  1. Almost posted yesterday, been a few delays with having to get things at last minute, namely wheel spacers for my fronts, extra work getting shoddy replica bumper to fit properly, but, i have been promised the car for the weekend
  2. If I am using my tablet and reply to a quote as soon as I start to type something beginning with I, is it or in for example, the cursor jumps to various places with the quote as soon as I type the next letter after the I, anyone else get this?
  3. Zonda Clubsport P1 LFA and a couple of project cars, mabe a rx7 with a triple rotary built using 12a rotors and 350z with gtr running gear.
  4. Given say the 50k difference, I know you could easily match If not better the hp, do you think you could match the handling? I guess yes, but its then a tuned gtr you would unlikely get your money back on, I would imagine the Nismo will hold its value? Dont get me wrong, Its a huge sum of cash, but, if you wanted something equal to its performance from a road car, I dont think 125k would even get you close.
  5. Absolutely, redefines definitions of fast. Official figures for my zx9r were 0-136mph In 10.36 seconds. Got very close to those figures with my last rx7, but just totally unuseable on the road! Miss bikes everday, but would never want to ride on the road these days
  6. Oh, thought i would forget one after going through someone else list Toyota Celica GT4 T160
  7. an allegro that almost beats tatooandys princess If the allegro was brown it's a draw Blue, with a fetching blue plastic interior, including seats Next to my mates Simca 1307 (brown incidentily) it looked positively awsesome First car and best car i ever had, never had so much fun in my motoring days. You could drive into mates cars, go off road with the old hyrdolastic suspension, just do anything and not have a care in the world! Sure it was an absolute piece of sh*t, but it was mine, not mum or dads, mine, freedom for the very first time!
  8. Its obviously not easy for refs, split second view and decision, but, they do give fouls (occasionally) for what they think is a dive, but very rarely hand out cards, yellow at best! If someone dives or the ref thinks they have dived, red card, you can also use said video evidence to over turn a refs decision! I watched a bit of the Brazil game and whilst it was a hand ball by Hulk, there is literally no way the ref could see it, the linesmen werent flagging, so how did he make that decision, it was just opinion from perhaps body shape and ball control. I think the refs assistants (linesmen) should play a more pivotal role, 4 or 6 eyes are better than one and all that!

    My Supra

I will do it again one day but have learned many a lesson. The only way i would ever start a project again is if i had literally everything to complete it to exactly the spec i wanted first time, money no object etc

    My Supra

Purely for the labour of love I got bitten with the tuning bug and seeing this list brings back many a memory, i admire your dedication
  11. No different to a deliberate hand ball or foul, its just very difficult to prove if the contact caused the player to fall. Refs should be much tougher, same goes for shirt pulling and arms or hands around players in the box under corners, there is absolutely no need to touch another player with your hands!
  12. Lifetime warranty sounds good to me
  13. Just saw something on a Dave tv channel caption. Suarez for golden boot, he would bite your hand off
  14. Very true, so why mention your Gtst was faster in a straight line?
  15. Yes sorry, i didnt add the T, although i thought that would be a given Still dont believe there would be anything noticeable in it between std variants
  16. The perfect comment! No one would keep a car they didnt enjoy and when they find something they like more or suits them better they move on. I had exactly the same with the Rx7's I owned, I tried other cars but kept coming back to them as nothing put the same kind of smile on my face, until I bought a 350. The Rx7 is faster (tuned) handles better, arguably better looking, but 95% of the time I know where I would prefer to be and thats in a 350, its just a much nicer place to be. I am under no illusion there are better cars given a particular criteria, but as a complete package they tick the boxes, which leads nicely back to the op's original post, no one would be jealous or a hater if they were anything but desirable.
  17. Shortly after i got my 350 i posted about a trip i took to catch up with a friend, a, b and m roads and was pleasantly surprised at how well it dealt with all of them, personally i feel the 350 is much more than just a gt car, it does everything well and there in lies it biggest attribute for me! Stick in on a track and it will hold its own, of course it wont be faster than a Vx thats designed for that kind of work, but in general its a very very capable car, not just a cruiser imho! Depends on what you have driven. I had a VW Scirocco 1.4TSi better in the twisties than the Zed, my 18 year old R33 is faster in a straight line than the zed. I think the zed is pretty average in the grand scheme of things, its does lots of things 'pretty' well, but none really well. There are cars that sit on the extremes better. For me, of all the cars I have owned the Zed worked really well on big A roads and on motorways with lazy power. Anyone that thinks its a great B road machine clearly hasn't driven something that does b roads properly... Look through my car history If you want to see what I have owned. I never said the Zed was great on b roads either, i said it was good at everything and more than just a gt car, maybe its just in the ability to get the best out of it Put a std R33Gts against a 350z and there would be nothing In it in a straight line, so i dont really get your point that an easily tuned turbo car Is faster in a straight line?
  18. Always a solution, look forward to the finished results
  19. due out this autumn although non of them are Liberty walk bodykits there kya koto or something liberty walk are like west coast customs just top the parts together It will be Rocket Bunny branded, they have just released their Rx7 kit, identical really Are you getting any further Grundy, just hit the same wall with mine not clearing the Brembos so going to effectively end up a -4 et on a 9j and they work pretty well, nothing more major than an arch roll and some stretch (235/35), just gives a nice bit of poke Will get some pictures up when i get it back next week
  20. I would be the same sadly, probably a safe buy though, cant see it depreciating much
  21. Yes i know its been set up to be fast, but just over 7 mins at the Ring is simply outstanding, there is a whole heap of pedigree and exotica way way off that pace!!
  22. Sadly for English clubs Man U started this years ago as they wanted to be able to compete in Europe, they were paying silly money for players a long time ago, Ferdinand for one, 30 million in 2002!!!! The rest of the UK top clubs then had to play catch up and spend big. Its all become a bit of a farce if you ask me, isnt Rooney being paid something like 250k a week??
