  1. Is it not a bit harsh lumping anyone who's got any kind of modern electronic device into one pot? If we're doing that sort of thing. What is the approved list of diversions for someone who grew up in the post spinning top era? Also, how does the rating system work?
  2. No. Idea was solid, execution couldn't have been worse. Girls like that eat cotton dipped in pineapple juice, not ice cream.
  3. Is that Scent of Ring? Not usually into smoked lights, but it looks well on black. Nice Zed.
  4. Looks mint.
  5. Like this type of thing? http://www.tlg-auto.com/Nissan_Z_Logo_LED_Projector_p/350zled0009.htm
  6. to big school I spend my working life cleaning up s**t other people can't do correctly - first, second or third time around. Do it yourself, or, let some other p***k do it first, and then do it yourf****ngself anyway. For whatever reason, some people think that at work, near enough is good enough. The rest treat things as a matter of personal pride. Guess which group is bigger? Guess which group moans most about not getting promotions and pay rises?
  7. FTO or a GTO? What about the working man's sports car of choice, Ford Capri? Classic.
  8. I have the HPG up at 100, sometimes 120, to calm down the rears. Not tried messing with the gain yet, think I'll have a look.
  9. Ta. Anyone got any spats other than the Nismos? Don't seem to be many options...
  10. I think he just really loves his bug treats.
  11. Thanks mate. It's a Circuit Sports from Steve @ Redline. Don't think he has any in stock, but very definitely worth a PM. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/59705-350z-carbon-fiber-rear-diffuser-in-stock/
  12. I was curious about this as my previous owner liked a stealth mod. Dyno run seems to be the option most suggested.
  13. As used by Ray Mears, US navy seals and most importantly, me in the Amazon. Everything tries to eat you, everything hates it. http://www.raymears.com/Bushcraft_Product/314-3M-Ultrathon-Insect-Repellent-60ml-Lotion/
  14. Nice Zed, second fastest colour too. exhaust looks mean.
  15. +1 upper plenum isn't too bad either! Nice bay.
  16. I haven't heard it hit one yet, and the humps at my work are pretty high and steep. I'm not lowered mind. Do it!
  17. Well it probably took some minerals to say it, and he must have meant it, you could have bounded off to his Mrs after all; so it's not something he'd do on a whim.
  18. No you don't, you buy it so you can be Steve McQueen everyday! Very nice motor. I bet with that unit and some tinkering you could do something about those horses? How long does it take for Mustangitis to take hold?
  19. Thanks for the positive feedback gang.
  20. As promised, justice for the diffuser, top bit of kit, if I do say so myself. Weave!
  21. 5 weeks, that's insane! Are they growing the stuff off the car like an ear on a mouse?
  22. Top job. I think I'd like to promote my amp from boot to glove box. Looks very tidy.
  23. It's been tough not having her for 5 loooooong days, but finally got to pick my Zed up this afternoon from sunny St Annes Body Centre (https://www.facebook.com/pages/St-Annes-Bodywork-Centre/227248237368799). I can't say I've particularly enjoyed the mindless chit chat with taxi drivers each day, but I did enjoy showing my Zed off this afternoon. Thanks to Jon there, really pleased with all the work. Super excited about the results, hope you all don't mind some light pic whoring. New lip (thank you tarmac sportz ) very pleased with the final result. The front bumper has also been done as it was starting to look like a Maccy Dees trainee assistant's boat race. A previous owner had done a not so smart repair on a wing mirror, so these have gone gloss black. The door handles were bubbling up through the paint from behind, so they have been resprayed, as close to OEM as they could achieve. Very pleased with this as they really showed the car's ages, until now that is. Cheeky little step down the side. I quite like these, relatively subtle. Courtesy of aerokit. http://www.aerokit.e...?product_id=110 Last, but certainly not least, rear diffuser thanks to Steve @ Redline. Extremely pleased with this, but the photo doesn't do it justice. Something I intend to remedy later on today. PS - I know a diffuser with no spats looks stuck on Chris I'll be in touch...
  24. You have a Mustang? Can we have some pics please? I love them. Purely from a detailing POV obvs.
  25. 'twas only a pun
