Try the first part of this. Good luck. http://www.350z-uk.com/index.php?showtopic=45398

Just out of interest, what would you suggest is the nailed on "best" off the shelf system? I'm thinking gains, not volume.

I read on here is paired to the ecu, so in and out fine, but different Zed it needs a code. Legal Disclaimer: I read this, I've not done it

I thought the normal response was to PM all mods and then storm off? You could tell from the post it wasn't a rant, just a question.

It can happen, I did a course, it was less horrific than you'd think, there was no patronising or belittling. In case you didn't guess it's not run by the LAPD (Lancashire Area Police Department). I too have been surprised by the way the Zed picks up speed, without much effort, without a drop of gear and without an appreciable notice in "feeling fast". One of those things to chalk up to experience.

Think I've got one fom the box of stuff that was ripped out. Will check and get back to you. Assuming it's there you can have for postage and a small donation to the forum honesty box?

Looks the nuts mate. This carbon business is definitely contagious, I wasn't a fan but I keep seeing very nice examples on here which really lift the, not awesome, Zed plastics. Given the time it must have taken, seems a very fair price.

Nice job, never really thought about the underside of the bonnet.

Completely agree. I dont understand people who start build threads because theyve swapped the aerial or gear knob - nobody cares about your knob I think on this latter point you need to remember that for many people this could be the first forum they have ever been on. Suddenly they are introduced to the world of modifying. For me and you, nothing short of FI or an engine pull would constitute a "build". But for someone new to forums, who is possibly already mid way through a midlife crisis, changing an aerial or gear knob is something massive and completely away from the norm. To them it's a build. Also, sometimes I think newbies want to feel like they fit in. And with so many people doing things that could constitute a "build thread" they feel they are missing out. This me, guilty as charged. I just want to be part of something awesome on here, never done anything like it and most people's feedback is usually honest, you see loads of "I really don't like those wheels!". I know some show mods on my Zed are not as interesting as loads of the incredible technical go mods. But as with any post on the Internet or social media, or anything you say in conversation - deep down we all want some kind of validation, like "nice fluffy dice" or "where did you get that set of valve caps" or "I wish I had the skills to do what you've done in your engine bay". Go easy on us, we just want to be part of the gang and learn from the serious modders.

Big fan of Richer Sounds, I've bought nearly all my stuff from their over the years, for a couple of reasons. They stock stuff which is either end of line or a new model has come out, so some extremely big bang for your buck can be had. Their extended warranty is the only extended cover of its kind I would even look at. All other cover is a rip off, not this; free servicing, you get a free loaner unit, lasts for 5 years, plus other stuff all for about £10 or 10% - worth looking at if you do shop there, it's called Supercare. Customer service and staff knowledability in my many experiences have been great, non pushy sales team too. This isn't like going to get "advice" at PC world! As for the actual headphones, not tried the Bose, but I did recently buy some headphones which I love. They're not noise cancelling, but they are noise isolating and I put them in at work all the time just to drown out the racket, you just need to trial the various buds which come with them for the snuggest fit. Best of all the sound is superb, particularly the soundstage, in my opinion. But buying headphones (like all hifi) is very personal, the sound I like, you might hate and vice versa, so I'd encourage you to demo any headphones you're thinking of spending decent money on. Try and take your own music device and listen to familiar music when you demo. For what it's worth, I went for these, there also some other suggestions in the thread too. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/71336-need-headphones-look-no-further-get-these-sony-xba4ip/ Good luck, hope you find something you like as much as I like mine.

Not met you BBK but I've read enough comments on here to know you've been on the look out for a special lady friend. Congrats, hope it works out as you wish. Back on topic, I've noticed thumbs from bikers in the Zed, it's usually cos I've moved over though. I used to move over but never got as many thumbs. Back off topic, is it too early for a ?

