  1. Maybe my maths is out, so what your saying is to get 320 rwhp you need with your pricing: Long tube headers £1500 Cams £900 Install £1000 ish Uprev (guessing a fair amount of dyno time) £500 £4k give or take Sorry, but thats no where near £1.5k for 320 rwhp And from bitter experience, start chucking in larger throttle bodies and you will completely ruin the drive, it will only work well on full throttle. I am fi and no fuel return system or ecu, 356 rwhp
  2. No, lol, i had to look it up but do remember it well as they put the Rx8 round at the same time (same laptime) and i was always interested in rotaries with my Rx7 ownership and found it pretty interesting that is was the same time as the M3 as well
  3. Fujitsubo now sold and a few interested parties on the magnaflows, please lock thread
  4. 1.31.8 Same as an e46 M3 Get your flame suit on
  5. Sorry buddy, if it were as simple as a set of long tube headers/rev up cams and "a few other little bits" to see 340 rwhp the world and their dog would be doing it and it has nothing to do with people shooting down na tuning, even the specialists tell you your wasting your time.
  6. I am led to believe it wont work as your key is coded to your ecu
  7. That is the Gt spec apparently Only quoting what i have read by the way http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/62153-seat-weight/
  8. Seats arent supposedly that heavy 20kg inc rails, aftermarket recliners about 10kg, so your saving maybe 20kg pending what you buy, still a good chunk but not as much as you would think.
  9. Rear hatch swap for carbon, std are pretty dam heavy, its easy but not cheap
  10. ^^^^ Much more sensible approach, the 350 is either 100bhp light or 100kg to heavy imho.
  11. A curious question to Gman, are you saying, its not our fight so why should we put our soldiers in harms way? I watched a documentary on WW2 the other day with regards to Hitlers planned supergun, designed to be fired 24hrs a day with London as its sole target. No military targets, no factories etc its sole purpose, fire artillery on London to break our resolve. I am guessing it was lucky we managed to blow it up before it got a chance to operate so we will never know if it would have had the desired effect, but, is this not what we and everyone is doing now, trying to break their resolve? Whilst it cant hurt to destroy their infrastructure i think it will need a lot more to eradicate the threat.
  12. With so many other countries already carrying out air strikes I am not so sure its an agenda just with our pm and the Uk. What with Iraq and all the hype with weapons of mass destruction scandal are we now dubious of "motives", has the Afghan conflict soured us to the actual point and effectiveness of "war". Personally had we gone into Afghan and smashed the Taliban out of park we as a population would be more positive of results and has the Afghan conflict also sent a message to Isis and others that us being involved wont end up in their impending extinction?
  13. I am not adverse to air strikes, but, I feel there needs to be a clear, concise plan with everyone (varying nations) in agreement of a course of action to complete the task of eliminating isis, not, well lets see what happens with joining the airstrikes.
  14. So looks like there will be a vote in the house of commons, thoughts?
  15. Collect and sold, thanks Sherlock and Dean
  16. Accurate as ever I am an enthusiast, but, the drive is not the be and end all for me, so if i think the Porsche is ugly and sounds like a wet fart, i am abstained from owning one?
  17. 4 seats, tuneability, practicality, pinnacle of JDMness and lowish residuals if youre buying secondhand. Look, Im not saying that a GTR is a bad car - its not, its awesome and Id shake anyone who chose to buy one by the hand. What Im saying is that for most normal, god fearing people who dont already own Nissans, Porsche as a name carries a lot more prestige and positive association than Nissan does. Im not making any judgement on anyone who chooses one over the other but I cant accept that people will actively steer clear of a Porsche because of the badge and walk across the street to the Nissan garage instead because of its more positive perception as a 70K car to the general public. Jaguar, Mercedes ........ even Tesla, fine, but not Nissan. Your spot on, of course Porsche carries more prestige, however as before and i mean this hand on heart, i would never ever nor have i ever wanted to own a Porsche, end of, full stop. Porshe owners round here are fat balding 50+ men who drive round town parking as near to the local wine bar as feasible possible, the only time they go over 4k revs is probably when they sneeze, status symbol and nothing more and probably sadly for me, its soured the badge. People buy for the badge all the time, you really believe they dont? I have said elsewhere i have some affluent mates who, one is a Porsche/Bmw man, one is a Ferrari/Mercedes man, another one doesnt care, Porsche/Ferrari/Bmw/Lambo/Gtr whatever floats his boat at the time. The Ferrari/Mercedes man would never buy a Porsche, he hates them. Same probably goes for the Lambo/Ferrari thing, your either in one camp or the other.
  18. Plenty of people are dropping 70k into a Nissan rather than a Porsche, got to be a reason for that
  19. Your only 500-600rpm away from redline, its power has got to tail off somewhere. Decats and light weight flywheel will free it up a bit more but in essence, they are a big lazy V6 and never really going to be anything different unless you force induction them
  20. Hope you get these sorted mate
  21. Mother of god, it seems it really does take all sorts. The GTR is a big, heavy 4 seater that feels like an A4 to drive unless youre on maximum attack, suffice to say the Cayman doesnt. 370Ad, I can see your point but what if you dont get IMS (like 95% of owners dont) .......... or if you buy a car with a DFI engine (post Jun 08)? Its not about how capable the car is, its what the car says about the owner, doesnt matter how good or bad the car is people buy the brand that they want the world to see He is not wrong Doc (well not round my way), granted the Cayman/Boxster S are great cars, but, you/Ekona would probably be in a very very small % who buy for the drive rather than the badge at the front and sadly, all along wishing they could afford a 911 A mate of mine was a prime example, he had a Cayman S and what did he trade in for when he could afford it, a old 2nd hand base model 911 convertible of sorts.
  22. Cobra set up sold pending collection.
  23. Joe Soap here............ GTR please and no not because i am a Nissan owner or fan, given the choice i would have a Gallardo over anything sub £100k
