  1. What is the best foam to use with the Karcher , I've used the Halffraud own brand and its not that good. I use valet pro snow foam with my karcher, smells awesome, but what foam gun are you using? The karcher one I had was rubbs, if you're using that, it might not be the foam letting you down Will. http://www.theultima...-snow-foam.aspx Its the one that came with the Karcher 2,, got a plastic bowel under it. I think bowel is the right word, cos they're fairly s*** mine is accumulating dust and waiting for me to wash the downstairs house windows. I was much happier when I switched to the PA lance, nice brass fittings and user serviceable. http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/pa-foam-lance-cat2.html

  3. Not done much, I can show , for a while so I couldn't resist posting up, even though it's a boring mod. I got some good price sound deadening to try and help the speakers out inside the car. You can see I've expertly followed the precise contours of the boot mat I have enough left over to do another boot mat size amount, so if anyone wants it, drop me a PM. No charge, except the post (which will be a few quid as it's quite a size).
  4. Get a Cayman! IMHO it's major selling point is that it ISN'T a 911, so Porsche aren't handicapped by being forced to have the engine somewhere miles back, beyond the rear axle. Either way, they'll all be pretty awesome!
  5. Weird isn't it? In the work car park I get comments like, "How much of a wedge must you be on?" from people driving 2 year old, 5 series Beamers Pop 2 seats out and people think you're a millionaire.

  7. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/82015-wales-2014-raffle-prizes-tickets/ How have I not seen this, great idea I just hope I can do it correctly
  8. I watched it and I was really disappointed it wasn't about the engineering, I thought there be loads of detail on how they actually make it, not the garish interiors they dream up for people with more money than brains. I'm not down on wealthy people doing whatever they want with their cash, but some of the stuff they have is awful. Case in point, the Rolls Royce picnic hamper. It costs £20k and RR said most people never ever use it, it's just to "complete" the experience. It's just excess weight, get it out! Anyway, the most startling thing I personally felt was how having a truck load of money seems to inversely affect your ability to see when something, or some component, is just plain ugly because of its badge and/or price tag.
  9. Er, didn't they say China is like one of RR top 3 markets in the show? Communism works, just not for everyone
  10. Mine doesn't move around when it's seated correctly, but it does really "clip in" as such. PS - Sorry for slightly off topic, but whilst you're in there, can you confirm if your ashtray light stays on all the time? Mine does and not sure if it's supposed to.
  11. I don't get it, one half drops a nut, the other half is one nut in credit. No?
  12. Unlucky mate. Grit your teeth and bank this one, then keep it filed for some inevitable, future misdemeanour. So at least you've got a, "Remember when you..." get out of jail free card in your pocket.
  13. Looks sweet, nice job, interesting to see how long it holds up. Dan
  14. I'd be tempted by a 350GT, but my mate just landed one of these, loads of car for the cash and with no roof you've got loads of room for transport stuff for your house move, over 30mpg (alleged), totally practical suggestion http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201402282146188/sort/default/usedcars/make/bmw/maximum-mileage/up_to_70000_miles/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/model/6_series/body-type/convertible/radius/1501/postcode/fy14qs/page/1/price-to/10000?logcode=p
  15. Fairly reeks of slave cylinder, FWIW, when my clutch dropped low it was the slave. If Keyser says it, I'd ask them to start there when you take it back.

  17. Might be quite fun if everyone has one, but fairly terrifying if you're up against buses and lorries on a busy roundabout. I can't say I'm that excited about anything that bills itself as "...a near-future environmental and people-friendly mobility solution.". Who writes this s***? What happens when you approach a corner, pedestrian waiting to cross there and it leans in and cleans them up?
  18. You can't really argue with that blend of numbers, decent punch and decent economy isn't that common. If I had to get something sensible it'd defo be on the list.
