  1. You'd think that taking your car to Nissan, although possibly more expensive, would provide you and your car with the best service possible... My car currently has a FNSH, but only because I haven't had to get it serviced yet. When the time comes, I'll probably find out how much Nissan will charge, but I know I'll end up taking it to my now trusted garage (Recommended to me by another forum member). They will still stamp the book the same as Nissan, I've had work done by them before so I know they'll do a good job, so I don't see why that would be an issue when it comes to sell on, or why at this stage of ownership that this would be more of a concern to me than the actual service the car gets and I personally receive.
  2. Haven't put anything in other than Shell V Power since I bought mine in Feb, but would use 95 in desperation as the Zed is my daily drive.
  3. Got my 2 today aswell, sound is pretty decent. Many thanks to the OP for the heads up!
  4. Vote: On the move Doogy had some nice PS skills!
  5. You should expect a few stone chips / scratches, especially if the car has been a daily drive. Anything like a respray or mechanical problems and you should be looking elsewhere IMHO. There are plenty of nice cars around and you can always put a kit on at a later date.... More expensive, but probably cheaper than anything gearbox related.

Search is your friend! viewtopic.php?f=61&t=59314 General concensus is 20 front, 25 rear. or some of the other traders on here also have them.
  8. That's amazing! For double that you can get a real one (Newer and less mileage). Or for less than that POS, you can get a similar age DB7... Who is seriously going to pay £20k for that? Edit: Curse my slow typing, Chester beat me to it!
  9. If you're not confident that you're going to get the car at the price you want, then make sure you definately want that car / colour / spec. When I bought mine a few months ago, I didn't manage to get all that much off, but I really wanted an Azure with the GT pack, so was prepared to pay. If you really want the car, then start a a few hundred below the maximum you're prepared to pay. If you can't get the dealer down, then walk. Remember, he's not doing you a favour, he's trying to get as much cash from you as he can. Start at 7, move to 7.5 if you have to... then walk. Easy to say, as I'm sure you really want a Zed, but there are plenty of good cars out there... Good luck with the purchase!
  10. Both spotted on my way to work at about 7:15 between Rawdon and Horsforth. Hello, if it was you!
  11. Worried about MPG, buy a diesel not an induction kit!
  12. Not usually a fan of black roofs, but that looks so nice!
  13. I've just got a cheque from MusicMagpie for my collection. It had been gathering dust for the past 4 years as I've had everything ripped for ages. Got enough to buy one of my new rear tyres, so pleased I finally did it.
  14. Daily Toy! Presents haven't stopped since I got her!
  15. I guess it all depends on your budget and the type of sound you're looking for? If I wasn't such a brand whore, I probably would have gone for a resonated Cobra as well, nice sound without being too loud. I absolutely love my Nismo and am still giggling like a school girl every time I accelerate!
  16. I've seen 2 for sale on here and 1 on eBay since I've been a member. I ended up managing to buy a non genuine one which does a pretty good job, but even these don't come up for sale that often. I think the options are either buying one from Nissan (Although some dealers apparently have no idea what one is), or get lucky when one comes up for sale as they will be sold very quickly.
  17. Dammit! That's this and some Nismo Oil and Rad caps I've missed in the last hour! Have you people got nothing better to do than trawl this forum!
  18. Cost £30k to build! This is my fav pic: It seriously looks like a child has done the rear louvers... Apparently a real head turner, presumably preceded by howls of laughter! Love the colour though!
  19. I'd be happy to help, but I'm not close at all. I did mine and I have no real mechanical or electrical experience and haven't soldered anything since I was at school (1994). It really isn't difficult if you follow the guide, but I understand your trepidation.
  20. It'll be the damn Yorkshire roads! I've just had my alignment done and I bet it's out again in a few weeks after a few encounters with potholes!
  21. OMG, I didn't expect it to end like that!
  22. I have some part worn Bridgestone RE040's coming off my car today (Or possibly Saturday if the garage are slow). They are 225/45 R18 I don't know how warn they are, so I'll PM you when they're off and we can discuss a price etc. You can have first refusal on them anyway.
