  1. Personally i see them as worlds apart, even though they are the same platform, anyone who wants a Lamborghini isnt going to be swung into a R8 imho. My world is changing next year and hoping to stretch to a Gallardo, but it would be one hell of squeeze the way things look at the moment, R8 will be within budget, but not a chance i would want one
  2. Is there a decent campaign on Destiny or is it more a on line experience?
  3. Lab/Con wont likely ever happen so if we do get a hung parliament again its either going to be Lab or Con with Libs again or Ukip, cant see them teaming up with any other parties to make a majority, i guess a lot depends on how Ukip do at the general election as you say. Maybe the fantastic turnout by the Scottish will inspire the country to have their say, although yes/no is in essence a lot simpler than which shower of sh... party do we actually cast our vote for.
  4. Voting Yes, but it wont be for some time, before the end of the next stay in of whoever is in government, so within 5 years.
  5. So, with the whole of the UK now together and apparently the public must be heard, will we get a referendum on whether we stay in the EU? Please can we not discuss the politics of being in the EU, just whether we will now get one and why or why not.
  6. She is probably very right, but more so for the points you make at the start. I get the feeling the Yes campaign felt Scotland would just vote for independence without having the major issues answered or at least a decent plan, there was too much, it will work out fine, without much substance imho Had they answered or sorted the major concerns, they probably would have faired much much better.
  7. 85% from the reports i have seen, massively impressive though, apparently the turnout for the general election was more like 55%. I would imagine Salmond will put the usual political spin on it and say so long as they get more devolution that is what he wanted so its a win win I would hope this signals the way for change in this United Kingdom, so can we please have a vote to leave the EU now
  8. Well done Scotland for such an incredible turn out, as we know from the threads on here you were very passionate one way or the other, so pleased to see that was represented at the polls to give you a definitive answer, although quite close
  9. I love gtr's, I want one, but dont think you could ever say its good looking, purposeful, but not good looking
  10. Seems like some action might be starting, France calling for country leaders to meet to see how to address the issue, Austrailia carrying out anti terrorist arrests on Muslims looking to behead a RANDOM individual on video drapped in an IS flag. Yet still what staggers me, the Muslim community in Oz defending the ones arrested, doing themselves or their legitimate faith no favours imho, why dont they understand, its nothing to do with being Muslim, its to do with wanting to cut someones head off!
  11. The holy grail of car ownership, how about a Honda Nsx, very similar performance to the Zed, achingly beautiful and definitely wont loose money, probably make some
  12. Like your very one and the photo, the op's photo is my favourite Zed
  13. You can pretty much make anything fit, whether it will still look like a 370z bumper when your finished is another matter, is it a simple fit, no. Imho just buy one of the above if its inspiring
  14. There wasnt a great deal of difference to be honest, they both got a hurry on if needed, the petrol was smoother (unsurprisingly) and had a bit more grunt when it came to hills, the diesel was a bit sluggish on any sort of gradient and needed kicking down a couple of gears if you wanted to maintain a speed. Bought both of mine directly from the auctions at the docks, never had any trouble with either (few worn bushes but that seems common on imports) and sold them both at a small profit over a year or so later. If the auctions ever come back will have something similar again for sure
  15. I had two Largos, the 2.0 turbo diesel and 2.4 petrol, excellent bus, both were similar on fuel but thats the only thing that spoiled it for me as a daily, i didnt find them that economical, no matter how gentle on the throttle, 25 mpg at best round town.

  17. Dont think they are rare enough to worry about personally, something like a NSX would be a different story
  18. Same reason I wouldnt track the zed, cost of repair if I'm unlucky/my driving ability doesnt compensate for a burst of stupidity. Something light, 2 seater but still road worthy as need 2 cars. Lotus Exige?, but still going to cost If you stack it on track, any car will cost on that basis unless its completely disposable, mk1 mx5, rx8 as an example
  19. As above, find this pretty interesting, as r35 prices keep coming down, will r34 prices have to fall to stay in line so to speak?? Or is the r34 considered a classic now?? Much as i would like a 34, as tricky says, ignoring the r35 would be difficult as prices get closer. Why do you discount the r34 for the track?
  20. If Keith Huewen is to be believed he reckons Marquez would win overall as he is consistently quick, Stoner more hit and miss, would be the battle I would love to see though. By all accounts there is lot of animosity from Lorenzo for Marquez's overtakes, just annoyed he keeps getting done over if you ask me

  22. I think it was mentioned on commentary that when Maquez remounted he was lapping the same times as Pedrosa so effectively when chasing Rossi, he was .5 a second quicker than he should have been. Honda dont do well at that track with only one win in recent years so wasnt surprised to see a Yam at the top, but surprised it wasnt Lorenzo, maybe he just took the wrong punt running the hard front? I guess your referring to Marquez move on Lorenzo at Silverstone, got to be honest, i saw absolutely nothing wrong with that, Lorenzo wasnt on the apex and left a gap, sure he must know by now Marquez wont need a 2nd invitation and should have covered it, but still, didnt have the fight or pace to keep challenging from that point, there seems to be an almost inevitability that once he has passed they kind of give up if they cant pass straight back.
