  1. So exactly the same as 90% of the malware out there! Not sure i have known of anyone loosing their life through malware You would have to be unhinged to want to take control of a car and have it perform evasive action or stopping it on a road, of course anything is possible
  2. Interesting, although i see no benefit or gain apart from someone wishing to cause possible road chaos.
  3. P.s That wiring looks like an absolute pigs ear, I would be tempted to see if you just cant buy a new harness for the stereo, relevant iso connector and simply plug it together, rather than what you have of nissan connectors soldered onto pioneer harness.
  4. Just taken a fresh look this morning, what have you done with the black iso connector, have you plugged the two black connectors together, the ones with the red and orange wires etc
  5. Yes, but have you checked you have 12v at the connector, just to eliminate the obvious, is the stereo fuse intact in the fusebox in the drivers footwell. Always worth checking the obvious.
  6. To eliminate the obvious, have you checked you have 12v at the connector block?
  7. A good little read and some entertaining jpegs He isnt wrong though, "to find the limit you need to cross it", if anyone has watched Marq Marquez he works to the same tune, just the big difference is, he mostly does it in practice so he knows come Sunday morning
  8. I must admit, i can see where Doc is coming from, unless your hankering for the V8 or M3 looks, which to tbf doesnt really look any better than the 1 imho, the 1 series is an attractive package at half the price. I havent been in a 135i, but have been in a 1M and M3, the 1M was much more memorable and felt so much more nimble.
  9. Water injection or water/meth is incredibly simple or can be, no need for anything as complicated as a piggyback controller, its pretty much plug and play and operates of boost pressure, or if you want to get fancy you can have progressive controllers.
  10. Standard catalytic converters or high flow cats, do you have seperate back boxes. I would imagine from your description you have seperate, it will be your exhaust packing/wadding disentergrating and catching fire, nothing to do with your plenum spacer etc Japspeed are budget exhausts so materials used are cheap.
  11. All exhausts are legal, unless you find a paticularly stringent mot tester who thinks its too loud, but you will need cats to be there to pass an mot. I have not seen a comparison table but a lot of manufacturers list weights and db's. If you want loud, I would go single exit or armytrix.
  12. The exhaust packing in your backbox has probably given up the ghost and disintegrating or possibly cats, are they standard or hfc's?
  13. Ricey, if you could own anyones 350 and anyones 370 whos would you pick
  14. Well, yes it is actually. At regular speeds I'm going to stick my neck out and say that both cars have gearing vaguely the same: We're not talking about a Caterham here that tops out at 110 in 5th! Are they blind then? Nonsense, hence why a supercharged zed at around 300bhp per tonne would even come close to a gtr in std trim (yes 4wd) or a chipped 135i Agree with the Lambo comment
  15. Not quite as simple as bhp per tonne now is it guys, what about gearing etc
  16. Good price, but your only talking a synchro mesh or two, not a full bearing/seal etc
  17. You have a point, but the difference is, its an RS, anyone who appreciates cars knows exactly what it is and they know its not a chavved up Focus or even ST. If anyone turns their nose up at you for driving an RS, they really arent worth worrying about imho.
  18. Have a great day mate, look forward to another track day or two this year
  19. Clutches seem to vary massively, all depends how its been driven, definitely worth considering a fund to allow if its not been done.
  20. Good shout actually, if i was going down Ze German route i would much prefer something a little more offbeat
  21. I dont know if thats a good or bad thing, same as the numerous threads on here where people think the 350 is something its not, i must have had a handful of people say, is that a Porsche, i think i should badge it back up and avoid the insults
  22. Also in the dream garage for me, but unless you can do the work yourself I just shudder to think how much it would cost to pay to have the work done. A mate of mine has one sat in the corner of his bodyshop, the owner has poured a fortune into it already, he pops back from time to time, writes him a cheque and says, how much can we get done with that, it gets done and then sits there again until he has more spare.
