  1. Apart from our club logo's, discretely displayed!
  2. This was on a private section of road, of course! Looks like you have very early onset of Zeditis!!!
  3. Hope you will be at Japfest2, not such a drive for you. If you are, would like to look at your Zed, looks good!
  4. Include me too please. 1 car, 2 people, no track time. Thank you.
  5. As stated earlier, check that the roof retracts fully and that the hood is in good condition, with no splits or wear.
  6. Welcome to Zed World! Enjoy driving your Roadster and don't worry about the roof, they all do that when the roof canvas is cold.
  7. +1 for the Poorboys Natural Look, brings the Zed interior back to new!
  8. Looks great! Zeditis strikes again! Beware as you may also become addicted to detailing and your bank balance may suffer. Nice Zed.
  9. I can recommend the RaceGlaze leather cleaner and leather balm. Brought my Zed's standard leather seats back to like new condition.
  10. It's best not to snow foam the hood or side windows. If the hood is cleaned/protected by using any of the better hood cleaning products, then a simple wipe down with dilute car shampoo and a final rinse will keep the hood looking good.
  11. If the hood works and the rest of the car looks OK, at that price, buy it! As others have said, other items can be sorted. Once you have driven the Zed, you'll love it! I've had my roadster now for 18 months and still smile every time I get behind the wheel and fire up that V6! PS: Should sound good in a multi storey car park. Best of luck with your purchase.
  12. For us, older, married guys.............. Didn't you just hate it when your wife pulled the choke right out to hang her hand bag on!!!!!!!!!!!! And then drove 200 miles to her mothers!!
  13. Nice, black 350Z at Trafford Park today. Great exhaust sound as it accelerated up the access slip road for the M60.
  14. I'm a relative newcomer to the art of snow foaming. Got a Karcher K2 pressure washer from Amazon and a CYC foam lance. I use Bilt Hamber snow foam and had good results. You need to be aware that snow foaming can be quite addictive, but not as bad as Zeditis!
  15. That's what Zeds are for. Just to enjoy driving on open roads. Great pics!
  16. I experienced the same problem, as I had mismatched tyres when I bought my Zed almost 18 months ago. It had original OEM Bridgestones on the front and nearly new Avon's on the rear. Ran the Bridgestones to the legal limit and then changed the fronts to Avons to match the rears. No more problems with TC etc. There are some pinned threads on tyre mixing on here which I found very useful.
  17. Good choice with the roadster! Enjoy driving it with the top down, now that the summer is on it's way. I had to replace the OEM system on my roadster a few months ago. Opted for the Milltek, great quality exhaust with a good, muted sound around town, but then sounds great when you can use full throttle on open roads and hear that V6! As Arran says, Milltek or Cobra, depends on what you require from your Zed. Whatever your choice, I'm sure you'll enjoy driving it with the top down. No better sound!
  18. You may wish to consider Lockwood and Greenwood in Audenshaw, Manchester. They have had some good referrals on this forum.

  20. I've just done my engine bay for the first time and was very nervous with regard to protecting the electrics. I decided against a steam clean and opted for degreasing and a very gentle open ended hose down. Used cling film to cover all electrics. My advice is to be quite careful and ensure all electrics are covered. Dry the whole bay off with microfibre cloths or old towels, then start the engine and run for a couple of minutes to warm through. Detail the bay with products of your choice, I've found 303 Protectant to be very good, following recommendations from forum members. Good luck.

    Good buy?

Zeds will do high mileages if regularly serviced, so check the service history. Good luck.
  22. It's probably the non return valve, as 14N advises. I had exactly the same problem which was solved by replacing the valve. A 2 minute job.
  23. Following some favourable comments on his forum, I used the Poorboys Natural Look Dressing on my Zed interior for the first time recently. It is a great product and has transformed the look of the dashboard and door interiors.
  24. After using the Megs Headlight Restorer, you may wish to consider using this as a top coat to protect against further UV damage. Glass Sealant, UV Inhibitor and Coating 50ml by Glass Polish Ltd I've bought some but have yet to try it.
