  1. Use the search function, this comes up a LOT Go slow from 1st to 2nd. ie: 1st - N - 2nd - don't just ram it into 2nd basically, especially from cold - put genuine nissan g'box oil in there and maybe as suggested molyslip. I also have to take care going from 6th to 5th sometimes.
  2. yes - it'll cost a few quid
  3. Just a quick question - any idea of fitting time for pulleys ? These ones right ? http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/350z-ams-pulley-set.aspx
  4. Good work - which sealant did you use ?
  5. I've searched this and there ARE threads you fibber white grease from halfords - press pedal down and squirt/dab some on at the joints - probably need to do it a few times over a month until it's worked in.

  7. Where are you based ? I have an extremely good mic for this kind of thing. I'm just near Guildford/Farnham in Surrey. Also, I may as well ask... price ?
  8. Many thanks for the advice, I'll be in touch very soon
  9. So I'm thinking of upgrading the stereo next week - either of these seem ok, although lacking microSD card input which is annoying. Kenwood DDX3021 JVC KW-AV50 Very similar spec I think (?) - any thoughts ? (I know Olliecrx recommended the kenwood )
  10. I tried to post last night but my net connection had a hissy fit. What I was going to say is that if you ARE going to have a remap, you may as well - plenum spacer/sports cat the car whilst you're at it. Making the most of what is available without digging too deep as it were.
  11. Nice ! I also love the 159, I keep seeing one like this in the car park - looks very sexy: http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/alfa-romeo/159/alfa-romeo-159-3-2-v6-jts-q4-lusso-4dr-4-wheel-drive/1108036
  12. Bennett and I made that mistake a couple of months ago
  13. I may have a bash on this - but I don't think I can afford to install it
  14. You have taste This is exactly what I'd go for
  15. Checking my one on the weekend, although I'm pretty sure it's just my rocker covers that need replacing at some point this year.
  16. I put some new compression arms on my car over the weekend but I didn't get a chance to swap out the superpro bushes from the old ones into the new, I know a bit daft but didn't. Obviously I've kept them and I can certainly feel the difference without them, steering is less responsive - which I want back, so a couple of questions. Which ones would you recommend doing for responsive steering ? (very budget concious ATM). And are the compression arm superpro bushes meant to have some play in the central part ?
  17. Just thought I'd mention, a lot of us have the plenum spacer - so would your design work in conjunction with that ?
  18. Yep, it's never as simple as you'd hope unfortunately. My friend got back to me and it was Topcats in Aylesbury that did it
  19. £500-ish and I'm in if the gains are reasonable (which is possible I'm sure)
  20. That's the crux of the matter, sometimes it's just more satisfying trying something different - but typically it can be painful I still want to sling some new cams in my engine but I keep hearing it's like a 8 hour job or some guff
  21. You'd have to totally mad (and loaded) to do this but it would be freaking incredible ! A good mate has an LS conversion in his Sagaris - it is TERRIFYING ! I'll ask where it was done.
