I'm sure this question has been asked before, but my Zed is coming up to 50k miles, the drive belts look ok, but would like to change them before they fail.. I can't see any reference in the service schedule when drive belts should be replaced. but maybe I've missed something. Your advice would be appreciated.,

I, too, have a Stormforce, triple layer breathable cover for my Zed. It's a great fit and has a soft inner lining to protect the paintwork. I got mine from carcovers4u. Great service/delivery!

I have also noticed this problem. I haven't had my Zed long and it's got Bridgestones on the front and Avons on the rear. The traction control light does display when there is momentary loss of traction, usually from the fronts, usually when crossing white lie markings. It's a little disconcering at first, but as others have said, it's nothing to worry about. Needless to say, I can't wait to get the tyres changed all round to Toyo Proxes or Falkens

I need to replace my discs, so I would like to take the opportunity to upgrade my pads and discs. Any advice on whether I should go for drilled or slotted discs would be welcome.

Had my Zed since October last year, and love every minute driving it. It haves the original Bridgestones on the front and replacement Avons on the rear. Reading all previous threads it seems that mixing tyres on the Zed is best avoided. I can confirm this as even with only driving in the dry, crossing white lines or wet patches on the road instantly bring in the stability control system. Looking at previous threads the consensus seems to be that the best tyres are :- Falken Toyo And lately Goodyear Eagles As I will need to replace my front Bridgestones in the near future, I am faced with the choice of fitting Avon's to the front to achieve tyre compatibility or change all four tyres. So would appreciate any advice please, I am thinking of a total changeout to either the Falken or Toyo's. Regards, Ridz

It's definately temperature related. Below 5 deg C the motor isn't powerful enough to fully retract the hood on cold days. I have the same problem with my roadster. Best solution is to keep the joints well lubricated, (careful application of spray grease is recommended ) In cold weather. turn the a/c to max. screen setting and allow the hood to warm up. If the sun is shining so mutch the better. Once the hood "flexes" when you gently press it with your hand, it should be ready to retract. Don't be afraid to try to retract the hood 2 or 3 times, it will usually go down. If all else fails, do what I do, get someone to operate the hood, and once it gets to the sticking point, give it a good push. It usually sticks on the drivers side. But step back smartly, otherwise you'll get trapped! Hope this helps. Roll on the warmer weather!

An interesting question? I've owned a 2,4 Honda Accord for several years now and still love every minute driving it! It's one of the best cars I've ever had, and I've had company BMWs and Audi's. I wanted a second car for weekend/fun use and looked at both the S2000 and the 350Z. Hard choice! Legendary Honda build quality/reliability and a quality product! But you have to drive it hard and keep the engine revs high to enjoy the performance. In the end I bought a 350Z, Great performance, with far sharper handling, Build quality no where near the Honda, but, so far, has proved reliable, and you can't beat the sound of a V6 engine! As other members have said, it depends on your driving style, but I still smile when I get in the Zed!
