  1. Don't laugh, but If you don't have any joy with any of the usual suspects in the UK there is a company based in the USA that supplies UK, JDM and USA keys. They also ship to the UK. You can contact them on, www,courtesyparts.com. They are based in Texas. I'm sure there is somewhere in the UK that doesn't charge an arm and a leg but I've yet to find one, but I'm lucky enough to have 3 keys. Good Luck.
  2. I've got to agree with Humpy, you just can't throw wrap on an Azure Blue Zed, these are by far the best coloured Zeds on the market. That's criminal, I'll be sending a writ via my solicitor by recorded delivery tomorrow LOL.
  3. There seems to be too many dickheads about these days who have no respect for people who take good care of their cars. Just because they drive a shed it doesn't mean to say that everyone else treats their car like a skip.
  4. Both of my S14's were like this and my Zed was the same when i gave it its first wash. The worst of it is if it gets wet it takes and age to dry out and is a rust trap in waiting. Its amazing just how much dirt comes out from this little lip. This summer i plan to remove the rear wheels and clean out the arches and give them a good coating of Hammerite stone chip shield.
  5. Welcome to the forum, there are quite a few posts on what to look out for when buying a Zed, these are well worth reading and you'll pick up alt of useful knowledge
  6. Congratz on your purchase and welcome to the forum.
  7. All of your hydraulic fluids are going to need changing as they're hydroscopic (they absorb water and are then useless). If its not been run for a couple of years then I'd remove a couple of spark plugs, remove coil packs so it doesn't fire up and turn the engine over just to recoat the bores with oil. Then I'd reconnect everything and start it up, let it warm up so the oil becomes more viscous and the replace oil along the filter. Change gearbox oil and diff oil. If the tyres are not shot (cracks in the rubber around the sidewall) and they have plenty oft tread then flat spots can be run out after 50 to 75 miles or so. First and foremost you're going to need a new battery.
  8. Hey Jon, welcome to the forum and congratulations on your purchase. I hope you get your clutch sorted pretty soon.
  9. I had a rattle although this was on an OEM exhaust so don't think it will apply to a Nismo exhaust but eventually found out than one of the chrome tips had come loose. Bloody thing was making a hell of a row but a few pinches with some molegrips cured it.
  10. Welcome to the forum and congratz on your purchase.
  11. Hey Justin, welcome to the forum and congratulations on the purchase of your Zed.

    My Z

That's a nice tidy Zed you have there, I bet that exhaust sounds a bit fruity,
  15. When this happens to me, before I get in my car I walk round it to make sure I've not acquired any dents or any paint from other vehicles parked directly next to mine.
  16. Congratulations, that's one tidy looking Azure blue 350Z you've got there.
  17. I can't remember exactly where I read this but I'm sure that fitting these lightweight pulley's caused premature engine wear.
  18. Netnomad, get rid of those POS budget tyres on the rear, you're just asking for trouble on a rear wheel drive car!!
  19. So Torino, how did you get on? Did you find out what the problem was? If so have you managed to fix it?
  20. Whereabouts in the country are you Neoncypher?
  21. Jessejk, as you'll notice that every post has mentioned The Cougar Store. There is a simple reason for this and that is their reputation goes before them. They are recognised 350Z specialists and you could do yourself a massive favour by making sure your Zed is repaired there.
  22. I'd suggest your drop links are knackered. There are a few you tube video's that you can check out. Just type "350Z drop links" and you'll find that the noise made by your Zed is pretty much the same as on the videos. They're pretty simple to fix.
  23. They go off once you start moving as you have airflow that helps with the cooling of the engine.
  24. I don't wish to hi-hack the topic but I love that drift footage on your twitter feed Jared @injaredsworld. Is the soundtrack Scriti Politi?
