  1. Is that an AIT kit buddy?
  2. I guess you will probably find a lot of the love for "old" cars is nostalgia for us oldies, fond memories of days gone by or maybe even cars that were out of reach as we were youths but we can now afford. I am not sure i believe the hype of people wanting "drivers cars" either, i didnt see many of these people shouting about how great the gt86 was dipping into their pockets, i often think people get too swept up with thinking its cool to proclaim to be "purists" and "drivers". But, Focus or Escort cossie........Escort in a heartbeat please or Sierra if i had a choice
  3. So i couldnt sell my SSR's so decided to get them refurbed and use them for the track and get rid of the Te37's Couldnt resist being lairy so went for Kawasaki green Before: After:
  4. Talking helmets i bought one of these a few years ago and very happy, not the lightest but good value for money, i do a bit of karting so went for a full face although they do open face opens. http://www.v2sport.com/Pro/V2pro-black-snell-sa2005-msa-standard-racing-helmet-with-chin-skirt-for-open-cabin-vehicles.html
  5. Thanks mate, i may well just follow a link from tricky and use the existing rails, cut the ends of and weld on some an6 fittings, from what i have read they are not too restrictive, well good for 500rwhp or so. Could you pop a link up for the rails anyway please.
  6. How much were your rails and do you fuel pipe size id Andy?
  7. Just waiting on some prices from my buddy who does high pressure hoses etc. Also trying to find out the hose size required, i.e internal diameter.
  8. Fitted this month with the renown Vortech Supercharger at a cost of £7800 by experts Horsham Developments Ah sorry, I read that as the clutch has just been done, reading again it does sound like its just fitted. Usually a simple explanation for selling, i have never felt the need to ask a buyer why they are selling, its for sale and thats all i need to know
  9. You might find some stockists have a splurge out of old stock some time in the new year to make way for new models but unlikely before xmas.
  10. Discussing this very topic in the wanted section at the moment as I am looking to build my own system as I think the costs for some aeroquip fittings and hose is exessive in the pre built kits.
  11. Am I missing something, how do we know its just been done?
  12. Anyone booked for Donnington on the 28th?
  13. Looking forward to it, although not a true huge fan so wont be rushing out to see it
  14. What an incredible piece of kit, guessing it would be a bit "peaky" though in its power delivery Maybe a detuned version will end up in road cars or one with 3 extra cylinders bolted on. Something like: http://www.holeshot-racing.co.uk/index.php/engines/h1-v8-busa
  15. Always surprised when you see a car that has had a lot of money spent and is a labour of love and it ends up with a sh*t advert with a paragraph written.
  16. Sorry cant help with experience but at £35 it would be worth a punt, I have spent a lot more on supposedly good replicas and been very dissapointed.
  17. I cant remember but will have a check, that sounds like a bluetooth thing rather than not connecting to the ecu.
  18. I am running the std Vortech v3 fueling, which is an additional in line pump and fpr, but std injectors and no return. 356rwhp, Jez had no issues but it is maxed out at that
  19. A mate of mine was the spitting image of Rick, poor f****er
  20. Always had a soft spot for the sl55/65 amg but not keen on the new, one grill fits all design imho.
  21. I know the Mx5 boys use mini superchargers, i think they are Jackson ones to be specific. I see no reason why if you have the skills you couldnt "make one", but there will no doubt be a lot of trial and error with the results. Buying a Vortech, Stillen, HKS etc etc you are pretty much guaranteed a given hp give or take. When all said and done it will probably cost you more to get the equivalent from the above.

    Fuel return

http://zchickz.com/fuel1.htm Another good link, listing all major parts, off to see my buddy, list in hand to get a parts total, will report back.
  23. If you can get to pretty much January without the need for a winter hack, i cant say i would be bothered for maybe for the first three months of the year. I know we still have the possibility of some dire weather but unless you can break clean and clear i would stomach the odd day to come.