This is interesting, can you really see anything? Is it not all inside the black hole machine? (Back off, I'm a scientist) -
If he's getting a QQ he is paying a supplement, regardless of spec. It doesn't cost anyone anymore in tax pounds over if he had a fiesta. The award is the same, the bill is the same. Why does the car type matter if the cost is the same to John Q Taxpayer. If disability is so cushy just wander in the traffic, it comes with a discounted heated seat so it's well worth it. Someone please say they're planning on becoming disabled for the awesome perks, just one, pleeeease. Did I say disability was cushy? "NO" did I say I want to be on disability "NO" The point I am making is that no matter how much it costs the OP has a valid point, if you need a mobility car then you should get something that costs rock bottom and gets you from A to B resulting is the least cost to tax payers. If you get a mobility car and select something like a top spec qashqai it doesn't cost you anything other than a one off advanced payment of something like 500 quid then your good to go. Simply incorrect. The amount deducted from your DLA award changes by vehicle, in addition to the upfront one off payment which can be 500 quid or zeo for some, simple, vehicles. Have a read here if you want http://www.motability.co.uk/whats-on-and-get-involved/fundraise-and-support-us/why-we-need-to-fundraise/ Note the contribution to scheme from voluntary donations and also corporate contributions.

True story. They're already doing this (albeit through private healthcare professionals not neccessarily via the NHS, though GPs and other professionals do provide reports on disability of claimants) through the PIP reforms. The lifetime awards under DLA (which is the gateway benefit) are ending, all DLA claimants will eventually be reassessed for PIP and those with conditions which are likely to change over time will be set reassessment dates or in many cases (if the ESA migration from IB is anything to go by) will have the benefit reduced or stopped.

Yeah, but todays pensioners paid for there pension in advance. Its not their fault the bankers fecked their investment up. Also the government don't take into account "top up benefits" like tax credits. Some folk get more top up benefits than someone who doesn't work. The number unemployed and receiving benefits is misleading to say the least. The government would rather you worked a few hour a day and get top up benefits instead of being unemployed because the numbers look better at election time! That first section is bad mate. Is it disabled people's fault [A] that they're disabled or the bankers fecked up the entire economy (whilst the government and regulator stood by and did zip)? Of course it isn't. Some motability claimants do pay tax, right now, because they work. It's not a means tested benefit, so they've contributed like you or I have. Many had previously paid in, before life changing events, so they've contributed. Some are too disabled to work and pay tax at all ever, which let's face it, is no picnic whatever car you have or what it cost. Some are statistically likely to be fraudsters, if these are the ones you're after I totally agree, but all this "stickers" and "deserve it" or "paid in" stuff is crazy talk. No one is that mean are they?
-
Your missing the point! At no point have i suggested that disabled folk should suffer. Do you really think that being given a simple car, fit for purpose is "tough luck"? It should be take it and use it or leave it and buy what you can afford! What is the difference between getting a standard focus for say £200 a month in benefit, and giving someone £200 a month in benefit toward a car of their choice? The cost to the state is the same, but the person gets a choice in how to utilise it. it makes no difference o the bottom line. Unless of course the idea is simply to make people with disabilities easier to spot?

What about people with disabled (not just physical it's mental too) kids they need to take about to school, to care homes, to the park, to the cinema, to anywhere. As for public transport, I drive to work in 10 minutes. It's 30 minutes on a bus, with a 15 minute walk on the end, with 100 yards of no path along the roadside. Plenty of people with disabilities work and pay tax too. If your is not an idealistic point of view, it's a financial one, go after Trident or the tax breaks the government grants to huge global corporations. The money lost in fraud on benefits is less than that lost in errors in over payment, that's simply a fact. http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2011/feb/17/benefits-overpayment-fraud-welfare-reform-bill

It's not means tested because the benefit is to offset the cost of disability, this is a cost regardless of how rich you are, much like education is free even if you are rich. As for the big logo, I can only assume this is a joke. Motability awards mean the claimant can choose to top up for different vehicles, so it's not simply ask for an M3 and it turns up outside freshly detailed. Living with a serious disability is not something that's even close to being made up by having a benefit to get assistance with car ownership, would having a disabled child be ok for you if he/she came with money off a GTR? If it is that great a deal I assume you're planning to hack off a leg and get whatever car you want? Massive win yeah? If a minority of people take the **** out of the benefit system, there's no need to punish people with genuine needs.

So, if I understand this, the d!cks are the Police, the @rseholes are the people who commit these offences, but then that means if you're not a cop and you're not an offender, you are a pu$$y? I don't want to be a pu$$y -
