dont really miss any of them, apart from maybe my first car for sentimental value. The only other reason would be the value some of them have reached now, for example, 2 bay window campers i had, worth a relative fortune now and ironically probably the worst things i have ever owned!! Unless it was something like that, which i just couldnt justify spending, i would just buy another if i missed it!

But still average

Cant see Vettel moving from one average car (this year) to another average car (Ferrari), so perhaps McLaren have something up their sleeves to have tempted him, unless of course its all about the ££££££??

Pretty sure they are DoLuck Double Six, rare as hen teeth

Funny that has electric and heated sports seats AND Sparco bucket seats, lol

Miguel from Newera Imports managed to get his hands on all the cars from the first F&F, i remember them being up for sale, though they were no where near that sum, seem to vaguely remember figures of £20 - £25k upwards pending on which car. I also recall the green Touran out of Tokyo Drift being advertised a few years back. I think they have a number of cars that look identical but only one has the full monty, i.e engine work and all the spec.

Save you the trouble, there is one hanging in my garage right now any more pictures ? Its all carbon including the mounts.

I tried switching to a new converter and still did the same thing, the gauge pod followed the speedo by the way, so same as yours. I then took the converter out so it would just run in km's as a test for a week, speedo worked fine so presumed it was the chip, bought some UK clocks (£100 ish i think) and worked fine ever since, so if i was you, would try the same process to be sure.

I know the 2jz is highly regarded as one of the most bullet proof engines out there but as said above, unless you have one lying around that is already running decent hp (that will cost a pretty packet if it isnt), i would just go down the forged route and fi the V6, unless of course its something you enjoy doing and fancy a project. I would also feel far more secure building up a V6 from scratch with new parts than buying a 2nd hand 2jz which you have no idea of its history, unless of course its a recent build itself.

If you go to a decent sprayer/bodyshop they will do this for you, but would imagine the prices will be similar to the link but just in £'s, so expect anything from £250 - £400 pending on what you want done and i doubt there will be many that would want to pay that realistically.
