I've just been sick in my mouth

Good find, but that is some seriously dry reading! I love the 3 level "square" plates. I want 3c.
-
Nice. You got the skills to pay the bills bud.

Supershots, the Zed and the Bonnet are both very nice Are these straight off the camera or perfected afterward? Just curious.

Handing a car back PCP before the terms up.

As above, if you give them an honest insight into the situation, and you're lucky enough to speak to a human, they might give you a break. Not massive, but best to keep financiers in the picture if you can. Good luck though, if they're total pricks about it then you've got no real recourse. Failing that CAB. -
I imagine our super geeks can get a handle on user's IP addresses, but I'm just guessing. Failing that, can we get Edward Snowden? I hear he's out of work these days...
-
Wow, that escalated quickly. Kids these days eh? He'll be alright one day, when the mid-life crises kicks in. Unless of course someone drowns him first. Probably a despairing parent style figure.

I recently hada couple of the Tommy K Zs off rob, I really liked the finish. Decent quality.

Reckon we can get a group buy going on CV joints and fitting. I've read through guide, it's past my skill set and tool set by miles!

My understanding is that it dissipates voltage which, for whatever reason, builds up in components. Instead of randomly discharging or interfering with ecu signals and sensors, it safely routes them off to ground. I think the controversial bits are (a) you'd imagine nissan would have grounded the car properly, so what difference would it make? ( the voltages we're talking about are very small, some might say negligible, so they make no odds. There's some blurb in the link in my original post, which I've now re-read as I bought it quite some time ago before fitting. It neatly captures some of the benefits I mentioned, so I should have already known this stuff! However, I'd also read lots of info saying they were snake oil and not worth it, which is why I only expected a nice cosmetic benefit.

Just wanted to post about the positives of a h-dev grounding kit which went in on Friday. http://h-dev.co.uk/p...oducts_id=25417 I must admit, I selected it as a nice bit of colour to liven up the engine bay and match my new red hoses, intake, panel and strut brace. I wasn't expecting to notice anything when driving the car, just when I'm looking at it. I can honestly say I am really pleased with it, not so much the look as I'd hoped - you can't really see it that much with the engine cover on!!! What I am really pleased with is the difference it has made when driving around town at low speed and especially at idle. I used to get a little kick every 20-40 seconds when idling at lights, this has now totally gone (touch wood) and I also noticed whilst driving around in 2nd/3rd at low revs/low speed the revs pick up (and much more noticeably) drop off more smoothly, straight from cold. I got it as a styling mod, but it's delivered more of a technical mod than I'd expected. I know they are a little controversial amongst opinions, but I'm really happy and impressed with it. I must admit, the hoses were all changed at the same time, so it could be them, but I don't think hoses would make a difference like this - though I am happy to be corrected by the more experienced and knowledgable people on here. For £30, I don't think you can go wrong IMHO if you are considering one, especially if you get the occasional rumbles at idle like I did. Thanks for tuning in.

Window reset works, for a while, then doesn't - auto drop
Stutopia replied to Stutopia's topic in 350Z General
As soon as I touched the nipples with a screwdriver the whole window started bobbing up and down like honeymooner's ass. Took it out, give the nip a tweak, reseated it, now working like a charm. I'll keep an eye on it and see if it keeps working, failing that I'll be on to the Zman for a replacement. Thanks for the tip on this Neo. Much appreciated. -
Yeah, I'm a bit of a tart. If I have nice photo I'll post it anywhere! Not just for Hondas, they now look after at least two Zeds I know of

Window reset works, for a while, then doesn't - auto drop
Stutopia replied to Stutopia's topic in 350Z General
No I haven't, but I will now. Thanks for nips tips -
Had the passenger door card off this morning, reset button depressed, window down, little wait, reset released, rest pushed, all the way up, little wait, reset released. Tried the door, auto drop worked like a charm about 10 times (thorough testing). Door card back together, another round of testing, all great. Hour later I go for a drive, check passenger door auto drop when I park, not working, grrrrrrrr. The glass doesn't collide with the frame, so no damage, but it should work and its getting to me. Could it be whatever tells the door it's open, not working? If so, where is this "sensor"? Could it be the glass isn't sitting straight? it looks spot on to the door frame when it's closed, but the scraches stop about 5mm above the waterline when the window is fully up? Any other ideas at all welcome. Thanks.

I rented cars off and on for 18 months before buying the zed, with a variety of parking assists. I can't speak specifically for those posted but I found sensor type aids really paranoid and more than a little annoying. However, I found reverse cams to be very useful, it'll be a mod I get around to sometime soon.

I've used http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/ in the past, just don't trust their "put your reg in and well find it for you", it's misled me before on zed bulbs, can't remember which, possibly indicators. If you know the bulbs (from here, manual etc) and fitment you want, just search for them and you'll be away. GL.

Good enough for me.

Can I use that pic for the new website Stu ? Looks awesome Of course! I'd have taken my proper camera if I'd known, and some lights, my mankini... How do you want to work royalties? One off fee upfront or % of sales back end?

Been back again today for drop links, which were picked up during the P3. Thanks to Alex for the drops and Grinspeed for fitting, as ever, exceptional service and great value. It's an education to watch them work, while I eat a donut. Got fully stickered up too! Drops (thanks Alex) Hoses (thanks Cougar Store) & Grounding kit (thanks Horsham) & matching Samco intake (thanks tony.r123) Undertray (thanks Tarmac) I did manage to mess up the only job I'm qualified to do though, stickers (decals for hipsters) think I got away with it... I'll be back soon enough for the dreaded clicky rear axle, stage 1.

Big thanks to CS, my engine bay project has actually started to look like it's going somewhere thanks to the Samco hoses which have just gone in. Cheers.

Used Tarmac Sportz for quite a few things (nuts, undertray, lip, pulleys and also for decent free advice) and I've always had a top notch service from Chris. Just wanted to say thanks and good luck with the improved site.

She went on like a dream this afternoon, well they would do when you get a pro to do it and she's already on the ramp for drop links! Words can't describe the difference in look a feel this has over the plastic thing that was previously hanging in this space by some seized nuts and cable ties. Cheers Chris

Wish I'd seen the Wasso spacer before I ordered my motordyne, not that I'm unhappy with it, but these do look better.

Cool as. It's one of the cars that got me interested in cars as a kid. It still looks futuristic now.
