  1. MPSS totally transformed the feel of zed from the mixed Bridgestones which were on when I bought it. If you can, you won't be disappointed.
  2. Don't stress about the good price you paid! That's something to be happy about not sad. Would you feel any better if your paid £1000-£2000 more for the same car? I paid (what I've now learned from here) was over the top, for a low miler to make me feel less paranoid, but I still brick it if I hear a knock or rattle! The way I see it (for what it is worth), by paying less you've got better capacity to absorb anything that quite likely may not occur in future. Stick the money you saved in the rainy day bag under the floorboards and if it builds up, you've got a modding budget with some contingency on the side. Look at the Zeds on here, there's some beauties with way more miles on the clock and tons of happy owners (who also have miles on the clock). Chin up mate, you own one of the coolest and rarest cars around. I'm a firm believer that karma comes round to the kind of ******* who key cars.
  3. Gutted mate. If I was to sell mine the only other impractical, gas guzzler I'd want is one of these. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201307217928765/sort/default/usedcars/model/mustang/make/ford/onesearchad/used/onesearchad/nearlynew/onesearchad/new/page/2/radius/1500/quicksearch/true/postcode/fy14qs?logcode=p Rubbish colour but you can soon change that!
  4. perhaps the Zed should be green too, not seen any of those round here.... Good luck in the hunt.
  5. More driver focused? When I get in I feel her give me big hug and start purring. Presumably she had some suggestions for the upgrade?
  6. Wow, that's impressive. My iMac gets that hot as soon as I run football manager for 30 minutes and it's basically a giant heatsink!
  7. Another satisfied customer from Alex here, same problem, kit solved it. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/54896-clutch-slave-cyls-braided-line-and-fluid-kit/
  8. Just out of interest, what sort of tempretures do the internal sensors return under "spirited driving" conditions?
  9. I'm not a pro but some sort of polarised filter might help. You'll still get some glare but it might help. http://www.cambridgeincolour.com/tutorials/polarizing-filters.htm
  10. Media centre for the lounge?
  11. Scorpion isn't the world's most expensive, sounds decent (perhaps too quiet for some). It's loud enough when you go for it though and looks good, if you like the slashed tips like me.
  12. Is it not a bit harsh lumping anyone who's got any kind of modern electronic device into one pot? If we're doing that sort of thing. What is the approved list of diversions for someone who grew up in the post spinning top era? Also, how does the rating system work? Hmm, not harsh, just another observation. Spinning top? I grew up with a gird n cleek., search that on your ifanny Ha! I bet when you first rolled that hoop all the way down the street, there was an oldie with a glum face, sat on a bench saying, "if only he didn't waste all that time gird n cleeking, he could do something useful with the time".

  14. No. Idea was solid, execution couldn't have been worse. Girls like that eat cotton dipped in pineapple juice, not ice cream.
  15. Is that Scent of Ring? Not usually into smoked lights, but it looks well on black. Nice Zed.
  16. Like this type of thing? http://www.tlg-auto.com/Nissan_Z_Logo_LED_Projector_p/350zled0009.htm
  17. to big school I spend my working life cleaning up s**t other people can't do correctly - first, second or third time around. Do it yourself, or, let some other p***k do it first, and then do it yourf****ngself anyway. For whatever reason, some people think that at work, near enough is good enough. The rest treat things as a matter of personal pride. Guess which group is bigger? Guess which group moans most about not getting promotions and pay rises?
  18. FTO or a GTO? What about the working man's sports car of choice, Ford Capri? Classic.
  19. I have the HPG up at 100, sometimes 120, to calm down the rears. Not tried messing with the gain yet, think I'll have a look.
  20. Ta. Anyone got any spats other than the Nismos? Don't seem to be many options...
  21. I think he just really loves his bug treats.
  22. Thanks mate. It's a Circuit Sports from Steve @ Redline. Don't think he has any in stock, but very definitely worth a PM. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/59705-350z-carbon-fiber-rear-diffuser-in-stock/
  23. I was curious about this as my previous owner liked a stealth mod. Dyno run seems to be the option most suggested.
