Do you mean just the lid of whole compartment? Whole compartment just screws in from behind, so centre consul out. The lid also screws on once off, but dont loose the springs and note their position for when you put in back on.

I should also offer a big thanks to the boys and girls from the Zed Shed, although I havent had to call on their services, yet, they have all been very welcoming, helped out with emergency parts, countless free advise and also liberated me out of cash, but how handy having a "parts store" up the road

That was tricky, trying to form It around double curves or compounds took some patIence, but It is quite stretchy. Top tips are: Prep work, I thoroughly wiped down all the plastics with thinners, white spirit or acetone, caution with acetone It will melt the plastic If your too liberal. Just make sure any silicon residues from dash cleaners are gone, It is very sticky stuff but if not thoroughly cleaned, it will lift. You can pull away once stuck like vinyl to reposition, but keep to a minimum as It will loose stick If you do it too much. Worst thing, If any large areas stick back to itself, game over, you can just about pull small sections apart, but forget large areas, consign to bin. If you gain access to an extra pair of hands, that would help and work on a flat clean surface

Same as vinyl wrapping really, is not as malleable, but it can be stretched/formed around shapes. I bought it from ebay and did it myself.

A few interior shots With a very minimum outlay you can loose a bulk of the plastic that generally isnt liked on here and make it look a little more pleasing to the eye and touch Alcantara/suede style wrap on a pillars, airbag & behind gauges dash plastics and a spray of the main centre consul, same as wheel lips which is a NIssan Black with very slight gold metallic. Also changed to Uk clocks and gauges. Will probably get the seats retrimmed at some point in alcantara centres/leather sides as find them pretty comfy and have some bucket seats for track days! Also looking to get a decent gear knob & alcantara gaiter and maybe some more trimming here and there. Stereo is chinese something or other with everything on it, two Alpine amps, one for JL Audio under strut sub and the other for Infinity door speakers. Engine bay shots coming soon

I think he may have to stretch a bit if he wants a manual, but you will probably get something for £4500-£5k that is mechanically sound but needs a little tlc bodywork wise, i reckon you could get an auto for that as they are not as popular and only imports.

I have too, but when you do get let down, nothing, if your paying for a 24hr service and its delivered in 3 days, you might as well have paid for the cheaper service, they should at least refund you the difference imho. Just a warning for members anyway, it seems recently their service is slipping and more so, they offer no guarantee on seemingly anything.

Been using parcel2go for a while now without issue. The last 2 parcels i sent, one a 24hr delivery, took 3 days to get there, the next, no collection on the booked collection date. The kicker, none of their services are guaranteed, so in other words, they charge for a service they dont have to deliver on (excuse the pun) AVOID imho.

Went out with a ride the local bike shop organise last night (mountain bike) and no one had a problem with any motorist when we were on the road parts One thing that did strike me though was, how dangerous are clip in pedals. Fine if you have time to think about it, but aint no chance your getting your feet out quick in an emergency. One bloke took a minor wipe out on a little trail, lost his balance an just couldnt get his feet out, i then witnessed what i can only describe as what looked like tortoise on his back, the guy was lyint on his side trying to get unattached from his bike as he literally had no way of twisting his feet sideways to release himself, unless he dislocated his ankles

I'm not that keen a cyclist (I'm fat and unfit) and use it as a form of exercise I just think this thread has been very short sighted. I don't know the answer but I'd start at grass roots by making sure kids get the training like we used to as I don't believe this is funded anymore. Sadly its not short sighted, you are most definitely in the minority, its pretty much everywhere you go these days, there was even a tv programme about it not so long ago! You argue motorists break the law almost in defence, although i would agree, but its a risk, speed cameras, cameras on traffic lights etc When did you ever hear of a cyclist getting stopped for jumping a red light or speeding?

So whats the answer Fodder? Sure your on a car forum defending cyclists but this is the general feeling brewing, its been in the news, social media etc etc Perhaps its the highway code abiding cyclists like yourself that need to address the issue, rather than get tarred with the same brush I would say most of us on here actively avoid the stigma of boy racers or chavs and try to show the public and other drivers, by means or organised events, drive outs, even forums etc we are in general law abiding motorists who just have a passion for cars or modifying them! Personally i think its up to you keen cyclists to clean up the reputation of the modern day cyclist!

I get that, kind of like Lorenzo in this years MotoGp, just cant adjust to the new tyres and the way he likes to ride. The only reason i ask is because Vettels talent has been questioned, not just on here by the way, be interesting to see if he can adapt or find a set up that works for him. Obviously his fans will support him, thats why their fans and whilst i dont find myself gravitated to him, i hope he does, because like it or not, he wins will be attributed to the car he was in which is what a lot of people think anyway.

Where did anyone say he is a bad driver?? And of course he was better than Webber, but is Webber better than Hamilton, he seemed to beat him a fair bit when driving the RedBull I thought i would mention his string of bad luck though as i presumed it would get bought up and he has been unlucky, no denying it, so supposedly then, can you count his good luck winning him a championship when he was punted off the track and in the side but still managed to continue in the race ( last race of 2012?) where he beat Alonso by 3 points? Would you say at the end of this season he has been unlucky but in 2012 he was lucky to win? You will always have luck, sometimes its good, sometimes its bad, thats just racing! There was a lot of people tipping Vettel for the win this year, lets forget dnf through mechanical failure and chalk that down to bad luck if you want, when he has finished he has mostly been beaten by his team mate (often qualifying too), a 4 time world champ in the same car being beaten by the number 2 driver, sorry guys that doesnt strike me of a "special driver" or "cut above the rest".

So whats the answer gentlemen, if any? Or will it take something tragic before something is done??
