  1. Is this not finished yet?
  2. Could be the ball joint or just squeaky old springs.
  3. As Lexx says, headlights are different from 06 but body panels are all the same with the front bumper looking a little different as you mentioned, but all parts are interchangeable.
  4. Splitting any headlight from any car is pretty easy, just a few screws on the back and use a heat gun to soften the seals before pulling apart. It's getting it perfectly sealed again that's the hard part. You won't know if it's done right until it's already in situ on the car and it'll either fig up inside or it won't.
  5. The tyres are fine, very good infact. The KU39's are on par if not better than the Falkens that everyone used to shout about on here. Of course they're not MPSS but they're in a league of their own. As for packing them. I wouldn't bother with all the bubble wrap, just a couple of layers of cardboard to protect the rims will be fine
  6. Do what you like to it But keep all the OEM stuff safe and put it back to standard come sale time
  7. So you've been offered £8k trade in for a Revup roadster? Thats a damn good trade-in in my opinion. Car might fetch £9.5k if it's in perfect condition and you find someone who really wants it and cares a lot about low mileage.
  8. This boyo? It's an Invidia Gemini with rolled titanium tips. Sounds great. Bit louder than stock and a really beefy V6 note under load when giving her the beans

    Headlight Advice

As Ricey said, they're for left hookers, so will need adjusted for our roads and i'm not sure if it's possible, although you will probably get away with pointing them pretty low to pass the MOT. However, I don't like them at all and I feel that changing to those lights is not about making the car look better, but simply changing them for the sake of modifying away from standard.
  10. No audio, though, only option for BT music is a new head unit unfortunately.
  11. Why not offer to ship them? Should only cost about £40.
  12. you're a customer too lol The director rang me yesterday for pics..... I even wrote up the process but they chose not to include it shamefully, considering the time taken to write it!! Thats a bit crap, but oh well, free stuff
  13. Just had an email from Metal Polishing Supplies advising me of Ian's win, congrats again mate
  14. Nappa leather? I wish. Auto dim mirrors? Umm nope. Auto dipping side mirrors? Not unless it's an import or mod. Auto wipers? Would be nice, but nope. Speedtronic cruise control? Isn't that just basic cruise? Dual auto climate control? possibly the most pointless modern addition to any car, but we don't have one. Yellow calipers? ummm not quite, but close Nismo carbon fibre front diffuser? It's a mines replica and I'm 95% sure it's fibreglass. Nismo carbon fibre rear diffuser? Nismo? No, it's Circuit Sports or a copy, might be CF, can't see. Nismo carbon fibre spoiler? Nismo style, yes. Carbon? 95% sure it isn't. Nismo seatbelt protectors? They're Chinese/Tiawan and aren't they to protect you, not the seat belts? Nismo carbon badges? Not quite sure what he's talking about there, maybe the plastic wonky one on the tail? Carbon fibre eyelids? Again, pretty sure they're fibreglass. Besides all that rubbish, it does actually looks like a good car. Bit of dental floss and petrol to remove the rear badges and bin that Citroen V6 badge on the cubby and it'll be god to go
  15. Wow, didn't even buy her a drink first, just straight in there. Love it
  16. I just punch the plastics when the creak, that seems to work for a few miles

    What a day.....

I got 17 or 19mm nuts with my Rota's, no problems
  18. Very nature attitude from both buyer and seller, well done
  19. Did it not slip on the test drive? Weird not to and then start slipping an hour later. Anyway, talk to Darren, maybe he'll give you a few bob back, as a good person would. You shouldn't sell a car with a dead clutch, it's just not cricket.
  20. They're about £20 on eBay, just buy some
  21. Splitter block? They attach directly to the hard pipe.
  22. I'm liking your plate, give you £50 for it
  23. Even at £245000 it would be a bargain http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds?Category=used-cars&M=307&Page=1&isExperiment=True
