  1. Cheers guys, well they are on now - flipping heck, massive pain in the bum doing that today in the hail Hopefully I did it all ok, lets go see
  2. I think it's the wear indicator tab (fronts at least)
  3. Just trying to work out if the tab on the yellow stuff brake pads go towards the inside or outside of the car/disc/caliper. The old pads didn't have that little metal flap at the bottom.
  4. Well I reversed onto the ramps, and it worked out perfectly The trouble is the Sealey jack that I have is a little on the short side (so when it wasn't up on the ramps I wouldn't be able to pump the jack up as the handle hits the Scorpion exhaust)
  5. Bugger, cannot see it. Ideally it's something I'd like to check out in person, so I can at least make a comparison to my current setup Still, it's always good to check out a video or two.
  6. Thanks guys, once I get back in I'll be doing the front discs/pads first of all, then onto the rear. Hopefully I can do it without the ramp, save a little bit more clutch (ah I've not tried the rear once the car is on the stands yet!)
  7. I'm just looking for someone with decats, and non resonated cobra exhaust (stillen y pipe ideal but not to worry). I've got decats & scorpion but I would just like to check out the cobra as I'm interested in potentially getting their exhaust. Many thanks ! (I'm based in Surrey/Guildford-ish area)
  8. Looks like a great product, however I'd only have one for myself and no passengers
  9. Hey guys, I bought a pair of these ramps from Halfords (actually very good), so that I can get my jack underneath the car properly: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_201901_langId_-1_categoryId_165599 I was just wondering about the rear, should I reverse onto them, or drive forwards as you would for the front ? I guess it may not matter at all but thought I'd ask
  10. I had one identical to that from B&Q, it's really nice but didn't fit underneath the car. Although I just bought the Halfords caravan ramps (£22), and it would probably work - I'll be trying it with my old Sealey one tomorrow.
  11. Sounds good, I think I'll grab one anyway. I'll try out the halfords caravan ramps first with my old Sealey one, just in case that works for now.
  12. I know it's a bit of an old thread but I can nip into Costco on the weekend but just a quick question.. Does this actually reach underneath the car properly so we can put stands into the correct places ?
  13. Thanks for this, I think I'm going to try and do the disc's and pads myself, garage can do the lines & fluids. (I've done it previously on my old MR2, so hopefully it's straightforward's)
  14. Fantastic, please can you pop me down for brake & clutch lines for the DE car I'll get payment sorted out ASAP for you.
  15. Hey, I presume you meant Thursday the 27th (28th is Friday) ? But, if I put my name down, do you think there is any chance of arrival for that weekend ? (I have my MOT on the 3rd and trying to do brakes on Saturday 29th)
  16. Hmm, slightly bad timing for myself - I really dig the colour but I've just bought new front tyres, and new new brake set up this month, plus MOT & tax ffs. Oh and I managed to get some damage to my front left as I was following a mate in a car last week, he jinked very quickly and I couldn't do it at the same rate, sticking out kerb Out of curiosity, how much is it to get the wheels done like that ?
  17. I'd like to buy both the clutch and brake lines but ideally this month, is this likely to happen or I presume waiting on numbers first ? (I'm guessing there's no difference on the b.lines for the 350z Brembo set up)
  18. I want to do my ones (brake\clutch) this month before my MOT ideally, either way - I'm having a set
  19. Fantastic, I have a feeling this is going to be an expensive month though I'll pop an order through once I'm paid up
  20. Going to get a set of these but wondered if they did the clutch line as well ?
  21. ARB's & Super Pro Bushes.
