  1. I sort of get where your coming from, most dealers will have no idea of the history of any given car, except whats written down in the service book, they buy from auction, ebay even or trade ins, but if they think there is a margin and its a good car they will buy it and mark it up. There has always been people "trading" cars for some extra beer money, its nothing new, if you feel he is a trader and trying to pull the wool over peoples eyes best to report the matter to the relevant classifieds if it will make you feel better/ If its a grand over priced not sure why you would want it anyway
  2. On that note why us it so god dam dear to supercharge the zed Interesting topic, i was perusing Nsx's the other day as it would be a car i would like to own, having realised in essence the base Nsx is on a similar par performance wise to 350's and the Type S (a bit better) and the Type R (better) are astronomical money i started scanning forced induction kist for one, $10K plus a base kit which is going to work out similar into £'s. £3600k from Tarmac for a 350 kit (not as expensive as even the above) Its obviously they just feel because the Nsx costs more they can charge more as they are appealing to a wealthier demographic, sure the products may vary slightly, but in essence its still the same thing, some tubing and a supercharger of some make and description (in basic terms). P.s Before anyone says i fully appreciate the Nsx is way more than just hp levels, but couldnt justify £25k to have a good that just looks better than a 350.
  3. Relief to know no money will be wasted on court cases, prison etc Just so difficult to believe there are individuals like this is the world, sub human!
  4. What is wrong is the gap between the 'haves' and the 'have nots' has meant the ability to keep up in the development stakes is meaning too many teams are just not able to compete - in fact this year that applies to the whole grid given the money that Mercedes has thrown into their team. I believe this to be the point more than anything else, but how do you control It except budget caps, which will then deter the bigger outfits?? MotoGp had the same problem, not enough teams and riders on the grid, I think from memory a few years ago there were 14 bikes on the grid, In the pinnacle of motor bike racing, the sports spectator numbers were dwindling and they had to attract new teams to want to enter. They introduced what they call an open class, I wont go into the details but there are now over 20, 30% increase, pretty good achievement and with Suzuki coming back next year the sport is on the rise again. They still have to adhere to the 107% rule or whatever It is % wise but they are allowed certain concessions, more fuel, more tyres and different compounds etc there is effectively a championship within a championship. F1 needs to do something for sure!
  5. What's wrong with that, unattractive ladies need love too. And often far more grateful and keen to please Rent going up is my thoughts
  6. Interesting topic, so what about if Lewis breaks down, gets punted off by someone else basically a dnf etc and Rosberg gets the win, makes no difference if it was double points he would still win the championship by 1 point, would he not be a rightful World champ?
  7. On a similar topic there was some cctv footage a couple of years back of some "yoofs" trying to pick a fight with some dudes dressed up as women on the streets of Plymouth, turns out said dudes were cage fighters on a fancy dress night out, didnt end well for the yoofs in an alarmingly quick time!!!
  8. And here in is the issue, have a look through history, whites were used as slaves (and the above) long before the "black man", but for some reason some want to cling onto it!!
  9. Nothing exciting, have always been Jetpilot if i can be, not because i fly jets, but it was a brand associated with Jet skis
  10. There is a reason Ukips popularity is growing quickly and its certainly not because people actually believe Nigel Farage will make a good pm and i guess that says it all.
  11. An unprovoked attack on a white guy from an ethnic minority, surely thats not racist? But had roles been reversed, surely it is racist? Or so it would seem these days........
  12. Quite an interesting topic, cant quite believe modern day oils would not need changing after 6 months, unless of course the car was thrashed within an inch of its life on a daily basis, but a quick oil and filter change would be relatively cheap, so why wouldnt you.
  13. Thanks Alex, what would i expect to get from those, 12500 miles Yes, if you are not tracking it. I have done 3000 miles in 18 months with a new R35 and 2000 will have been track miles. I am just about to put on my 5th set of tyres. On my 6th set of pads and 2nd set of rotors. Done 10 engine oil and filter changes and 5 tranny fluid changes and 2 diff. Alex. So a set of tyres and pads is effectively returning 500 miles give or take with track use, thats obscene! Any reason why, weight?
  14. Modding costs? Is that the usual Stubby and spacers? As all the UK GTR's look exactly the same. Because it has a decent value, i could justify a set of Nessens for it
  15. Thanks Alex, what would i expect to get from those, 12500 miles
  16. I can get rid of 100 quid in fuel in the 370z easy I'm convincing myself here that a gtr wouldnot be to bad lol Not worried about fuel, my tuned rx7 was returning an average of 9 mpg.
  17. Modding costs is par for the course imho Thanks for you help Alex, could you just shoot out some rough costs, i.e tyres, pads, discs from x to x etc,
  18. I will want to do a few track days, it would seem this bumps up costs massively.

I have been doing a fair bit of reading on GTR running costs and as usual with the web, there are very much conflicting stories and most of them are from a few years ago: But basically, tyres, discs and pads are all a common theme. Presuming as time has moved on more companies are offering alternatives to oem Nissan parts and have already checked out Litchfelds service prices, what options are out there in terms of cost for, tyres and brakes and how many miles would you expect to get from both with general driving and the odd trackday?
  20. why? What's frightening about a Russian pharmaceutical billionaire? I wonder if thats "prescription" drugs Did anyone see have i got news for you last night, by all accounts our gdp has been worked out to include prostitution and drug revenue, around 5 billion on each
  21. If you trust him you will love it, if you dont, stay well away
  22. Not watch it but after previous attempts of making the jump across the pond of US derived shows i am not sure i would, need i remind anyone at the UK's efforts at Pimp my ride take off I like the US storage hunters but team Brando do my head in, especially when the wife comments on someones weight, maybe she might find a mirror in one of her containers one day, lol
  23. How long before the gov step in and increase duty to compensate for the loss of revenue from it being cheap at the pumps!!
  24. Not in any form of defence as i have never used them but Super 7 Autos does hold high regard within the rotary community. However, the bill does seem highly excessive to say the least, maybe there is something else to the situation we are not aware of as cant see anyone thinking those prices are acceptable.
  25. I hate to say it, but really not sure a 350 is a good place to start because of the weight and expensive service items, tyres, brake discs and pads, spares arent going to be cheap if your prang it etc Especially a nice Zed like yours, buy a cat c or d and strip it within an inch of its life imho
