  1. Got mine today too, looks great! Determined to get a shot of mine in next year's!
  2. Nooooooooooooo! I've just ordered some from the US (At a few £'s more!)
  3. If the price of the part is less than £135 then no duty is charged. You will still have to pay VAT @20% (On the item and delivery charge) and probably the Royal Mail handling fee which is £8 IIRC.
  4. I must have read that 100 times before I bought mine!
  5. +1 Always a good idea to check on here.
  6. Wouldn't you be able to tell it was the 03-05 by the different interior and front bumper?
  7. Azure is the colour to go for tbh. People may disagree with this, but that's only because they've bought the wrong colour and don't want to look silly!
  8. Wow! I thought my 104 was pretty impressive!
  9. I also have the Vred's all round and find them excellent in pretty much all conditions. You really have to be pushing hard to get them to let go and when they do it's really gentle and progressive. If I was going for a new set though, I'd probably go for the MPSS as they get even better reviews than the Vreds, so must be pretty amazing. Obviously the MPSS are a little more expensive so depends if you want to fork out the extra. If you do go for the Vreds you won't be dissapointed, they are an excellent tyre (IMHO).
  10. Thanks Colin I had seen these and have also , but I think £70 is way too much... I definitely don't want to pay £80!
  11. Hi, Does anyone have any used set lying around that they would like to sell? I've been toying with importing some from the US, but it'll still work out about £70 after tax etc. which I think is a bit much for some clear plastic!
  12. My 1st year quote was pretty high too, 2nd year looks like it will be about £150-200 less including mods.
  13. Those poor cows, although they are probably on their way to be killed, but still pretty traumatic for them!
  14. I've driven to Bognor before and have GCSE French... That combo knocked £200 off my last quote. 2 Masters degrees and having driven and owned cars in other countries should easily take 70% off? Try calling a few companies and explain how well educated and travelled you are, I'm sure they'll give you a better deal...
  15. Even if it did increase / help airflow, would you not need a remap to reap the benefits anyway?

    Ventus Sport k104

When you drive a 3.5 V6 which averages about 22mpg, then I really wouldn't worry about the tyre's fuel efficiency rating! I'd be surprised if tyre's alone could save more than a few pence a year as opposed to driving style.
  17. £500... WTF! There doesn't look like there's anything salvageable on that? You'd need a tetanus jab just for looking at it. I don't understand why anyone would buy a car in that state? They aren't that rare that you couldn't get one in better condition, especially as you are going to practically have to buy every part to get it in any sort of condition.
  18. Out for a nice drive with my parents this afternoon (not in the Zed). One spotted at about 2pm near Cocking, heading towards Midhurst. Second spotted parked outside a house / bungalow in Pagham.
  19. That's right, looks strange as hell though! Don't ask me how it works, but it obviously does?
  20. The motordyne kit comes with spacers for the strut... I assume Ian's will as well as he has already mentioned that the kit will include the extended bolts for the plenum etc?
